Like forging hot metal, Tai applies the heat and pressure to the weakening shield by commanding his Pokemon to the best of his ability. While he considers himself ingenuine in how he operates with people, his bond with his Pokemon is something real and true. It shows how they battle and fight together. Typhlosion's eerie flame grows as the battle goes on, syncing well with Duraludon and Mawile in slowly chipping away the enemy’s strength. [break][break]
His boss sings his praises while Tai is focused on the target ahead, locked in, like a hunter ready to hunt its prey. This time Tai gives no verbal command, instead snapping his fingers and his three Pokemon recognize the sound, immediately getting into formation. A couple more good hits? Nonsense. He only needed one. [break][break]
“Do it.”[break][break]
Duralon LEERS straight at it's opponent, remaining stationed right where it is. Mawile braces itself in a runner’s position while Typhlosion is right behind her. Heat builds in its belly and FLAMETHROWER powers through his lungs and shoots out of his mouth, propelling the Mawile forward just like a comet in the sky. Mawile sheens briefly with a metallic coating till it focuses entirely on her cranial area. She launches herself into the shield with a nose shattering IRON HEAD.

Peppered by its cousin and the Typhlosion, Duralodon tries to get a read on its opponents. It regains control of its senses precisely as Mawile jumps up, slamming into the barrier with everything they have. Navy, watching from where he sits atop Voyager, feels his breath catch in his throat.[break][break]
It feels like the battle could go either way. It is just them, two of them, against this monster. How many more would die in a rescue party? There’s no time to think, there’s only time to act. Spurring Voyager on, Navy chooses to have faith.[break][break]
A hairline fracture forms in the barrier, right where Mawile’s iron head made contact. Imperfection spreads along the surface, cascading into a total breakdown. The barrier shatters in a rumbling explosion of colors and sound. Voyager’s body grows hot beneath him. Dragonslayer glows at his side. They charge at the monster.[break][break]
Higher and higher Voyager climbs, streaking like a comet. At last, he launches himself at the monster, slamming into it with everything he has. Their attacks prove enough. Dynergy bursts from the creature. It roars in pain, shrinking until it seems a twin of Tai’s own dragon.[break][break]
“Yahoo!” Navy can’t resist the howl, streaking back down like a burning comet until Voyager and he land, breathless, near Tai. “Holy—I mean, guess that’s that.”[break][break]
Too focused on his ally, Navy doesn’t notice the dragon they just took down collapse, dead seemingly without cause.
