One of their more recent matches was... Jarring to say the least... Yuina spent a bit of time with Daikenki at the alotted Pokemon center to make sure that the Samurott could recover, and even longer making sure that the water type wished to continue at all.[break]
Needless to say, as Yuina did dare to come back out to find her next match, relief washed over her as she found not just a familiar, but friendly and comforting face in Ollie as she found her next match field.[break][break]
"Ollie, I'm so glad to see you," Yuina smiled, moving forward to meet him then with Daikenki beside her, the Samurott was recovered, but she only hoped that they had done enough to make sure that he was good to keep going in their matches.[break][break]
"Yeah, we're ready, our first time battling each other, huh? I hope we can show you that we've been working hard every day to be rangers," Yuina mentioned with another smile. She yearned so much to make sure that she was worthy of the armband Ollie gave to her... Even if this meant nothing in the way of fulfilling something for the organization, she just wanted to show Ollie that they never stopped trying...

He knew that she'd worked closely with several of them, including Genevieve Cromwell and Josh Devlin both. "I'm excited to see what you've got. C'mon!"

Yuina can't help the beaming smile on her face as Ollie's Pikachu leaps to her in greeting, his soft fur rubbing against her cheek, and Daikenki barks at Ollie in kind. She looks up to Ollie as he nods along, smiling that he's heard good things about her work. He's given her so much praise, and so much patience... And while Yuina should feel proud of herself at getting such high regards from her highest superior... She can't help but wince at the pang of guilt that surges into her chest...[break][break]
It was time to start the battle though, they both took their sides, and Yuina did her best to push things away... if only for now...[break]
"Yeah! We'll give it our all, Daikenki go," Yuina returned, giving her partner the defensive position that he needed to combat the Pikachu as she tapped at the orb on her belt. The Samurott glittered in shimmering yellow, taking on Electric Tera to work around one of his greatest weaknesses and was able to rush past the Electro Ball to strike with Ceaseless Edge.

[break][break] Expectably, the ELECTRO BALL crashed against the newly-crystalized pokemon with ease. It fizzed out into practically nothingness, giving perfect opportunity for Tofu to be cut down with a CEASELESS EDGE.

[break][break] The Pikachu gave a shout of pain, jumping back and shaking it's fur out. Then, he quickly leaped to his feet in an attempt to gain an advantage, TRAILBLAZING towards the other before attempting to kick out with his hind legs.

The battle started and it started off quickly as the electricity surged forward and melded into Daikenki's tera energy. The Samurott came out unscathed, but only for now as the Pikachu rushed forward, kicking up a trailblaze as it ran.[break]
"Daikenki, kage," Yuina called, hoping that they could get another good vantage point as the Samurott barked and disappeared into the shadows below, using Shadow Sneak. Then from the darkness, to the side of the rushing rodent, Daikenki lunged forward with his blades and a Sacred Sword to strike.

[break][break] The same attack that lam logan had used in their battle, Ollie watched with wide eyes as shadows coalesced around the Samurott. The large pokemon disappeared in a blur of light, only to reappear right behind Tofu.

[break][break] The Pikachu shouted with surprised as the sword slashed down his cheek, drawing blood, as he leaped back. It stung.

[break][break] Gritting his teeth, he leaped back again and lashed his tail out, an ELECTRO BALL exploding and speeding rapidly towards their competition.

In spite of the awesome power that Ollie's Pikachu possessed in the battle, it seemed perhaps, at least for now, that bigger might not always be better. Daikenki's dexterity was proving a great asset as the Samurott rushed around the field, glancing the Pikachu's energy charged blows, and thus far... He was unscathed.[break]
"Keep going Daikenki," Yuina called as the Pikachu released a giant electro ball that raced for the Samurott, and Daikenki hissed as he bore his blades, slashing through the energy and hoping to get into range again. Leaping forward with his seamitars, he moved to strike with a Ceaseless Edge, in an attempt to keep their upper hand in the battle.

Just when it seemed that the tides of the battle were about to eb away... Ollie pulled out one last trick... The same one that Genevieve Cromwell had that had absolutely devastated the battlefield... It had to be dynamax, the same that her Sandshrew used, and Yuina wasn't sure then, would they be able to take on this last round?[break]
The enormous Pikachu shook the field just from its sheer size alone, the immense power was palpable, and in its strength the electric type surged and released a bout of electricity that overtook the entire battlefield. Yuina had to turn and shield her eyes, the electricity was impossibly bright as it crackled along the ground, and Daikenki did what he could to leap through the air in an attempt to miss the waves washing over the ground, aiming to land one last strike with a Sacred Sword...

The sheer power of the now Dynamaxed Pikachu was incredible, with its new found strength, its resilience, it was able to deflect Daikenki and his pursuit like he was nothing... They only needed to try and land one more strike, would they be able to do it now that Tofu had taken on this powerful energy?[break]
"Daikenki, one more time you can do it," Yuina called, but her voice was lost over the giant sound of crackling electricity as the Electro ball threatened to tear through the entire battlefield as it was set loose. Daikenki tried to rush past the Electricity and get in for a strike, aiming with a Sacred Sword in hopes that he could make it.
