Stormy's feet take her to strange places when there's a lot on her mind. Today, she finds that her sandals are sinking into mossy, damp grass in route 104. Normally she wasn't a fan of the water, or bugs, but something about the constant hum of noise in the background helped her keep her mind busy.[break][break]

Like white noise, but as a way to distract her. Sounds legit, right?[break][break]

"Ew."[break][break]

Cold water seeps between her toes and she retreats to dry ground. Somehow she had managed to wander off the beaten path, and she hurriedly returns to it now.

Stormy, with her damp sandals, slips on a piece of leaf spread out in front of her. She falls with a thud, wind knocked out of her sails as she hits the ground. Rattled and confused because before she had fallen, she was pretty sure the leaf she'd slipped on looked very suspiciously like a popped collar on a jacket, Stormy sits up.[break][break]

And there she finds a very pissed off and horrified Sewaddle who scoops up the leaf and its sandal-print mark pressed into its delicate surface. It makes indignant noises at the woman and she sits there, confused and actually a little nervous that it might go for the throat.[break][break]

"I'm.. sorry? Don't leave your stuff in the middle of the road, maybe?"[break][break]

This only adds fuel to the fire as she aggravates the Sewaddle turns on her. Fortunately, Stormy is able to retrieve one of her Charmander's Pokeballs. The tiny fire lizard coughs a puff of ember into the Sewaddle's face. It doesn't put up a fight afterward, and Stormy captures the tiny bug.[break][break]
