Delving into the simulated world, the landscape was quick to change and take shape. An island ravaged by fighting, Pokémon attacks and manmade weapons alike, surrounded by tumultuous sea and a deep, dark storm that loomed in the distance, encroaching quickly. It felt almost similar to Mossdeep from those weeks ago...[break][break]
"I guess we try to make it across and help the Dragonite," Yuina wondered, sat across Harrow's shoulders as a dragonite holding a messenger's bag scanned the area, searching for the best route across the battle torn island. They would have to hurry too before the storm came through.

The blonde has only visited the RKS system one time before. While young, Lydia had never been trusting of technology. Even her cell phone was carried only out of a sense of necessity. It felt invasive. Or, worse, tempting. Like the berry Giratina offered to the progenitors of man. Still, there was a demand for people to explore this virtual world.

And, while here, the pains in her joints and shoulders disappeared. It was like she hadn’t worn herself to the (literal) bone by playing GI Joan for almost a decade. This place made her feel useful.

“I don’t zink we have a choice.” The blonde shouts up at her partner from the back of her Lycanroc. A gentle prod from her foot sends the wolf leaping away from a falling light pole. Sparks erupt around them as Lydia leans over its back.

The race across the war torn landscape was treacherous, but not impossible, keeping pace with the Dragonite and her partner on the ground below. Attacks were volleyed, blows were redirected, but through all the peril overtaking the island, they made it.[break][break]
The Dragonite held its message after drawing it out of the bag, and Yuina looked first to whom she was working with.[break]
"Thanks for the ground support," she offered, they'd been able to cover both fronts that could have taken the Dragonite as she moved towards someone coming towards them both for the message.[break][break]
Yuina faltered for only a moment, a perfect visage in soft pink coming towards her, her angel, thankful for the message. She had to remind herself implicitly that this was all just a simulation, that nothing in the world was as it seemed, but it felt real enough that Yuina felt a tug at her heartstrings finding her in a place like this.
