He scratched at the back of his head sheepishly. He felt like he should know the person before him, but he was drawing a blank. He didn't feel like a random nobody though... was he a leaguer he had somehow missed?

"My name's John." He finally said cheerfully, lobbing a pokeball up and down. "I'm a medic, a biker, and a bugcatcher. Pleasure to battle ya!"

He blinked at the other, before slowly nodding, a smile coloring his lips.

"Right then." He said, his head craning back to stare up at their opponent. In front of him, Kama, who was even closer to the now titanic pikachu, struggled to so much as get a peak at the top of his head, eyes wide.

Oh, this was a new experience alright.

"Don't mind the size, Kama! You know what they say!" He shouted, hands cupped around his mouth. "The bigger they are—!"

They harder they could splat?

"Uh. Well, yeah, but don't think about that part!" He quickly course corrected, before pumping a fist. "Trip him up and make 'im fall! Go!"

Reluctantly, the scyther gulped before leaping in the air, her wings flapping rapidly as she swung her arms in arcs towards the pikachu, sending blasts of air towards it.

It had been more of a general instruction, rather than a real order— but hey, Aaron's command still worked, for what it was worth.

Meanwhile, Kama was fried off the air like a cutiefly, bouncing along the hard ground before managing to recover with a spin, looking pained as she glared up at the titan. The hell was she supposed to do against the sheer girth? That last thunderbolt had been like a passing thunderstorm!

"Don't lose your cool, jeez. You're just having fun, remember?" He reminded his pokemon, grinning. "Try to problem solve!"

Scyther glared at him, before glaring back at her opponent, narrowing her eyes. It was big, but slow. Powerful, but hopefully she could still do something about it...?

She leapt forward, leaping at the Pikachu's knee before using it to leap towards its stomach— attempting to climb the titan in order to slay it!

Well, that was harsh.

Unfortunately, it didn't seem like they had a good path to victory. Electricity was an unfortunate match up for Kama— the fact the pikachu was massive wasn't helping either.

Kama looked to be on her last legs, too...

"Well, guess I can try and help a little!" He said with a smile, his wrist gleaming red as the Z-crystal reacted to his will.

Reeling back, the scyther's red hot scythe was swung, unleashing a vast storm of cutting winds towards the Pikachu.

"Well, that's that." Doug called out to his Scyther, watching the opponent's pikachu reel back. "The rest's on ya!"

Panting after the blast, the Scyther felt just a little better about how bad she had been doing until now, leaping back as her opponent swung at her— before lunging back for another blow, attempting to launch herself like a whole ass missile. About the only thing she could do to harm the towering thing.

Perhaps having learned from the last time she got upclose and personal with the chubby electric ball, Kama had leapt away from the its gut the moment she connected, almost seeming to bounce off it as it unleashed a torrential discharge.

Her flapping wings carried her through the air, her eyes wide as she watched the lightning pool out. Relief filled her. So far, things were going better than before... but only just.

She couldn't get cocky.

Her arms blurred as she swung at the Pikachu's face with twin walls of wind.

Doug raised his hand over his eyes as the 'Fuck you Beam' blasted across the stadium, flashier than lightning and louder than thunder.

Kama was already weak to electricity— there was little chance in tanking that.

Stepping past the battlefield line towards his pokemon, he crouched besides her and tapped her carapace, knitting her wounds closed in an instant. "Ya did good, Kama. Don't worry too much."

He pet her head briefly before returning her to her ball, before rising to give his opponent a tilt of the brow.

"'Fuck you' beam, huh?" He echoed at the adult man.
