“Yeeeeee-haw!” He cries a Unovan rebel yell against the prehistoric heat. Beneath him is his own Cyclizar. Sensing Thin Lizzy in his pokeball, it seems to have swapped out the predesignated default model for Navy’s own specimen.[break][break]
Only the whipping wind, the forward motion, keeps the heat at bay. Having done this before, he wishes he could turn around. Fight that which pursues them. However, bound by urgent need, he realizes that both of them probably just want to move on. There’s something more in here they want to see.[break][break]
“What, Connors, don’t wanna fight Dialga?!” Lizzy’s wheel kicks up dirt beneath him. He feels her body lean. Gripping the clutch of the ancient saddle, he turns with her. All that forward momentum switches as the Cyclizar launches like a noivern out of hell right into the cavern.[break][break]

He moves first, to the weapons set before them. His hand wraps around the hilt of the sword, and he takes a moment to study it, before flipping it over and handing the handle to Navy.

"The other one looks like it needs some muscle. Here, this should suit ya."

He laughs, the tension of the situation bleeding away with his joke.

Greyson hefts the shield, the heavy, metallic object uncomfortable to an unaccustomed grip. Around him, Navy, and the dog of legend, a shining blue shield surrounds them.

"Royalty, admittedly, wouldn't be a good look on me." He says, half a grin splitting his lips. "I prefer a more active lifestyle."

As death loomed, Greyson stood to meet it.

“Yeah, I feel you there.” With the choice made, matters begin to escalate. Having seen this scene play out time and time again, the man he once was pays attention to the details. There’s subtle shifts in the background, the moment his fellow Elite did what he did. Eternatus grows more active, His dynamaxed swarm more restless. Matters escalate. They move. Rumbling across the field, calamity comes for them.[break][break]
Yet they were not granted their titles idly. A glance to Zamazenta and a nod is the only communication the two need. Eternatus comes. Navy defends Greyson’s charge. Zamazenta lunges, his wide guard blocking the inevitable cannon promising their destruction.[break][break]
“ORA!” Accompanying the shield is a fighting master, Navy’s Urshifu. Shuwen still bears the burn scars from the Walking Wake. He charges alongside Greyson, his fists slamming into the first foe they meet.[break][break]
“Signing paperwork? Ordering other people out onto the field? Nah. That’s a job for Goode. You and me? We’re right where we’re supposed to be.”

“Help!” Someone Navy doesn’t recognize screams. Turning to face the voice, he is greeted by a red mist. A rock stands where there had once been a man. Jumping down low, he sees another boulder fly overhead.[break][break]
“Connors!” He shouts, looking around. “Greyson!” He says the second word just in time to see the man’s Blastoise splash the Regirock. “Alright, let’s do this.”[break][break]
His choice of Pokemon is inspired by Greyson’s. Sol was his brother’s Charizard, raised from a Charmander. He competed with the Blastoise in a contest last year. With one Elite on a Charizard, the other aiming a Blastoise’s cannon, the battle certainly feels nostalgic.[break][break]
