The blade came out from a location neither the Claydol nor it master had expected. Before either could really react, it had soared across the sky in an attempt to stab the Claydol. And it had reached its target... though not quite so successfully. In a desperate attempt to weaken it, or cut it in half, the sentient sword continued to try and Slash its much larger opponent to ribbons. But to no avail.

Though it had allowed such a test of its defense to continue for longer than it normally would have, eventually Hammurabi retaliated. Using a powerful Psychic that made all of its eyes glow, it unleashed a surge of telekinetic energy that absolutely decimated the floating sword. It shuddered in the air like a broken machine, then fell to the ground in a clatter of noise. Before long, Remiel walked up to the fallen sword and tapped an empty safari ball against it.

Mad with power it gained from the sun, a tyrannical Charmander stood on the rooftop of a nearby dilapidated building and cackled. It had spotted the Claydol and its master approaching from afar. It would have fun teaching these fools not to encroach on its domain again!

Glowing with a hazy orange light, the Charmander summoned a small cluster of rocks from the earth below before sending them flying towards the clay owl like comets. It took the blows with ease, however, then retaliated with a Psychic that lifted up the little lizard... before bringing it back down hard. Crashing through the ceiling of the building, the Charmander might have waddled out its front doors... if the entire building hadn't collapsed on it shortly thereafter. Remiel and Hammurabi moved on when it did.

Another Honedge. And, as it would appear, his final catch for the day. The sun hadn't even begun to set, however, so he would purchase another ticket and return after this encounter. With a snap of his fingers, he pointed towards the sentient sword dancing in the air, sending his ominous Claydol flying towards it immediately.

One powerful Psychic later, the blade was at the black-haired royal's feet in a clatter of noise. He withdrew the last safari ball at his disposal, dropped to a crouch, and pressed it against the blade. Afterwards, he waited to see whether it would stay put.
