The Mad Dog's presence made Shalin want to roll her eyes, especially with that horrific grin on his face. It was a grin that meant he was clearly up to no good. "Dorian..." the Captain trailed off as she slowly got to her feet. There was no threat of her escaping; she wasn't leaving without everything Rocket stole from her. Her Pokémon, her Sygna Suit... all of it. All she needed was her Sygna Suit and her Flygon, and she could rock the entire prison with furious vibrations that would leave Dorian and the other wardens numb.

"I do," the frustrated girl scowled. "What do you want?"

Shalin hadn't been on a Pokémon since she rode Fezandipiti at Petalburg, falling under the Loyal Three's charm as a result. Dorian knew her well, though it wasn't hard to, what with how distinct the young Captain's Sygna Suit was. It bestowed upon her a unique fighting style that turned any blade or claw she wielded into a living hacksaw, cutting into its foe dozens of times per second.

And now, that power was in Rocket's terrifying hands... if she knew how to use it. "...You're welcome," she heaved a facetious sigh. "But I doubt there's enough room in here. Are you taking me some place else?"

She indeed noticed that the Tauros was wearing a cocoon saddle. This type of gear was meant for a flying Pokémon, to be able to keep the rider safe in the event of a high bank angle or even a complete reversal. It also served the same purpose as training wheels for land Pokémon. "Not uncommon for Tauros, which is why I haven't raised one myself yet. I guess I'll... have to get familiar." She would wait for Dorian to open her cell and lead her wherever the Mad Dog felt was appropriate...

The moment Shalin felt the wrapping of a cocoon around her, one designed for flying Pokémon, she knew Dorian wasn't trying to simply keep her spirits up. Tauros was one of those Pokémon that putting a cocoon on was an awful idea. Part of what made being on a bucking Pokémon's back not only viable, but fun for her, was being tossed around in her seat, often being airborne longer than being seated on the strong, writhing creature itself. Harnessed to the Tauros, she was in constant contact with it.

With no way to protect herself from the Tauros' bucking and pitching about, she would be absorbing the black bull's full strength. Strength further stoked by the raging creature's FLARE BLITZ. "Whew, he's got a lot of fight!" Shalin exhaled, enjoying herself for the moment... but she knew all it took would be one perfectly-executed heave to overwhelm her.

The FLARE BLITZ was all about getting up to speed and making Shalin sweat. She was still enjoying herself, even through the start of the THRASHING... until the Tauros heaved upward directly beneath her with enough force to dislodge her. It easily would have, were it not for the cocoon she was strapped into. The enormous force stretched her limbs in ways that they weren't designed. The hooting and hollering ceased, replaced with pure focus, as though she were trying to capture a wild Pokémon by riding it until it became exhausted.

Her knuckles turned white from how tightly she gripped the fire-type bovine. Had she not ridden Eduardo Hisakawa 's Beau, she would have been hurting by now. Though it was uncertain who had more strength, being held fast to dorian westcliff 's Pokémon made his feel a lot stronger. She hissed at a second powerful heave directly beneath her. Yeow, that was some strength the black bull had!

Shalin was relieved when the Tauros finally had tired himself out. That bull had a lot of buck to him! "He was a lot..." Shalin winced as she was carried to her feet, feeling a thump in her spine from absorbing the strength of the bovine's muscles. "...a bit much for me at the end, but most of the time, it was fun! You made my day," she admitted, having longed for such a rodeo.

She would begin to eat her words as she saw the harness attached to the giant Volcarona's wing. Strapping to a Tauros was one thing; the Pokémon was strong enough that he likely barely felt it. Impeding the flight appendage of a Volcarona, though? Sygna technology, particularly her own suit, was what made the feat of balancing on a bug-type's wing possible.

Shalin stared at Dorian in disbelief as she was forced into the special harness keeping her in constant contact with the bug-type's warm wing. "Where's my Sygna Suit at? You know I can't do this without my Sygna Suit, right? Riding like this without one is harmful to the Pokémon, too." Without the suit, the Volcarona's wing would be bearing Shalin's full weight instead of a fraction of it...

Shalin wasn't so sure. Volcarona wings were sturdier than the chitin ones she sat upon when flying with her Beedrill or Yanmega, but were they enough to be able to not be overstressed without her Sygna Suit reducing her load on them? As the fire-type bug stretched his wings outward, it was clear Dorian's Pokémon possessed extraordinary strength beyond even what Sol, her Shiny Volcarona, had. "I have my--"

Her protests were cut off when the fluttering began. Being used to hovering above the wing when on it, the silent flapping was already out-of-body for the girl. At Dorian's command to BUG BUZZ, an intense "kick" of the wings made Shalin scream -- though her voice was heavily distorted from both the buzzing noise and how rapidly she was being flung up and down. Her exposed skin slowly turned red, particularly around where the harness kept her in place. There was no point in trying to wriggle free; if it was strong enough to keep her in place while the wing hummed beneath her, she wasn't going to be able to budge it.

The last time she had ridden like this without her Sygna Suit was inside the Mirage Palace, where Julia Davis was there to wake her from being knocked out cold. This time, she had no such guardrail; numbness crawled up her limbs as Dorian's Volcarona impressively maintained the buzzing. Were her nerves not screaming at her, she might have enjoyed it!
