Hunting the Dragnor mini-boss seemed ideal. To get a weapon imbued with a powerful dragon spell would certainly make her a threat on the battlefield, and that was exactly what she was looking for.[break][break]

Besides, even basic training in the dragon-infested kingdom was enough to keep her interested. Honing her skills and battling foe after foe in one of the most dangerous PVP areas known to Ransei. She would not be defeated.

Something enormous bears down on top of her and she's slapped to the ground by force with a giant DRAGON TAIL. The follow up is a THUNDER PUNCH the moment she manages to get back on her feet. With a gasp, she's blown backward again, holding on tight to her wand and her wits. The Dragonite is much bigger than any dragon she'd fought previously - and yet it wasn't what she was looking for.[break][break]

"You bloodthirsty piece of --"[break][break]

She snarls, aiming her wand in time to defend herself as he DRAGON RUSHES in to meet her. Instead, he crumbles to the ground, defeated, as her FREEZE-DRY stops him in his tracks.

Stormy's moment to catch her breath is short-lived. Her hands press hard into her knees as she leans over herself, sucking in air as she remains winded from her previous fight. [break][break]

And then a Dragonair appears, tearing up a wicked TWISTER full of volatile THUNDER WAVES. The attack catches her arm, twisting the wand out of her hand. Paralysis tempts her fingers as her shoulder falls limp and she gasps in pain. But even still, she races the Dragonair for her weapon, pushing herself past the paralysis in order to come through victorious.[break][break]

She is fortunate in that regard, as the Dragonair pulls back at the last second, prepared to defend itself from her retaliation. It fires a last-minute HYPER BEAM which she somehow, somehow manages to duck under. Or rather, crumble under. Just as her fingers wrap around the winged wand, she feels the paralysis grip her body and drag her to the ground just in time.[break][break]

When she regains some motion, she whispers another FREEZE-DRY spell, watching as the power explodes up and outward, driving shards of ice into the serpentine body of her attacker. It perishes and she's left winded and shocky on the ground.

The last spawn arrives and she honestly nearly sobs with relief. Instead of the larger, stronger Pokemon she had dealt with, she's being tackled in the thigh by a Pokemon an eighth of her size. Of course, the repetitive stabs to her leg with it's tusk-teeth was painful after a while, but it only encouraged her to fight the paralysis and get up.[break][break]

And when she does, it takes her no time at all to destroy the Axew with a final FREEZE-DRY. It tries to bite at the attack with a CRUNCH but is ultimately unsuccessful as the super effective attack tears into its model. [break][break]

Stormy breathes a sigh of relief as she gathers her loot and heads for the nearest health regeneration station or safe zone.
