The Safari Zone had, yet again, introduced a new territory to explore. And, after several reports of Falinks and Honedge in the area, the black-haired royal was prompted to purchase the finest ticket money could buy and enter. There was a plan in place. One that would likely require repeat visits. And he'd brought his newly acquired Claydol to help ensure it went by smoothly.

The multi-eyed clay totem floated behind him faithfully: a living radar system with its 360 degree vision as they searched for the pokémon in question. They traveled through a dusty terrain filled with the remnants of warehouses and factories, now half-buried in the sand and dirt. Further ahead, ancient canyons and ruins could be seen faintly in the sand, too... a view that was soon interrupted.

The Charmander hiding behind a rock is suddenly ripped out from its stony cover, held aloft in the air with Psychic by the powerful Claydol that had discovered it. As it flails around and swings its tail, casting a Scary Face at the unnatural pokémon and its master, Remiel watches the lizard. When he's decided it isn't worth their time, he casts a lazy gesture before walking off.

Hammurabi casts the Charmander away without a care before following the royal. The little fire lizard, in the meantime, crashes into the sand afar before staggering back up onto both feet. It turns towards them from afar, snorting fire out of its nose before it, too, walks away.

The first of many slid beneath the rusted wreckage of a car in an attempt to hide. It had been spotted by the floating clay owl in the sky, and the sound of its unnatural hum had alerted the sentient sword to its discovery. The car it had hid beneath, unfortunately, was blown into the sky by an Earth Power.

As the Honedge attempted to fly away, it was effectively frozen in mid-air with a powerful Psychic. It struggled, even attempting to cast a Shadow Sneak to pull itself out of the telepathic grip. Unfortunately, the act only worsened the Psychic and caused it great pain. Enough to make its single eye shudder. Remiel was quick to cast a safari ball and put it out of its misery.

Common carvings. Rudimentary script. Some ancient builder's plaything, or practice project. While Golett and Golurk were certainly marvels of ancient technology, Remiel had yet to see one in the wild that caught his interest enough to bother catching it.

When one awoke from the small crater it had been slumbering in, uncurling from the boulder-shape sit it had formed itself into long prior, it only turned around just in time to see the man and his Claydol leaving. Confused by the sense of dread that had come over it, the Golett waited to see if they would come back. They never did.

An phalanx of small, rotund pokémon marched out from the entrance to a dilapidated warehouse. When they large clay owl hovering in the sky spotted their presence with its many eyes and emitted an alarm-like hum, the small troop all flinched before readying themselves for battle. They charged at the owl in single file, then leaped to try and stab it with a Mega Horn.

Unfortunately for them, the owl in question stopped them in mid-air with a thrumming Psychic, then promptly slammed them down into the ground. Knocked out of formation and dazed, they struggled to get back up. Before they could, however, Remiel cast a safari ball that enveloped them all like a net.

A Shieldon bursted out from the old warehouse doors of a factory, and immediately attempted to run after spotting the Claydol and its trainer. The attempt would go in vain, however, when it was suddenly and violently struck by an Earth Power. Unfortunately, the move proved to be far too explosive.

The little dinosaur was sent flying into the sky and out of sight. Remiel calmly watched it soar. When it disappeared over a canyon, however, he sighed and walked off.

The dark silhouette approaching them from the horizon never wavered. It never made any move to get out of the way or hide. And, eventually, it stood before them: a Farfetch'd with a massive leek and steely eyes. Remy narrowed his eyes at it. The Claydol hovered above them both, calmly waiting.

Then, without word, the Farfetch'd continued walking. Its relaxed waddle moved it past the Galarian royal and the floating clay doll above. As it continued, it would yet again become a silhouette. Slow and steady.

There was certainly something unnatural about a Charmander with the preternatural ability to command ancient rock. If one hadn't suddenly attacked Hammurabi with the Ancient Power, Remiel might not have otherwise believed such a thing was possible. But there it was: eyes glowing a complete white as it summoned more ancient rock from a nearby ledge.

The attack that had connected proved to do little damage to his Claydol, however. With a point and a command, Remiel would see that this freak of nature would pay for his insolence. "Earth Power." And, with that, the Charmander was blown into the sky. Remiel didn't bother to see it land back down on the ground as he turned and walked away.
