All of them avatars, all of them worthy. Elite Three or four or two, it hardly mattered. Each one dead would be a major blow to Rocket's morale, even if they were pillars in the war against the real enemy.

MATIAS SILPH deserved a higher bounty for killing Kyle. A personal vendetta from beyond the grave would be good. Navy as well, even if the admin did not want him to fall.

He was needed.

"Yumi is good. Admin Fox worked with her once or twice." Howard frowned as he recalled the party in December. "She's very reliable."

"Kinda feels weird. Yumi's an executive but she ain't exactly in deep the way we are." She could probably keep paying her share and managing Rocket's casino forever. And that ship would sink, and the people who threw everything into it, those who slaved at the bottom would drown while those with little commitment fled to lifeboats to sail away from the great experiment that was Team Rocket.

Hitoshi would run. Howard would try, but the admin suspected that he would be grabbed by the ankle.

"She'll run. The brave will stay and fight, but I'd rather they not fight in some pointless war. When the real enemy comes..." Howard looked up and exhaled through his nose. "I only want the best."

The dog regards howard slayte for a long time. He regards him very well. All the easy smiles leave him and he stands up straighter, looking more man than beast. His amber eyes search him over, trying to find something there, trying to decide whether he should trust this man he considers a friend or not. Trust is hard earned and so easily kicked into the dirt once given.[break]
"My enemy's Chien-Pao." He finally says before going back to looking across the island. He pulls up a screaming ancient Pokemon, bops it in the head to silence it, and throws it into a pokeball for summary transportation.[break]

"Good luck." Howard didn't sound doubtful. He rarely mocked the foolishness of other dreams and goals, as long as people strove to reach for them. If Hitoshi tried to slay Chien-Pao, Howard would respect him regardless of his success.

It was a luxury he could not spare for himself.

"That why you joined S.P.E.C.T.R.A? Or was that just a convenient extra benefit?"

Logic dictated that he tell Jayden about this plan, but it was not his point to interfere. Jayden would fight. Hitoshi would fight. Whoever's will was stronger would win.
