Its been awhile since he has been able to actually escape from his pokeball. When the thunder stuck his trainer's body his pokeball hasn't been working for over a week and its made the meowstic antsy. Especially when he didn't know what happened to his trainer. It was just one moment they were there and another they were not. He has been told by both human and his other pokemon that Razz was dead but Salem knew different. He has been connected to his human for 13 long years and he could tell his emotions before Razz understood him, he could tell when his trainer was near him, and he could sure as hell tell when his trainer was flipping dead or not. [break][break]

While it brought comfort to some of Razz's pokemon, the other half seemed in doubt and it has caused some problems. There was much worry about their home that FERNANDO SILPH had allowed their trainer to live in. There was the Slateport Ranger Base as while half of the Pawniard and Bisharp there were devastated by their Captain's dead, the other half's loyalty was to the Ranger cause itself. So the pokemon there were not working at full capacity or in full unity. What of their home in Sootopolis?[break][break]

And this has been his and his sister's business to deal with for how long now? 2/3 weeks? Honestly the meowstic was exhausted, but there was another matter than needed to be looked into. Which was why he was here in Oldale and is at the hospital. Salem using PSYCHIC to fly to the windows as he looks for someone. He passes by several windows not seeing Eris and going to the next... WAIT![break][break]

He flies back to one room with an open window and sees a family celebrating a birthday and he is quick to steal himself a slice of cake before moving onto the next window until he finally found who he wanted. The psychic cat opening the window with his abilities before he jumps in and lands on the foot of Eris Halla's bed with a 'ta-da' kind of meow with a slice of cake in one hand and ouija board tangled between his tails.

Instead, their eyes are far more fixated on the cake the Meowstic holds, a soft chirrup and an outstretched hand indicating that he must pay the tax.[break][break]

As for Eris, she merely looks up from her book, requiring a moment to process just who entered and what they would possibly want out of her.[break][break]

"Salem?" There is a glimmer of hope that hasn't been seen in those eyes for a while. "Where's Razz?"

Salem is quick to bring a paw up to tell the legend to hold it. Because treats got shared on his watch, well normally not they would go to him but he knows what his trainer would've wanted as he splits the cake and gives part of it to the psychic as he leaves the rest for Eris. [Break][break]

Though like many others her first question is the same as everyone else's and Salem places the Ouija board between them before spelling out: -I-D-K [BREAK][break]

There is a sad and almost lost look in the cat's eyes having to say this. He knows he'll eventually start looking but control had to happen first.

Salem is quick to shake his head. He would be the first to know if his trainer was dead but he also doesn't know where to look or how to describe with only the board. [Break][break]

Eventually he attempts to react a fight between his trainer and another, or at least make it clear and Salem pretends to fight himself before knocking out. After he falls to the bed from being 'knocked out' he moves back to the board. [Break][break]

"He fought a Rocket." That's the only group she can figure him fighting that would leave his disappearance unexplained. The League has many monsters of its own, but Razz is by no means the kind to fight them without proper reason and vanish. "Who was he facing?"

He touched his nose to inform her that she was correct. Though he doesn't yet answer about who because while he knows different there was an official story.[break][break]

[Break][break]He widen his eyes and then moves his hands as if looking through binoculars before he looks around the room for something before he just picks up a flower to use as a person. Before he hits it then his body looks as if he is being shocked before falling again. [Break][break]

Again he moves to the board s-a-y d-e-a-d he wishes he could properly say more but no one understands him the way his trainer did. So his communication is slower.

If he isn't straight up answering, that means there must be more to the story than just fighting. Tired as she may be, there is a fuse in her that burns solely for her family. And people will come to realise that it is rather short if it is ever lit.[break][break]

He puts up one claw and touches his nose again to confirm the 1st one on people assuming his trainer was dead. He has heard it said as there were witnesses but of course Salem denies it. His problem is people believing him thankfully Eris does though it seems that his long winded explanation wasn't helping anything. [Break][break]

He needs the moment to think as he understood plenty of words but spelled anything not simple was difficult for him, yet he goes back to the board and answers. [Break][break]

But she is one that tends to believe in the softer parts of a Rocket's heart.[break][break]

Salem nods his head and taps his nose and points at her as she got the name correct, though at the mention of Reshiram he has to ponder. Salem knows the White Stone was used to force his trainer into agreeing to work with the Underboss. Yet he wasn't sure if that was the reason. Reshiram hasn't been a part of his trainer in months so why now? [break][break]

Is written once more and with that Salem looks some what dejected as its clear he has no clue where to actually start outside of just telling those close to him. Let them at least know he's alive, Salem just doesn't know in what condition.

He is surprised as Eris tries to get up, but the pain she is in doesn't go unnoticed. It's only now that he looks around and realizes that Reiner wasn't there. Salem knows of the wars, though he doesn't know the full details. He's been trapped in his pokeball too long, having to deal with the rest of his trainer's pokemon. He had been so worried about trying to get ideas about finding his trainer that he was over looking Eris' emotions. Just as how he was looking over some of the emotions of the pokemon back home and thinks maybe he needs to slow down.[break][break]

If only a little. [break][break]

Salem would use his psychic to push her back down before he would climb up on her. Be that cat pokemon that chooses you as a seat and make you feel obliged that you have to stay there to not disturb the kitteh. Head down against her as he would breath slowly, even purr some. A tactic he would often use in order to force Razz to slow down and calm himself. And he would do so with Eris to, and if she tried to protest he would just hug harder and meow in a 'shush' kind of way. [break][break]

They needed to slow down.

[attr="class","eris109"]Tunnel vision. Her racing mind latched onto that singular thought of saving Razz allowed all the other thoughts to whip by and simply blur into the background.[break][break]

"What are you-"[break][break]

But as Salem pushes her down, as he rests upon her chest and tries to get her to breathe, her view widens and it all comes back into focus. The shock impaled within her chest, just barely enough to numb the grief that Razz might really be gone. Doused a little by the hope she grasps from Salem's word. Seeping further into her bones as she realises just what that means, just how much time has passed.[break][break]

"Salem, we have to-"[break][break]

She had seen what they did to Melody Miro. And she wasn't a traitor to Rocket like he was.[break][break]

"We have to tell them."[break][break]

Her voice shakes. Salem's outline quietly wavers in her halved vision.[break][break]
