how embarrassing, to be subjected to something like this. gallade preferred to be beside his master, not on some runway project like these lower, third rate pokemon. he was embarrassed, it was written all over his face as he tried his best not to show it. it was time to begin the walk, the music began, and, upon taking the lead, gallade was the first to start the walk off.

light as a feather, stiff as a board. he walked with fear but held his head high. in the end he was able to return, albeit it took sometime, but the walk was over for the dual-type. he just wanted to return to his master's side.

he never did get to strike that pose.

the lucario never had an opportunity to be showy until now, and it is on this job that the lucario manages to act without his trainer yelling at him to be 'normal' or whatever that was supposed to be.

a growl sounds as he makes his way to the start of the runway, which evolves to a full cry once it shows itself to the public. excited and enthusiastic, the lucario's spirit shows in its expression when it faces its audience.

he walks at the center of the runway with character, posing for the camera whenever he sees someone point their lens towards him. this was just like kyle's photo shoot sessions, but except for getting fame from the internet, the lucario gets it directly in front of him.

as he makes his exit, the lucario stomps on the ground and lets special effects from his heal pulse fly. he strikes one last pose before he leaves the eyes of the audience, leaving them with a smug and snarky, albeit energetic, expression.

Champ the Meditite did a pep up, jumping in place like fighter did before he was about to enter a ring for a wrestling match. However, this definitely was not a Wrestling match. In fact, it was actually a runway show, like one those things where models strut their stuff on a catwalk while people take pictures and admire them from afar. It really wasn't Champ's sort of thing, however Alec had signed him up for it, and so he figured he'd try his best to 'wow' the crowd in his own way.

It had then became the Meditite's turn and he quickly stopped jumping in place, and had began to enter the catwalk, but rather than walking, he used his psychic capabilites and had entered on the catwalk, floating in midair, it's legs crossed while going down the catwalk in a straight line, as if he were meditating. From the 'ooo' and 'aah's' of the crowd, it had appeared that Champ's 'technique' was working to his favor.

Just as he reached the end of the catwalk, he quickly stopped levitating, landing on his feet while, making some fight stances with some Force Palms, using one hand after the other. Then he quickly sprang high into the air, kicking about elegantly before landing at the front of the Catwalk where he had entered. He then exited the Catwalk, proud of himself as he heard the crowd going wild with excitement from his display.

Something appeared at the beginning of the walkway, one hand in front of an audacious smile. Glima's cheeks blew out in little, yellow balloons, her sharp eyes scanning the crowd. She just barely qualified for the role of model, so she decided she was going to own this show! [break][break]

A high-pitched shrieking laugh erupted from the Croagunk as she leapt forward on powerful legs, bouncing almost like rubber. Flipping like an acrobat, she landed at the very end, scowling into a camera before it evolved into a smile. Whatever they were looking to see, she was certain it wasn't her! [break][break]

She left much more resigned, teeth spread in the Croagunk's traditional smirk as she meandered back off. [break][break]

Really. She wowed them, she knew it. [break]obreak]

Much as his trainer tried to reassure him, Aurelian had a bit of a chip on his shoulder. Most male Kirlia became Gallade, and he felt that his evolution into Gardevoir invited judgement upon him from others. It wouldn't be the first time someone mistook him for a girl. It's fine. He wasn't offended. He's over it.[break][break]

(Honestly, he's not over it.)[break][break]

Modelling feels like an exercise in humiliation. With his struggling self-confidence, what had Florian been thinking signing him up for this? He's on edge the entire time as he waits for his turn, but seeing the other Pokemon go before him is somewhat reassuring. (Except for the Gallade. That just makes him feel worse. Thank goodness they went first.)[break][break]

When it's finally his turn, the Gardevoir refuses to be outdone. He turns on his charm for the audience and the cameras, and he walks that runway as if he was born for it. When it comes time for him to pose, he takes a dramatic pause and uses double team to create the illusion that there were suddenly three Gardevoir on stage, twirling in unison and ending with a dramatic bow.[break][break]

Take that, competition.[break][break]

He feels a little better about himself once he comes down off the runway, but there's no way he's letting Florian know that he was right.

Grace was feeling rather unsure about this whole affair. While on one hand she eagerly enjoyed the thought of people admiring her beauty, she never quite knew what to do with all this attention. People already stopped and stared at her because of her shiny blue coloration, but it wasn't as if she had any idea of how to handle that attention, despite enjoying it.

With that in mind, Grace was outfitted with a rather remarkable black, strapless dress specially designed for the spike on her chest. Awaiting her time to head down the runway, she watched the other's take their turns. With her incredibly telepathic presence, it was easy to sense the anticipation and excitement in the crowd as she stood backstage.

As a male Gardevoir and his Double Team clones walked off the stage, it was Grace's time to actually get on the stage. Forcing down her nerves, Grace walked out onto the runway with a soft twirl.

Immediately the crowd's attention was drawn to her shiny form. Some of them had even recognized her from her actions in Slateport with her trainer. Despite that, she closed off her telepathic connections to keep herself calm. Strutting out down the runway, she twirled heavily as soon as she was supposed to turn around.

The crowd cheers in response, encouraging a soft smile to spread across her face. Turning around to face the crowd, she seemed to glide back through the air. Levitating ever so slightly, her graceful movements and twirling only exaggerated the beauty of the dress as she slowly floated back off stage.

Okay, the reconstruction effort he could understand—but this?[break][break]

This was something else entirely.[break][break]

What was going through Alexei’s head, when he was suddenly signed up for something like this without warning whatsoever? The Lucario could only blink and sigh—what had his human companion gotten involved in that had him strutting down a long aisle and just outright striking a pose?[break][break]

Well, he remembered the words that the pale-haired human would always say to him.[break][break]

“When you do something, you give it your best. Go all out. Go big, or go home.”[break][break]

The problem here was that most of his moves were built on protecting the pale-haired human, how in the hell was he going to be flashy? When he saw the other Lucario strut its stuff, he got an idea. Once the familiar-looking shiny Gardevoir cleared the area, he knew it was his turn next.[break][break]

Holding his shoulders up and out high, he then strode down the runway, eyes full of purpose. Just to be sneaky, he concentrated and let a swirl of aura slowly form around him, before focusing on two points near his paws. As he reached the end of the runway, he let the two glowing auric spheres slowly dissipate into a sparkling array of light as he turned around just so before looking over his shoulder and giving everyone a cheeky wink and walking back down the runway.[break][break]

That wasn’t too hard now, was it?[break][break]

[attr="class","mthread"][attr="class","rocket"]the bisharp gives a long-suffering sigh. he was not accustomed to battles such as these--the runway was a strange place. he does his best to smother his fighting instinct as a small crowd of people he has never seen before flock around him, polishing to the point of shine, adorning him in the strangest things. any scratches in his coat had been covered in a paint-like substance, and this was the only of their actions he could grow to appreciate.

this was only a one-off, at least...

it's more march than catwalk, but it seems the designers had anticipated as such. his movements compliment the sharp black-white of his outfit, and its even sharper angles. he sees some heads in the crowd nod in approval and holds his head higher.

really, he didn't know what his trainer had been thinking, offering him for such an event. he supposes it could have been worse, though.
