storm clouds rolled alongside the coastline of the area threatening to pour on everything around here including the pair that made their way to a nest of mobs. it was bad enough that they were looking for some high level ones to power level themselves up but now they had to deal with disastrous weather as well? well that wasn't going to bode well for one of them at least, stormy really did draw the short end of picking classes didn't she?

"so like i'm not gonna have to worry about your being put out by a bit of rain am i? pretty sure this is like...some kind of karma or something. like your attracting a storm, ain't that funny stormy?" the brawler arcanine turned to give his partner a teasing smile as he let out a chuckle at his own joke. oh it was pretty bad and he woudln't blame her for lighting his tail on fire and letting the rain put it out.

Wonderful. Just.. wonderful.[break][break]

Her red hair lays smattered against her cheek and she continues to wipe rain water from her eyes as she follows Kazimir half-heartedly. Grinding in the Fontaine kingdom wasn't her finest cup of tea, but she had promised Kazimir she wouldn't leave him behind.[break][break]

More likely than not she had already tried to cast a SUNNY DAY, but the move had fizzled and died due to the games permanent weather. Fontaine was in a bad mood today, or maybe she was just having bad karma. Whatever the case, it was like a tiny speck of sunlight peeked down just on her, giving her the spotlight. But it didn't stop her being soaked.[break][break]

"You're lucky I like you."[break][break]

She didn't know what she'd done to attract bad karma, but she was almost willing to pray for forgiveness. Almost. The fire mage takes another step forward, face contorted in visible disgust as he boot sinks into the soft ground. It makes a squishing noise that's most revolting.[break][break]

"You owe me a hot drink and a warm place to sleep after all of this, you got me?"

"oh I can think of a nice warm place for you to rest at." he them flexed his muscles to let his biceps bulge as droplets of water danced off of them. Sure the smell of wet dog could be a problem but arcanine for was supposed to be the softest there is isnt it? That's the rumor he spread around anyway. Kaz's little exhibition show was cut off however by the sound of growling, growling poliwhirls who were flexing their own muscles in retaliation.

Stormy is taken aback immediately by his forward comment and she blushes deeply as a result of it. She means to speak up and say something but her operating systems seem to be malfunctioning because she makes a small gasping noise and nothing else intelligent falls off her lips.[break][break]

Instead, she's captured by him flexing his muscles and she glances away hastily, trying not to be caught staring.[break][break]

"Heh.. that's.."[break][break]

She swallows her comment and instead watches as Kazimir uses a wild FLYING PRESS on the Poliwhirls that had appeared to express their own dominance. He flattens one and leaves the other open for Stormy to use PSYCHIC against. Her magic lifts the Pokemon out of the air and she furrows her brow in deep concentration as she readies to drop him and catch the Pokemon with FREEZE-DRY.[break][break]

Stormy breathes a sigh of relief as the Polwhirl ceases to exist. She spits hair out of her mouth and wipes the damp strands out of her face with a look of irritation.

as the dog pushed himself off the wet sand and dusting himself off he gave stormy a thumbs up at a successful taking out of the trash. as he was something suddenly popped out from under the ground beneath him and sent him onto his butt. another clampearl had surfaced, and he was familiar with how annoying this things were. guess it was time for it to perish. "take this ya stupid clam!" he screamed as he rammed a drill rush powered punch to shatter its shell so stormy could get into the goodie insides of the damn thing.

Stormy groans as she pulls herself onto her palms, legs still splayed out in front of her. She hasn't found the strength to get back to her feet considering how water-logged and heavy her mages robes were at present. She quite literally looks like a drowned rat.[break][break]

That was, until she witnesses Kazimir get knocked on his butt by their final opponent. With a gasp, she forces herself to her feet rapidly, waggling her wand to use PSYCHIC to help the brawler DRILL RUSH the lucky clam into the dirt. It skips across the water and Stormy follows it up with a FREEZE-DRY. The combination of the empowered punch and the consecutive ice-type attack was successful in prying open the spawn to reveal the goodies inside.[break][break]

"Oh man! I've been looking everywhere for a lucky spawn! Wooooo!"[break][break]

She shouts as she bounces up and down excitedly.
