he leads the way towards the canary hall, having seemingly forgotten the consequences of the assault earlier all of a sudden. he starts to take the coat off as they put distance between them and the hyacinth hall. temperature was much more normal there than here.

Bronze watches the jacketed figure trudge off through the impromptu drifts of snow, blinking slowly as he flicked a glance about the frozen warfront. What had been the point? The fellow with the dogs didn't seem capable of sustaining any sort of endeavour for more than a few minutes, before apparently either growing bored, getting distracted or forgetting what he was doing. It was baffling, really - he was like a faulty fluorescent light, flickering and flashing, then dark, then back again without rhyme or reason. It brought to mind those movies that tended to focus college and the ridiculous pranks that ensued. Hijinks. That was the word for what this was - hijinks. At least the cold let him savour his tea all the more. Quite nice, really.

Her words were stern - a scolding tone, almost, as she showed little fear of taking up such a voice with the towering man. "and--" Before Noelle could continue, from the window, now that the flurrying winds had finally died down, she saw who was the cause behind it all. "is that kyle?!" Completely forgetting about her 'quarrel' with the man, her face pressed to the window, staring at his retreating form with a little twitch.

"that dummy, he knows i hate the cold," she loudly complained with a frown. although, the sight of not only kyle lopez leaving, but mateo martinez following as well was just icing on the cake. were they....even going to invite her? what about Morgan Drake ? alas, her phone didn't make a single noise.

[attr="class","spiral"] the events that unfold do not go unnoticed. fernando watches from the shelter of the huntail base, observing the various ice attacks and how mateo martinez of the elite four handles it. his boisterous attitude can be uncouth and sometimes he has doubts about dahlia goode's choice but his attitude reflects the spirit of the event and how the other participants should be engaging with one another. fernando keeps to himself, judging while refusing to participate with the same fervor.

THE HYACINTH BEACH is defrosted once everyone settles down and the beach enters a period of inactivity between skirmishes. A variety of fire Pokemon warm the beach with Sunny Day. Nothing is left of the artificial snow storm and the stronghold looks no different than before. [break][break]

The remnants of the snow seem to bring in a dense fog that shrouds the shores in mystery. The sun beams through the shroud and everything resumes as normal.

Apparently, some real shit had gone down. Sam didn't come to the warfront as a means to invade -- hell, he could barely even be considered there really, but he wanted to see what each warfront looked like. And this one? This one was interesting. He liked the colors, for sure...

So instead of starting a fight or picking at anybody, he just took a peek at the front and then started back to headquarters. If anything, he could say he went and had a look if one of the Canaries bickered at him for 'not entering the battle on any other warfront.'

Maybe he'd stop by Garnet's warfront first...

Isra watches from the cover of shade and her parasol, she's been watching from the sidelines for a little while now and isn't sure what to make of the scene that was in front of here mere moments before. She supposes this is how people play at pretend wars for the sake of the event and it makes her hesitant to join the fray. She does not play pretend in battles she goes for gold and gold only.

As the snow and mist clear honey gold eyes keep a close watch on the battlefield from their strong hold. Finger tap lightly at not her primary team but the pokeballs for her secondary one kept on a band around her thigh rather than at her side like the others. It is the only reserve she's brought with her.

Perhaps she'll simply wait and watch for whatever is going to happen now.

Rhys had kept himself from leaving the base and participating in the "war" that was going on. Things were lively as ever out in front of the Hyacinth base. It was convenient being able to look out from the inside of the base and see everything that was going on. The man was new to Hoenn, therefor most of the trainer's that were participating outside were very unfamiliar to him. The one he had his eyes on however was mateo martinez of the Elite Four—Rhys knew him for another reason though...

As Rhys pulled away from watching the battles going outside, he began to explore the rest of the base. Coming to a halt when he picked up the presence of another man observing the festivities going on outside. Rhys felt a powerful aura from the man, and this interested him. "Anyone catching your eye out there?" He spoke to FERNANDO SILPH.

So there are two Elite Four members here? Rhys wasn't really phased by this information. Instead, he joined the blue-haired stranger in watching the battles commencing outside while they talked. The Elite Four had nothing to do with his goal. There was a slim possibility they would interfere with him down the line, but that was a bridge to be crossed when he got there. He paid more attention to Mateo, the new head of the Hundred Devouring Family.

"The one with the cape, his name is Mateo I believe." He pointed at the flamboyant character. "Do you think you can take either of them in a battle?"
