That request has been rather surprising, but Lutgarde doesn't mind - it's really hard to imagine any kind of request that they'd refuse, if it didn't involve them committing a crime, that is. So, Sylv and them took camp beneath the Pecha tree, accompanied by Noh, Garnet and Oreo. (Zylf's sleeping.) Noh and Garnet were sitting together, humming quietly, while Oreo is pacing the perimeter, just like Sylph does, somewhere in the shadows.

Sylph chirps out quietly as they do see someone approaching, but she isn't alarmed, so neither is Lutgarde. Oreo, on the other hand, seems to be a bit confused, neighing to get Lutgarde's attention. "It's alright," Lutgarde stands up, and pats their Rapidash. "We know them."

The Rapidash softly blows into their hand, and nods, letting the issue be and starting to elegantly trot around the area again. They wave, inviting Thea to come closer. "Thea, I didn't expect to see you at this hour. And, here, too ... technically trespassing," they add, but their tone is playful. "You're lucky it was me on guard duty. What brings you here?"

Their eyes remain watchful, still, looking just slightly pass Thea, while Sylv greets the pokémon with a friendly, welcoming coo.

Lutgarde laughs at Thea's sheepish explanation, and shake their head with a grin. "It's alright with me here, so come sit here. Can't say that it's going to be a really peaceful night, however - you're not the only one who's attracted to this tree." It's truly beautiful, but it does also mean ... "I've been tasked with keeping it safe 'till dawn. I'm sure if you wanna help along, they won't mind too terribly?"

Lutgarde returns the greetings with a grin, and also some pets if allowed. Sylv's a bit more on the frontline here, offering cheek rubs and the like, whatever the other would be comfortable with. (They're always a bit surprised at how much this behavior of his could make a 180° when he gets bad vibes; like, it's truly terrifying.)

It seems like Oreo knows exactly when she's spoken about, and her gait turns even more elegant, it seems, as she flies across the grass, maybe adding a little bit of dazzling gleam to it.

"She's a beauty, isn't she? Oreo's her name ... or Oread, not entirely decided," they laugh, "A friend of mine's decided she might be best left with me. He did know I was looking for a pokémon to ride on land, though, so, here we are. I've gotten her as a Rapidash, but I think we get along quite well for the short time."

Lutgarde grins, making a bit more room for Thea to sit. "Oh, but wait ... shouldn't you be sleeping?" It wouldn't be good to mess up one's sleep rhythm at such a young age, even if they know out of experience ... that shit's hard not to mess up at that age, and even now. Lutgarde smiles at Belle's hesitant advances, not hurrying the pokémon, and also doesn't mind that Hammy is keeping a distance. Sylv doesn't mind the shy greeting of Belle either, and is very patient, and would eventually tilt their head a bit in a bow-like gesture as Belle briefly leans against them.

Noh and Garnet greet Belle with a soft hum. Garnet especially seems quite excited about new company, even if she, too, keeps a careful distance as the duo continues their humming, melodious song. Noh is keeping more of a distance, but it seems like he's just being extra cautious not to somehow squish the Minccino by accident, somehow.

Lutgarde couldn't help a chuckle, seeing the territorial fight break out between Zeus and Gominha - they must love Thea very much!

Seeing that Thea shivers slightly, Lutgarde now - hah! - takes off their cloak, and put it over Thea like a blanket. "Wouldn't want you to catch a cold." They are still plenty warm, given the many layers of fabric especially around their upper lower with the many underskirts. "But actually, I think the temperature did drop." And sure enough, Oreo neighs alarmingly, before sending off a Dazzling Gleam into the darkness as a warning shot. Sure enough, some ghost pokémon emerge, and are swiftly hit also by Sylv's Disarming Voice.

"Battling's also a way to get warm, I guess," they laugh as they stand up.

Thea's quick-as-lightning look away seems like the perfect set-up for a "gotcha!", but her reply then makes Lutgarde's face soften. "Yeah, true ... well, don't go to bed when you're not ready for it yet, is what you've definitely not heard from me," they laugh. It's really hard and sometimes even needlessly futile to try and sleep for hours when the mind just doesn't agree. Better to spend time with something else to tire it out and then rest peacefully, but ... well, there is a logic to keeping sleep patterns as well.

Garnet talks with Hammy and Belle excitedly, while keeping her physical distance. Noh is, while shy, also more physically close to the pokémon, being somewhat of a gentle giant bridge between his Milotic friend and the other two pokémon, but not imposing at all with his gentle demeanour. Lutgarde grins as Gominha and Zeus finally settle, but, it might not be for too long.

They smile as Thea now accepted the cloak, leaving them now in the cold, but they do not mind. The cloak has warmed them plenty before, and it's not like they're actually running physically cold - rather the opposite. ... but indeed, it's colder than it should be.

And then, sudden commotion as battle noises emerge from the peaceful quiet. Lutgarde doesn't even really command as the pokémon all jump into action individually. Oreo continues using Dazzling Gleam while Sylv gives his best Disarming Voice. Noh and Garnet both quickly move to the frontlines, protecting Belle especially since Hammy now joined the battle as well.

Noh in particular is surprised for one moment at Hyper Voice being used by someone else, then gives a soft shout at Gominha, before taking a deep breath and launching an impressive Hyper Voice himself. Garnet in the meanwhile uses Captivate, dancing to lower the offense of their opponents. In the background, Lutgarde knows that Sylph's also attacking with what she's got.

"Let's spread out a bit - the circle's a bit hard to keep watch from, but we'll manage!" they say, giving Thea a thumbsup as they move to the other side of the tree, also whistling for some of their pokémon to join them. "They'll likely be coming 'till dawn break, in occasional waves, so whenever you feel like bedtime, feel free to go! Or rest here, and I'll bring you home when the sun comes out." They could not leave the tree before.

Oreo looks at the raging Primeape with a bit of an amused glance, and gives him an appreciative neigh before focusing on their enemies again. She'd also offer him to hop onto her back for additional height if he wanted! Noh is rather surprised to see his attack increased, but he nods towards Belle, and also encourages her to Sing along with him for real if she could. Sylv happily joins arms with Gominha as they both are using Voices to fend off the attacking ghost pokémon, and he also regards Hammy with a grateful pat of one of his ribbons. (Sylph, somewhere, fights off some ghosts before they could even approach closer, always the half-way lonesome hero.)

With their combined efforts, that wave gladly is taken care of quickly, and Lutgarde smiles as they could finally relax a bit again. "That sounds good, I'd love to chat more as well," they grin, "but don't wanna have your dad worried." They'd be quiet until Thea would have sent off the message to her dad, before picking up the conversations from before. They would have expected Thea to fall asleep regardless, but they actually chatted the night away, with interludes by invading ghost pokémon, until the sun rose again.

"Alright, that's it ... there shouldn't be any ghostly invaders for now, and the owner should show up any second ... wanna get breakfast together?" they smile, stifling a bit of a yawn. "I could use a coffee now ..." Luckily, they already see a figure approaching, so there shouldn't be much seperating them from a hearty breakfast!

With each and every wave, the pokémon learned more and better to work with one another, which is a joy to observe and be a part of, Lutgarde thinks with a grin. It's really nice that not only them and Thea were getting along, but also their pokémon.

Lutgarde almost reflexively moves slowly into a more comfortable position for Thea as they feel her head against their shoulder, cautiously adjusting her so she wouldn't suffer from too many backpains once she wakes up again. It's peaceful, and they take a deep (shallow, as to not wake Thea up) breath. The air is crisp and fresh, taking them back to Kalos' countryside.

They try not to give in to the longing for a moment, but eventually let a bit of homesickness settle on them, like a blanket, as they (somewhat awkwardly) lean on Thea, too. They are pensive for once, attracting Sylv's attention who moves over to them to loaf inside their lap.

It's morning, and a new day again. They don't chat for too long with the owner, seeing how they got to get Thea (and themself) a good breakfast after that long night. They grin at Thea's groggy voice, and laugh "Let's go!"
