[break][break]in a blink, the fighting-type is upon the samurott, a perceptibly slower crush claw reaching out, then sharply pulling back. instead, the blaziken lets out an exhausted grunt, throwing its opposite leg, electrified, toward the side of the water-type's head.[break][break]

Greyson would've been disappointed if Aaron had given up—that didn't exactly scream champion material.

Samurott tenses as the Blaziken's focus sharpens, and in a blink, the Fire-type is upon him.

Something prickles at his mind—a sixth sense, or something akin to it—as he watches the CRUSH CLAW descend at a snails pace. Adrenaline floods through him at the realization and, much slower than he'd like, Samurott raises the flat of his blade in defense, but hes too slow.

An electrified kick sends nauseating vibrations through his SHELL ARMOR and into his skull, rattling his thoughts. Samurott finds himself temporarily lifted off the ground and sent spinning a half-a-dozen feet away.

Pushing himself to his feet, blood pooling beneath his armor, he blinks the tears and disorientation away best he could.

"Bene. Are you good?" His trainers look of concerned agitated the swordsman. He didn't need pity. He needed to win.

Staring down Blaziken, maw quirked, he slaps his paw against the dirt as he urges his opponent for an ENCORE. All the while, his grip tightens around his blade.

the kick connects. aaron gasps out a shocked laugh as the samurott is flung away by the blow. his blaziken has neither the energy nor the disrespect to mirror its trainer, watching with silent judgement as its opponent rises once more. [break][break]come, says the gesture it makes with its talons, just as it made at the start of the battle. fight me.[break][break]the water-type slaps the ground, demanding an ENCORE. breathing hard, the fire-type obliges. it closes the two meter gap, then snaps out an electrified kick. [break][break]

Eyes dart to catch a small trace of electricity dancing across bruising flesh.

He was PARALYZED. Just fully, but just enough so that his arm was like moving through molasses as it rises to meet the kick.

It never gets there. The kick sends the Samurott spiraling further, painful scream dying on a throat too pinched to acquiesce.

Bene struggles back to his feet, succeeding at getting to a knee, but that's it. At Aaron's side, Greyson frowns. It's not one of disappointment, but of how dissatisfied he knew the water-type would be.

With an appreciative nod, but nothing else, he returns the Samurott.

"Not bad." He offers in way of compliment.
