"Oh, it's you. Hey, boss."

Were the words spoken to him when he entered the flower shop. Dressed in his usual fine black kalosian suit, he gave a gracious smile to the woman behind the counter as he approached her.

"Hello to you as well Ms. Leitch....I do hope you've been settling in well here?" Reaching the counter he would lean against it casually. Teal eyes scanning the area to make sure nothing was amiss, she was his first real 'recruit' as it were, even though she had been part of Rocket long before him. He still felt some sense of responsibility for helping her gain entry to Hoenn under the watchful eyes of those trying to pursue her. Amor hadn't necessarily recruited any new members to Rocket, but he did his best to keep the ones already in it comfortable, and wanting to be useful.

He particularly enjoyed the peaceful nature of Oldale town, but he also lived on the outskirts of Lilycove which afforded him something similar though without the 'country' feel to it.

"Did I happen to interrupt a nap, hm?" He asked with a gentle chuckle, and moved his gaze back to her face. She was a capable woman in all regards, and he was sure that before long she wouldn't need much of his help. That didn't mean he wouldn't drop by from time to time to check up on her, and perhaps give her a mission or two. The pay for being a florist was abysmal he knew that much, thankfully for her it was just a cover.

It wouldn't surprise him if all florists were secretly criminals, and did so just to pay their bills, and not struggle as much. After meeting Elisabeth Fiorelli it made more sense than it should.

"That would be delightful, with some sugar, and cream please." He added to the end hoping he wasn't being to much of a bother with his preference. Amor had a sweet tooth, and coffee was not sweet in the slightest. It was the one drawback of the drink, but he could improvise if nothing else. "Well I hope you got plenty of rest then, because I may or may not have a special task for you....Depending on how good your coffee skills are...." The words trailed off softly. Was he joking? Was he serious? It was hard to tell, he had once pulled in howard slayte into his office and made the man work for him, for destroying his favorite cafe, which served his favorite lemonade.

It was anyones guess on what was going through the scientists mind at any given moment.

"I figured since you've been here for a bit, and you are mostly settled in....Might be a good chance to dip your toes in, and I could use someone with your skills....There is only one other person I know of with your skillset, and we aren't exactly on good terms yet...." Though he was working on that, or trying to. Amor wasn't great at making friends that were human at the very least.

"Only if you want to that is." He gave her the option to refuse should she want, but he hoped she would accept. It wouldn't be a hard mission, but it would give him some insight into her capabilities, and give him a baseline to work with for future missions. Learning her temperament, how she carried herself, these were all important things, and definitely not because he wanted to get to know her. A good boss learned about his employees.

A noose, chain, or collar all offered the same imprisonment, a life, but each offered varying levels of comfort. Amor preferred to keep those under him comfortable, they often served better, and were less likely to try, and tear his head off in the long run.

"Nothing to difficult...." He said gratefully taking the light mixture, and giving it a gentle blow before taking a drink of it. The milk, and sugar mixture coursing through his veins offering his body a delight. "I just need some intel from a particular company, so I can reduce their stock, and buy it for myself...." There were many ways he could achieve this, but subterfuge was the best one. Stealing plans, letting the company fall into disarray, and panic were the methods he preferred.

"Or...." He took another sip of his drink. "I require a date at a particular function I'm going to attend....Showing up with you would deter unwanted advances." Which were annoying if he was being completely honest, people hounding him for investment, and women trying to throw themselves at him to get into his pockets....If he didn't have his own company in the region he wouldn't bother attending, but Walter told him that it would be good for him. Socializing....He sighed at the thought.

"I'll let you pick your poison...." Noose, chain or collar....

He took another drink as he waited for answer.

He just quirked a brow at her amusement, but he didn't let it bother him. Personal relationships with the opposite sex....They were tricky for him to say the least, so he would just let her think what she would. It was better for both of them that way. Instead a pleasant smile crossed his features as he regarded her answer.

"Perfect, I'll have something prepared for you then, and since you're humoring me....Almost liplessly....I'll give you a tiny bonus." He dangled the treat above her head, but nothing more. There were no illusions between them. "The party is in a few days, I'll come pick you up a few hours before it starts so you can get ready." Of course he would have to confer with his personal tailor to get her something made, but it was a small price to pay so that he wouldn't be hassled, or bothered.

His outward look didn't change but internally he was grateful for the service she was about to do for him.

"I'll send you the details on the company later today, Walter will arrive in person to give you a letter....That way there is less of a trail." And if anyone followed his Butler....Well he would feel bad for them, because Walter was not as kind as Amor was. So he put the cup to his lips, and took another drink with a soft sigh enjoying the moment of it. "Do you have a favorite color? Or one you would prefer your dress to be? I'll be gracious, and match you." A smirk on his lips, even though she had admitted to not knowing anything about how to dress fancy, she would still be able to at least answer this.

Her understanding of their dynamic is what makes her so easy to work with. She was just the right mixture of toothy, and obedient.

Kept his attention on her as she spoke about making herself look pretty so he wouldn't have to work more, and he just chuckled a bit standing up.

"Do not deprecate yourself....Everyone I pick has a certain shine to them, you are no exception...." Of course he assumed she was joking so the words were faux stern. Just playing along with her little game, but he picked up the bag of cookies, and there was a gleam in his eyes for a moment. He, and Adontis would enjoy these later, he had a notorious sweet tooth, and his Pikachu was no better.

"White it is....I suppose I'll wear black, the yang to your yin." He mused taking a final drink of his coffee, and setting the empty mug on the counter. "It was a pleasure to see you again Ms. Leitch, and I'll see you again soon enough." Turning his back to her he was almost out the door before he paused, almost like he was going to say something, or he had forgotten something, but he stepped foot out the door, and into the open air. In a brilliant flash of white his Dragonite was by his side, and he climbed on it's back.

"Let's go home Draco...." And then they were in the sky vanishing into the air.
