Rabid fisherman with half-broken nets and rusty spears had attacked them in the forest. These were the outcasts the people of Aurora had placed a bounty on. Working in tandem, however, Isra and Remiel had made short work of them. As their bloodied and maimed bodies dissipated into data, leaving only traces of blood in the area that would dissipate soon as well, the armored royal summoned his player menu. A message regarding the completion of the bounty appeared. He waved it away in favor of another bounty. It was an item drop they needed for the 'The Fisher King's Dowry'. The dragon knight pressed a button that sent it to Isra with a notification.

He closed the player menu and turned to his companion, bloodied red sword in hand. "There's more experience to be gained here. Far more than what these ruffians had to offer." He remarks, gazing down at a pool of blood in the wet grass. Drizzle fell lightly from the clouded sky above. To his back, a picturesque river cut through the vibrant forest.

"Have you received the request?"

They were getting the hang of things, almost too much so. It could easily become tedious and boring and Isra is quite certain the only reason she stays entertained is because Remiel keeps her attention. Her dance around the outskirts of the battle ceases with the dissappating ice particles that accentuate her icy spears. She can't help but scrutinize the scene before them, nitpicking details in her head.

Her approach towards Desolas after the fact is interrupted by the notification, pausing momentarily. "Yes." though hunting for a drop wasn't her favored pass time by any means she wouldn't turn it away if he didn't. She navigates away from it, feeling more comfortable in the player menu than she had been.

It's only after it drops that she catches the drizzle, face turning upwards at the simulated sky. Cloudy and dreary, she enjoyed it more than the sun, and not just because she felt more comfortable in it.

"Almost even feels like rain."

She turns back from the momentary distraction, waiting on him.

Remiel looked up at the grey canvas above in tandem with her. He couldn't feel the drizzle the same way she did. At least, he presumed he didn't. But he did feel the very faint vibrations of each raindrop landing on his plated armor. Not impressed, however, he casts his gaze back down to earth and watched as the blood dissipated from the edge of his blade. It was in the rain-speckled reflection of said blade that he caught notice of two bulbous heads emerging from the river behind him.

"We have company."

It was then that the bulbous heads emerged quickly from the water after the Octillery propelled themselves into the sky with powerful jets of water gushing out of their cannon-like noses. In the time it took them to aim those noses in the direction of the two players, Remiel had spun around to face them and held his blade defensively. The one trained on him fired off a Bullet Seed, but it bounced off of his armor almost completely ineffectively.

As it fell down from the sky and back towards the river below it, the dragon knight pointed his blade at the octopus and summoned a barrage of Metal Bombs that levitated in the air behind him before descending upon their target in the water. It would perish in a blast of water and a clamorous amount of metallic noise.

She almost huffs, turning to look over her shoulder as the creatures make themselves known and make their move to strike. The gunk shot aimed in her direction is easily deflected towards the ground, the gravitational field suddenly surfacing around the pokemon pulling it out of the sky before it even has the chance to get very far.

The pokemon sinks into the river but Isra anticipates the return, when it emerges the air above it is chilled and cold with the presence of an Icy spear. It descends without remorse, skewering the pokemon before it can retaliate. The rest that follow in its wake are just for fun.

"That wasn't company, that was annoying." she chuckles, amused.

The dragon knight agrees to her comment with a nod, but the moment isn't spared much more time as more enemies appear out from the river's depths. A particularly rabid-looking Shellder, spewing a near constant stream of foam from its mouth, burst out from the water in a Razor Shell attack that manifested as a spin. Remiel had to ready himself quickly as the attack came rushing for him. Thankfully, his stats boosts from earlier were still active. Not nearly enough time had elapsed for said boosts to wear off. As such, his evasive maneuvers were quick.

Ducking beneath the rapid attack, the armored royal was quick to counter with a Breaking Swipe after he pivoted around. It sent the shell flying into a nearby tree before splitting open in a burst of foam. It hit the ground afterwards, twitching and defeated, before it burst into bits of data that ascended into the sky before disappearing. Remiel lowered his blade afterwards.

"Nuisances. But perhaps one of them will have what we need..."

It comes from the trees on the river bank and Isra is quick to scowl at the unsightly creature. The acrobatic nature of it's attempt to attack her is easily brought to a halt with the pull of manipulated Gravity. The pokemon slams into the ground and she's quick to back away, putting further distance between her and it before it can rise again. The icy spears she's sure to become quite fond of pin the creature down before it can move again, filing to muster another attack before it's skewered much the same as the last one was.

"Hopefully sooner rather than later." she's not exactly fond of the idea of entertaining this too much longer.

Her eyes scan the area around them, seeking to find their next attackers before they can come for them. Mind mulling over what they're looking for and wondering how quickly they're likely to find it. The woman can't imagine simply poking at these creatures needlessly for any real amount of time after all.

An almost mournful cry rang out through the air with an icy chill, as the water from the wide river was pushed out in large waves, giving way to the enormous guardian that presided over it. The in-game notifications were quick to make them aware that a countdown had begun: an effect of its Perish Song. Noting the timer, then issuing another Shift Gear once he realized the cool-down for it had ended, Remiel readied his blade with both hands.

"Seems like we have no choice but to end it sooner rather than later," The armored royal remarks, blue-grey eyes settling on the crystals sparkling on the bosses' back. "I'll draw its attack. My defense is higher than yours. You focus on doing as much damage as you can." He adds, rushing forward without another word as it readies a Water Pulse.

By the time it had gathered enough water in its gullet, the hyper-agile knight was already upon the beast, leaping up into the air with one powerful jump before slashing away at its torso. He only got as far as a seven-hit combo before it unleashed its watery pulse, striking his body hard and disorienting him slightly before he was given the chance to fall back down towards the earth below.

Though it had certainly hurt, however, his armor had negated the brunt of the damage and allowed him to land back down on both feet. He stumbled into a firm stance before pointing his sword at the beast, casting a Magnet Bomb that immediately shot back towards his opponent and pelted her face. As shards of ice began to glitter and form around it, readying itself for another attack, Remiel turned to see whether Isra had heeded his words.
