They're cruising along a mostly vacant stretch of road somewhere in the central part of Sootopolis. Adrian's starmobile, as yet to be named, rumbles beneath them with the hum of three engines. There's not much else Adrian needs than this. Maybe something blaring on the radio...[break][break]

But the radio was turned off for now.[break][break]

"So... How long have you been with Team Rocket?" They were between tasks with time to spare, and with the undertaking of Project Tower and other pivotal war preparations, Adrian had been interacting with a more diverse cast of Rocket personnel. Tangaroa was one of them.[break][break]

It wouldn't kill him to learn more about him.

"I'm not" Hunu responded, elbow resting on a railing as he overlooked the bustling road that they traversed. He was somewhat honest, he was more a muscle for hire than a fully fledged member however the brute from Alola was worth every cent. Emzar truly believed he would play a pivotal part and focal in the main mission for Rocket, and overall become a valued necessity. Still, he felt he needed to give the man a response. Shaking his chest a little as he bellowed a laugh.

"But, I've done a few odd jobs for Rocket. I've met a few characters, such as Howwy." He admitted, as he dusted his hands off. Turning around to face the man with a hum, rolling his large neck in circles as he leaned against the railing. Patting the iron for a bit. "So, what kind of Freak of Nature do you call this?"

Howwy? He wonders who he means by that—probably howard slayte—but it strikes a chord with him. A confused wrinkle in his brow eventually smoothes over, and he's able to pick up where the conversation left off.[break][break]

A few odd jobs, huh...?[break][break]

If only he'd managed to keep that kind of distance. It may have suited him. But rather than ruminating over it, he's quick to engross himself in the current discussion—despite their tone.[break][break]

"This?" Adrian gestures to the car.[break][break]

"It's a SEGIN STARMOBILE."[break][break]

Whatever that was supposed to mean...[break][break]

Adrian hadn't picked it for the name. And he had certainly opted out of the flashy neon abomination that was the base model.[break][break]

Instead, he'd gone for a slick black frame built for muscle—not unlike a '69 Charger—but with several pending modifications. Specifically, the Varoom and Revavroom peaking out from under the frame, integrated into the chassis. As he ran a hand over the paint, the engine revved itself. [break][break]

He was still waiting for more parts to beef up the exterior, specifically some hub caps and a bumper with some teeth to it, if the thing was going to be used for any true battling.[break][break]

"I take it you're not a fan?"

Hunu hummed, as he rested in his spot. He raised an eyebrow at the man, as they gave the answer to what kind of Pokemon it was. However, what intrigued him was the fact that the other man seemed to have mistaken him. Shaking his head, and a wave of his hand. The trainer huffed. "I meant it as a compliment, it's against everything nature intended. It's foundation is crude, therefore strong. The contrary. I want one." The Alolan responded, he allowed the wind to woft against his long luxurious hair.

Despite barely being a fully implemented member, Hunu was arguably one of the most energetic soldiers for the Team Rocket. He was violent, and worth dozens of men alone. He wanted to get his hands on everything, both arms folded over his chest as his mouth widened like a bear. He yawned, and licked his teeth. "What's your thought on Legendary Pokemon, hm?" He enquired, giving an almost judgmental stare.

"Oh, really? Well maybe we can figure that out sometime." He can't help the slight grin tugging at the corner of his mouth. Few seemed to share this guilty pleasure—he hoped to sell Hunu on the idea, if he could. Though it seemed they were already sold.[break][break]

Running his hand along the metal, he loses himself to adoration for a moment, but the jarring remark manages to snap him back from his little daydream. Legendary pokemon...?[break][break]

Adrian seems a little put off his stride.[break][break]

"...They're strong. Sometimes overrated," he manages to respond curtly.[break][break]

It's a reasonably touchy subject for him. Still, he manages to give Emzar an authentic answer, turning to face him with a deadpan:[break][break]

"Most pokemon pay their trainers heed. The greater legends make demands of us." It went against the typical nature of the relationships between a trainer and their pokemon—it wasn't necessarily a bad thing—but they were not quite as wieldy.[break][break]

Adrian seems reluctant to turn his attention away from the adulating he gives the segin starmobile, but he manages to give Tangaroa a last piece of advice: "If you're hoping to use them, just be mindful of which ones you try striking bargains with..." Find your terms.[break][break]

And never allow them to be shaped against you.

The behemoth of a man hummed, leaning back in his place as his fire type enjoyed the warmth of the seat. He thought for a moment, he truly believed that these amalgamations of Pokemon were unneeded. If anything, they impeded his goal to reshape Hoenn into a war filled battlefield. Not that it wasn't already, but he truly hoped to make it so it was.. an endless cycle.

He dragged his arm across the steel type's railing, before holding his chin up with the palm of his hand. Looking out over the distance for a moment, he whistled gently against the wind. "I hate them, I hope to live in an age where each Titan and Deity suffer the consequence of challenging us. We were born to inherit the stars, and to steal their gifts." He responded bluntly, before looking forward. Arms crossed. "The Tapus? Especially the ones who have migrated from my home? I'll be the one to shackle them."

"...You're with the right people, then." Adrian didn't agree with their worldly view, but he knew it was exactly the sort of angle Team Rocket worked from. If he didn't count himself among them, he would soon. It was a perfect fit.[break][break]

Though, it makes him uncomfortable.[break][break]

"The Tapus? So you followed them?"[break][break]

To his memory, many of them were in League custody. It's just as well, then; his ambitions did not come at odds with Team Rocket's own agenda. They could serve each other's interests, mutually. They just had to help him find that right place, at the right time... And see what happened.[break][break]

"You'll want to keep tabs on the League avatars, then. Some of them are in possession of Tapus."[break][break]

Hunu laughed at the man's words of reinforcement, he was with the right people? "KUMOMOMOMOMO! Is that so? Well, you guys have gained a weapon far greater than these 'Gods'" He bursted out into deranged laughter, as he laid a heavy slap against the door of the vehicle as they drove across the roads of Hoenn. He slapped the roof of his own mouth with a audible, 'pop'. He took this moment to hum, as he rose an eyebrow at the man's words. Keep tabs on the league? Why would he do that?

"Maybe so, but what's the point in that? My presence alone, and my goals will inherit an Era of pure violence. The region of Hoenn, will be reduced to nothing but a wasteland where only the strong survive. Soon enough, they will come to ME." Tangaroa grinned, as he reached out and tried to give the Rocket Member a reassuring rub on the shoulder. "Let's make Hoenn a place, that the leaguers could never dream of returning it back to it's state." Hunu hummed, almost as if his little sentence was a means to evade Adrian's question on if he truly did try and track the Tapus here.
