The sudden arrival gave the boy quite a jump, his Orbeetle considerably more composed - and annoyed, for it had been pushed to the ground by the Metagross's sudden Gravity.
Though mobility wouldn't be too important for the latter; the Orbeetle was only here to observe, advise - and maintain the facade.
"W-what?" the boy said, the confusion clear in his voice. "What do you mean 'Titans'? I'm just here making sure Rockets aren't causing trouble."
Though it wasn't hard to guess what this guy was; suddenly attacking a kid out of nowhere didn't leave too many options.
Must be a Rocket.
He wasn't, but that information wasn't important to share.
"And whatever you're talking about," he said, producing a Pokeball, "I can tell you're up to no good. So…I'll stop you!" The ball was a clean, fresh, basic Pokeball; clearly one that hadn't seen much use, but was very well-maintained. He clearly cared for this one, even if he didn't use it much.
He tossed the ball ahead - a clean toss, despite the intensified gravity, the ball letting out the Golurk within. The golem was clearly less affected by the intensified gravity than the Orbeetle, and it was ready to show it.
"Golurk, Mud-Slap'em!" he ordered.
This one knew how to utilize type advantage, and knew what moves the Pokemon he was given had. Reluctant as he was, this one could reasonably command Pokemon if needed.
The Golurk did as ordered, reaching into the ground and tossing a pile of mud straight at the Metagross.
