Extracting information from other's through interrogative means such as this wasn't Tori's forte. She was much better with her hands and committing acts for violence than anything else.

[break][break] With how difficult the captive was being she was quickly reminded how easy it would be to snap each of his fingers till he caved.

[break][break] With a sigh she watched as her partner attempted to work her magic.

In the acting industry, particularly for a woman, knowing how to schmooze yourself with the higher ups was essential in finding stardom. Circe considered herself an expert at sweet talk for that reason. But it seemed no amount of seduction would way their prisoner. Circe could only flaunt herself so much before she grew tired of the act.[break][break]

So when Victoria Beckett asked for her opinion, she responded without hesitation. "Good boys like him need roughing up." Her eyes flashed with villainous intentions. "We'll make him talk."[break][break]

After a few moments, the duo returned to the cell. The air around them had changed. There was no more time for pleasantries.[break][break]

Circe procured a pokeball. From it, a venonat appeared atop the table. The bug-eyed creature stood directly across from the tired man.[break][break]

"You should know better than to test the patience of a lovely lady, let alone two," Circe said in her honey-crisp tone, so sickly sweet one knew she could only mean bad business. "You will tell us what we want to know."

Victoria couldn't hide the grin that spread to the corner's of her lips. She was glad her partner was on the same page as her.

[break][break] The League official had seen better days. He was clearly just as exhausted as they were but...he was putting on a brave face.

[break][break] Tori let her partner begin the work as dangerously dark hues stayed trained on the official.

[break][break] But they were getting nowhere. The official seemed emboldened, so much so to have the audacity to begin to question them.

[break][break] A dark and sinister chuckle escaped Victoria's lips as she blew the smoke from her cigarette into the air.

[break][break] "Because, little lamb," Tori hummed as she circled around him and placed a firm hand on his shoulder.

[break][break] "If you don't then your family will. Quite simple really." She grinned as she took another long drag from her cigarette.

[break][break] "You're really in no position to negotiate with us." Tori said smoothly as she blew the smoke in the officer's face.

[break][break] "Either you tell us while we're asking nicely, or we kill ya." She continued as she sat on the table.

[break][break] Her violet hues twinkled with amusement and expectation. "We'll make it nice and slow. And then afterwards we'll go after everyone you love and care for."

Her venonat watched the man with unflinching, red-speckled eyes as Victoria delivered her onslaught of threats. Meanwhile, Circe had circled around him, drawing slender fingers across his shoulder. She wondered if his pride had been damaged by the doing of two unyielding women, or if perhaps he was secretly enjoying their torture.[break][break]

The man seemed to shrink in his seat, but still, no words surfaced. Circe signaled her venonat.[break][break]

Luna's eyes lit a faint blue, and that same blue outlined the man's figure. The DISABLE would cause his muscles to jerk and twitch out of the human norm.[break][break]

"You must think you're some sort of hero for withholding information from us, but from where we stand, you simply look like a fool, clinging to his pathetic life." Circe rounded the man to stand beside the seated Victoria. She crossed her arms. "That's enough."[break][break]

Luna released the DISABLE to allow the man his opportunity to speak.[break][break]

"Do you want to do the honors?" Circe spoke to Victoria, in case the man continued to defy them.

He takes a moment to process the pain and think over how to respond, weighing the heavy burden of treason versus personal survival in his mind. The man's anxiety is obvious in the way he picks at his cuticles while he internally deliberates, causing them to bleed a stark red against the dull gray all around. [break][break]

The thing about 'good cop' vs. 'bad cop' was knowing just when to push and when to ease up. While Victoria could care less about what happens to the poor looser, they needed information.

[break][break] If she performed incorrectly then they could lose out on precious information and then they would have to suffer the consequences.

[break][break] Perhaps it was because of how tense she'd been lately, but she wouldn't want to fail on something this easy either.

[break][break] With a wave of her hand she signaled for Circe to lay off for a moment. She'd take a different approach.

[break][break] "So, what do you say?" Tori asked as she smoothly slid off the desk.

[break][break] "How about you work with us?" Tori said as she gently began to massage his tense shoulders. "After all, we treat our own quite well."

[break][break] She hummed lightly as she continued to work her magic. "Wouldn't it be easier to get along than to suffer?"

[break][break] With a firm hand on his shoulder she turned his chair to face her.

[break][break] "I can tell you're a good guy. You wouldn't want anyone else to get hurt because of you would you?"

[break][break] "So here's what we'll do. You agree to corporate with us and we'll insure your safety. Hell, I can even cook up a way for you to get drop back off to your loved ones. No strings attached."

[break][break] With her hands on her hip she looked at him smugly. "If you don't trust me, trust my pull at least. I have quite a bit of influence." Half-truths mixed with lies was something of a skill for her.

Circe would have loved to laugh in that moment, but it would have given away the false promises. Instead, she remained quiet, letting Victoria sweet-talk the prisoner onto their side. But both her and her venonant stood, watching him with unflinching eyes, forever intimidating him. The added pressure would either help sway him to speak, or double-down and refuse.[break][break]

Circe gently pet at the venonat's head while they waited for the man to give his answer. If they were successful and lucky, he'd deliver information worthy to the organization. In his final moments, the very least he could do was be useful to them.
