The ocean kisses the shore, stretching against the sand. The sun warms the stain it leaves behind, only to be remarked again and again.[break][break]

Stormy's bare feet sink into the soft sand underfoot as she strolls. Her focus seems to be on the ocean spray, on the cool air that whips at her cheeks that smells of salt and open air. It's relaxing.[break][break]

Not far away, she sees the shadow of her Skarmory overhead. The bird circles above her like a vulture, waiting for something.[break][break]

It seems that she is quickly joined by another steel-clad bird, however. Stormy glances up as the frame of her newly evolved Corviknight flies alongside the Skarmory.

'Quack.. quack..'[break][break]

Stormy glances over her shoulder, wet hair dragging across her bare shoulder, tickling as it left a trail. Her eyes latch onto the yellow exterior and plush feathers of a meandering Psyduck. It walks dutifully, with a purpose, like it knows its meant for something greater.[break][break]

And Stormy allows it to walk on by, watching with mild amusement as it sprays a couple of WATER SPORTS. The water sprays its body, dampening its feathers before it walks directly into the ocean. The waves lap at its heels as it disappears into the surf, only to reappear, bobbing away.[break][break]

"... Weird, but alright."[break][break]

The Corviknight and Skarmory continue to circle above, paying the Psyduck no mind.[break][break]

Stormy's purse hangs loosely off of her shoulder, but when it suddenly starts to wiggle and tug she glances behind her. Nothing immediately catches her attention and she feels a flush of anxiety. She had been convinced that someone was pulling her purse just a moment ago.[break][break]

Her footsteps slow as soft jingling grows louder and louder. It soon dawns on her that there's something in her purse, and she slowly opens it to reveal a tricky little Klefki. The Pokemon panics and attaches itself to her set of keys, taking off as fast as it could.[break][break]

Thankfully, her Skarmory is quick to adjust her position and get on the hunt. Unfortunately, both Skarmory and Corviknight turn too quickly and clash into each other. They fall into the sand and thrash about - leaving Stormy to try and catch the wild set of keys herself.[break][break]

"Oh for god's sake.."[break][break]

Stormy abandons her flip-flops, holding them in her off hand. She kicks up sand as she chases the tiny Klefki, fumbling in her purse for a Pokemon that might actually be able to catch up to it.[break][break]

She opts for her lions, watching as the two Pyroar leap in unison. They breath fire from their mouths and trap the Klefki. It doesn't take long for them to pin it in the sand, claws extended and growls content as they lash their tails back and forth.[break][break]

"Well done!"[break][break]

And then she kneels down to retrieve her stolen keys before catching the Klefki.[break][break]
