Matias Silph. While he has definitely heard of the man through various other people, this was the first time they had met face to face. He hadn't expected to battle against the Elite Four member so early on. While not an official League match, still Noel would do his best to make his mark. He returns the smile back towards his opponent, preparing himself for the fight ahead.[break][break]

Moving his hand to his hip, he presses the button on his Tera orb which opens up to unleash a mystical energy that changes his Shaymin to its Grass Tera. It stands on its side of the arena, waiting for their foe to make their first move.

On the outset the Meowth is nothing more than a housecat. But the rock-type move is quick to put Noel and his Shaymin on edge. Having no time to assess their opponent before the match could start, the little hedgehog takes a side step to dodge the oncoming projectile. It fires off a hasty Energy Ball to the start of their match. [break][break]

Matias would surely be no pushover. If Noel and his partner wanted any hope of winning, they would have to pull out all the stops.

They were now put on an even playing field. Noel knew first-hand just how powerful the Dynamax phenomenon could be in this tournament, having faced off against two giant Pikachus was enough to scar the young trainer. However he had triumphed against one before, and he could do it again. Taking the full brunt of the rock-type attack, the Shaymin seems unfazed, even if some damage was dealt, it wouldn't show weakness.[break][break]

Sending an Earth Power towards their opponent, the ground move would appear from underneath the Meowth, spear-like rock jut out from below and aim to cut away at their foe.

It was far from over. The fiery attack wouldn't even reach the Shaymin as it leaps to the side in order to dodge it, getting out of harm's way as the move leaves a flaming trail along its path. The hedgehog had grown battle-hardened from its time in this tournament alone, and knew the steps to victory in this match. With a Seed Flare projecting out in all directions to hit their opponent, it would hope that at least one hit could land.[break][break]

The attack comes too swiftly. Unable to react in time and still recharging from its last move, the Shaymin has no choice but to take the hit. But this wasn't enough to bring it down to its knees. Instead, it retaliates, a Zen Headbutt aiming to smack against the Meowth.[break][break]

"Who knew such a giant cat could hold so much power... But that goes the same for my Shaymin as well! Even though its small, it still just as powerful as any other!"[break][break]

it's about as close to a compliment he will offer Noel Parker as his growing annoyance at meowth overrides all niceties. it looks as though he's about to lose this battle which is a jarring experience.[break][break]

still, he does not bother with barking out orders at meowth, knowing the feline is useless.[break][break]

ZEN HEADBUTT slams into meowth, knocking the wind out of it as it tries to fire back with a sloppy POWER GEM.[break][break]

Noel says smugly with a smirk across his face. He knew that all it took was one more good hit in and the match would be decided. His Shaymin would end this battle with a bang. Releasing all the energy it had stored inside its body, it fires off a Solar Beam that completely decimates the rock projectiles and head their way towards the long cat.
