Remiel had always had a particular affinity for cats. They kept their distance. They were never as needy as dogs. Primarily because they were so independent by nature.

The one staring at him from the branch above, however, was quite creepy. Out of all the cats in the world of pokémon, only Alolan Persian seemed to annoy him more than Meowstic. Particularly because of their obnoxiously large heads and attitude. Eventually, he decided to move on and pay the creep no mind.

He’d reached it. The center of the forest. And he was surprised to find a wide gaping hole that lead into the cavernous depths beneath.

He was more surprised, however, to see a strangely colored Woobat emerge out from that pool of darkness. It seemed to fail and sense his presence as it flew over him and into the forest. Before it got too far, however, Remiel unclipped his last safari ball and cast it.
