Something he'd never seen before, something that looked... though. That's what Sirius had managed to stir up in the tall grass while Adrian was in one of his ruts, wanting to vent his frustrations on the poor feral creatures for the sake of training his Growlithe. It had been his intention to make a mess of things, so to speak. But he couldn't deny that familiar urge within that urged him to take pokeball in hand and...
"Sirius, Close Combat." As Growlithe began to lunge towards the pokemon it attacked, seizing nearby rocks with its ancient power, hurtling them towards Sirius as it ran straight for its mark. But its body broke through, shattering the rocks and driving forward towards the rolycoly, diminishing the potency of the attack with its own move's type advantage.
Yet the wild Rolycoly persisted, once more harnessing the earth for its own purpose, slinging rocks at Growlithe. "Agility, dodge it!" So relentlessly trained a dog could only trust its instructions, pulling away from the attack to navigate the spacing between rocks, managing to avoid the brunt of the attack. But the Rolycoly seemed only to grow more empowered with every rock sent pelting towards Sirius.
"Get in close and finish it!" Growlithe yipped in response as it jumped over a boulder before dipping low to the ground to narrowly avoid another, then dashing towards the Rolycoly in a slowly closing spiral pattern, constantly forcing it to spin and adjust its focus.
And as Growlithe closed in its body would pile drive the Rolycoly once more, his Growlithe visibly recoiling from the collision but otherwise unharmed as it brought the pokemon to the ground.
"Good job," he offered to his pup-in-training, tossing it a spare berry from his pack before padding over to the fallen pokemon. A red-and-white orb clutched in his dominant hand, he seemed to be contemplating whether to catch it or not. Though he'd come here in a storm, wanting nothing more than to inflict violence on otherwise innocent pokemon for the sake of progress, he was incapable of truly overcoming the childish impulse inside him.
And so he caught a Rolycoly, taking a hand through Sirius' coat of fur as it approached, his digits tracing through the folded ears as the canine passed around him, a wary leer directed at the dormant Coal pokemon's pokeball.
Attempting capture. P.S. That was a Rolycoly spawn, right? Not Tyrogue?This is black sheep, o v e r - a n d - o u t . dandy ♫ [newclass=.hearmenand1]float:left;margin-top:-25px;background-image:url(https://cdnw.nickpic.host/rZ2h96.png);width:250px;height:450px;-webkit-clip-path: polygon(0 0, 0 100%, 75% 100%, 100% 50%, 75% 0);clip-path: polygon(0 0, 0 100%, 75% 100%, 100% 50%, 75% 0);[/newclass][newclass=.hearmenand2]margin-left:12px;width:230px;height:355px;overflow:auto;padding-right:8px;text-align:justify;font:9px Verdana;color:#EEE;[/newclass][newclass=.hearmenand2::-webkit-scrollbar]width:5px!important;background-color:#999!important;border:0px!important;[/newclass]
