The sceptile poked Selena’s back to point out the curious squirtle following their silhouettes from the nearby pond. The trainer got something from her satchel and baited her berry to drawn in the turtle pokémon. The squirtle obliged.

As she feed the water-type with fruits, she clicked a safari ball to its shell and waited for a catch.

Selena smiled at the sight of grubbin at the safari. She remembered having a nest of those in their private island at Alola, since electricity lines were out of reach from the main island. These pokémons provided energy to keep their mansion up and running.

Selena gently approached the wild mon and fed it with berries she brought herself into the safari and clicked a pokéball to its flesh.

Upon catching the grubbin, Selena sauntered further, deeper into the groves that covered the safari zone. But from a far distance, there wes a pair of eyes lurking, watching her every move.

It was a sinistea. But why was it tinged in a different color?

It finally occured to her that the creature was a rare one—possible antique—but even rarer as it bears a different color. Likewise, she asked Ascalabus to fetch the creature some berries, to which she hoped the creature would oblige and be encouraged to join Team Desmarais.

Spores of yellow color bloomed upon the pair’s arrival deeper into the woods of the safari zone. An oddish, hiding behind the short bushes, has casted STUN SPORE against the sceptile.

But Selena and her partner were quick to act. With a flash of DUAL CHOPS, the lizard immediately knocked out its fellow grass-type threat to protect his trainer.

Not only the oddish but other creatures of the safari began to attack Selena as well. Was it because it was nearing dark? But some animals were nocturnal and even the facility does not close by 10. Or was it because they were noisy? But the pair tried to be as invisible as possible.

When a ralts began to use PSYCHIC against the lady’s sceptile, she immediately ordered Ascalabus to use another DUAL CHOP—again, successfully knocking off his assailant.

ASCALABUS (SCEPTILE) uses DUAL CHOP.
RALTS is OHKO’ed.
