"Like a Castform," is slipped out of Cass' mouth before she could hold back that comment. Well, she's not wrong, probably. It still sounds silly to her. Hoping that Cian wouldn't hop onto that, she clears her throat and nods. "I think generally, I got the trust thing-"

She smiles fondly at the Trubbish in her arms, which she lets onto the ground now. Before she could recall him, Minsuk's also dashed forward, ready to enter the battle with all of his, like, 2 gramms. "Min- you know what, sure." (She still worries a bit that she can't, for the life of her, spot Rina's three hairs on the ground.)

And she sees the sand move. "Wait, do you mean like, now-now?" At least both of her pokémon seem ready, even if their opponent might- or might not be a Onix? (Those were huge.)

Cass follows Cian's gaze as he looks at the floating Castform, and smiles a bit as the silly little guys. Maybe she would need to get one of them ... at some point. She's already crowding the garden and her pokéball shelf, so ... and she feels, she might need to properly train.

There's a bit of a relief that they wouldn't need to fight the giant snake. Liliep seems doable - even if ... well. She's nothing if not an underdog fighter.

"Jon, stay back a bit - let Minsuk fight." The little Cutifly seems extremely determined for someone of his size and weightclass, even as the winds and the sandstorm are picking up. "Minsuk. That's gonna be- very interesting, but I believe in you!" And she does. Heck, she'd believe her Trubbish could take on anyone, despite being proven wrong so many times. "Uh, and Mr Maher- be careful uh. There's three steely, sharp hairs somewhere ... I can't find my Alolan Diglett, sorry."

Cass smiles as the Lileep doesn't stop waving friendly at them for a while, not until Cian told her to at least. However, she also has to focus up - only because the pokémon they're fighting is friendly, doesn't mean that this isn't an actual battle, either! And frankly, it also doesn't mean that her own pokémon is actually going into this friendly, either. Much like her Charcadet, Minsuk has a bit of an aggressive streak.

The sand picks up, and Cass moves to take a handkerchief out of her pocket. It does also whet away some of the nervous laughter that Cass now can only faintly pick up on. She, too, however, stays firmly in place. Minsuk does his damnest to stay in place as well, but he literally weighs almost nothing. "Minsuk- let yourself be carried! See if we can use it to our advantage!" she shouts, combating the muffling handkerchief as well as the rising storm.

"Sweet Scent!" She has no idea if it might get swallowed by the sand, but it's worth a try.

A flower-scented sandstorm is bizarre, but maybe also not the weirdest thing in this universe full of strange and stranger things. Cass seems quite pleased as this actually works out - before she frowns with worry as Cian breathes in some of the sand trying to figure out the scent.

"Are you alright?" she asks, before agreeing with a nod, "I think it's that new one ... that cherry-blossom cedar one I think." It's definitely an improvement from before - seems like working with Martin and his aromatherapy worked wonders!

However. Minsuk isn't here to play, as s/he has never left the Lilieep out of sight. Still, the Energy Ball hits them square in the face, sending them onto another tumble as they simply are too small and light to dodge. Frustrated, they seem to throw hands, before Cass' voice pierces through the raging storm. "Silver Wind! Try that!" They can't spend much trying to aim right now - so better to try and just hit everything.

The little bug type starts buzzing ferociously, with a power surprising for someone of their size, and the air turns a bit silver.

Cass gives a thumbs-up, not daring to speak up as the sandstorm mixes with the Silver Wind, and waits until the Giga Drain did its work, letting the silvery winds cease and the storm calm ever so slightly.

Minsuk is looking worse for wear, and he-they wouldn't really manage to survive it too long, probably. "Focus! You got this!" Cass tries to shout over the storm, with her sleeve muffling her immensely. Still, Minsuk seems to register her words, stealing themself. "... yeah, let's just go for it, Moon Blast! Make it big!"

The Cutiefly is incredibly small. Still, the glow around them grows to many times their size - and it's still growing, indicating this would definitely be the last move they'd do in this battle. "Now!" Cass shouts, squinting and seeing that the glow might falter at its edges - any bigger, and it would just collapse into itself.

The blast is a wacky adventure with the sandstorm throwing the lightweight pokémon around, but Minsuk does their best to aim at the opponent.

Cass is relieved as the sandstorm comes to an end. She's still baffled that Misuk landed her mark, just before she's sunk to the ground, just a little speck of dust that's been highlighted by a certain Alolan Diglett. "Ah, there you were, Rina!" she teases, before recalling the fairy.

As Cian approaches her, she reflexively reaches a hand out to shake- wait, is this the correct thing to do? "Thanks, this was a very interesting experience ... and who knows, maybe I will?" She actually smiles a little bit, feeling a bit more assured - resting a bit more easy with the storm brewing in her mind.
