Willow basked in the arid evening sun with nary a disruption, its vibrant red leaves fanning out over branches of pallid ivory as it stood dormant over its patch. It had been charged with its protection for quite some time without incident, and had grown fond of these peaceful, tranquil moments. And then all at once this evening was ruined as the ruddy silhouette of an intruder slithered its way towards the patch, Willow's deep-rooted tendrils feelings the soil shuddering beneath the weight of this diminutive yet loathsome creature come to plunder its hoard. The soil began to stir all around, startling the creeping, sneaking Buizel...
A swath of roots did emerge, grasping at the Buizel in a tangle of vines as its growth allowed it to overwhelm the pokemon with the sheer scale of its branches. Resist as it might, Willow was able to find purchase against its form, dragging it against the earth and leeching its life for its own, barbed growths the conduit of its horn leech's effect.More than aware of the danger now, the Buizel began to struggle against the confines of this flora gaol, sharpening the razor wind to lacerate Willow's binding growths and jetting away in a burst of aquatic propulsion. Willow remained. A lone purple orb did now shoot open, its resting eye now alert, leering at the trespasser intensely. The earth trembled as its roots dug through the underground, creating a labyrinth as the Buizel yet eyed its prize, wary of the garden's protector. And then it promptly scampered off elsewhere. Fending off; don't make me go Gran Torino...
