It had been a hot minute since she had last been here at Mt. Pyre. And yet the ghastly mountain always seemed to beckon her back. Perhaps it was her affinity for ghost types that made her susceptible to the call, or perhaps there was no call at all and this was just a bout of fancy taking hold in her.

Whatever the source may be. She walked down the spooky road of Route 121 early at night, night sky cloud free and adorned with twinkling stars above.

At this time, she was certain that the ghosts she was looking for would be starting to get active.

On her back clung one of her own ghosts, a Sableye eager to finally be out and about.

Her first ghostly visitor was a Haunter that floated aimlessly about looking for something. For a moment she considered catching it. She was almost certain that her Gengar would enjoy another playmate.

But Angelica, the Sableye on her shoulder, had other plans. Through trickery with its shadow it scared off the ghost before releasing a tiny snicker.

“Angelica, that wasn’t very nice of you!” Johanna spoke, a sigh followed shortly after. The Sableye was as always a bit of an uncontrollable prankster.

Unfortunately Angelica’s antics had caused a ruckus. As the Haunter hurried away so too did it drag several other Pokemon alongside it, some of which might have shown interest in speaking with the duo.

Well, this is bothersome. Johanna sighed. She could feel the contained snicker from the Sableye who was clearly proud of itself. And so they moved onward hoping to find braver company elsewhere.

For all the bother that Angelica’s antics had caused, there was one opponent who did not feel threatened. One Ghost ready to take up the challenge.

It stepped forth The Dusclops sending a MEAN LOOK at both of them.

“Welp, seems like we found a contender, Angelica.” Johanna spoke not feeling particularly threatened by the frowny Dusclops.

The Sableye on her back jumped into action. First a SHADOW SNEAK delivered with heavy hands, followed by an ASTONISH’ed squish of the Dusclops face.

Dusclops tried to PURSUIT, but found itself unable to follow with the quick Sableye and so the battle was over far too quickly.

And at the end of it it all Johanna threw her Pokéball, aiming for a capture.
