Other players might mistake the witch as an NPC in Nixtorm.

If not for her appearance that has a personality for itself, the luscious green hair that stands out in a sea of ivory-colored trees and ice-glistened walls, they might approach her for a quest as players are desperate enough to get those glacier loots.

But Selena has her reason for frequenting the icy castle of Nixtorm. With only one fire move in her arsenal, she needs a way to control its power and explore other options to launch INFERNO to her enemies.

The witch is raising hell. And the spawns of the winter wonderland will be damned.

The first one to appear is a cubchoo. Selena feels a slight sadness seeing baby pokémons spawn in the ruthless world of B&B. Her competitiveness rushes her to kill even the cute ones—the cub included. If not, the real-time hours she spend in the world of virtual reality will be gone to waste and she will have more reason to blame procrastination.

“Okay, I’m just sorry to be even doing this, cutie.”

Selena tries another action. She waves her saber, slashes the space in-front of her as she clicks in the controller button for the move INFERNO—a trail of fire follows the rapier’s every movement, and when she is done, the eccentric pattern of her fire slashes hit the poor cubchoo, turning it to pixels in just a short matter of time.


SELENA uses INFERNO.

After successfully knocking down the cubchoo, Selena does not realize that there is a jynx watching her from afar. BLIZZARD begins to form above her, from a weak gust of icy wind comes a storm that sends hail towards her direction.

The witch tries to dodge: leaps from her position as she sees the jynx finally approaching her with an ICE PUNCH. The mage uses PSYCHIC—her saber’s emerald glow in lavander as she halts the spawn’s movement, with her every twirl of the rapier wand, it follows—and throws it off towards the frozen lake.

The impact of its body colliding with the ice is enough to kill it, its body turns to pixels, and Selena claims her rewards.

Ring.

Selena receives a call that she is needed in the office, her real life commitment catching up to her virtual reality one. ‘One more time,’ she tells herself.

Soon a sneasel appears incher periphery, waiting for the witch to strike first. When she prepapres to hurl another INFERNO, the pokémon is quick to launch itself with METAL CLAW. The physical attack connects first, hitting Selena with steel-solid scratch that partially scathes her health bar. Her rapier then stabs through the pouncing swifting sneasel, the fire attack doing its work, engulfing the poor creature in cerulean flames as it is reduced to a pile of pixels.
