Selena realized that while she had been in Hoenn for most days now, already considering it her new home especially after being inaugurated as a Gym Leader, there were still a lot of places left unexplored for the Kalosian.

There was someone she needed to meet at Vendanturf, and the easiest way towards the town is if she crosses Route 117.

The tree Selena passed by quivered, signalling a presence that she ought to give attention to. There was a screech, and the branches began to grow again, leaves falling from the small oak tree as she witnessed a pair of eyes blinking towards her. A bug type.

She did not enjoy bugs that crawls, but a wormadam looked fancy and intriguing—with the variety of cloaks, of course. She reached for her a bag, a pack with crumbles of miltank jerkeys, she retrieved. She threw the crumbs on the ground where the bug pokémon hopped off from her spot and started chewing.

The Kalosian then threw a pokéball.

SELENA throws POKÉBALL (CATCH).
