rangers and trainers don't often get the chance to work together. after all, their separate disciplines often keep them apart plenty of the time. however, with things changing within hoenn's infrastructure, and the going-ons of what had happened in the last AQUA meeting, it only made sense that the two would be paired together.

[break][break] their mission was supposed to be simple. map out the local area while also at the same time saving a group of travelers that had gone missing. with ollie's understanding of the geography and MATIAS SILPH' strength, it should have been an in-and-out endeavor.

[break][break] but things rarely went as planned.

[break][break] "no," ollie said with a sigh, brows furrowed together. he turns away from the pit of darkness that he'd been staring into and then back towards the elite four, a small torch lit in his hand. the pitiful warmth billowed between them. "comms aren't working either."

[break][break] he squints out into the opposite end of the cave, where a fierce BLIZZARD blows and blocks their path to the exit.
