The red and black furred fox amber orbs gazed up at his trainer as soon as he popped out of his ball, head titled to one side as the man spoke in his language. Out of everything the human said, the only words that really clicked was ‘be good’. “Yeah yeah,” the little fox replied, watching his trainer turn and leave out the door without another word. It was only when a woman’s voice rang out that the fox turned to see the human who was taking care of him. She spoke human again, ushering him to go play outside with the other pokemon. With nothing to do, the fox obeyed with much fussy.

Upon exiting to the playground, a bunch of pokemon were running around. Unsure were he should go or who wanted to play, the fox spotted a spot to lay in the sun. He strolled up to the fluffy bed and jumped in it, circling around a few times before plopping down. Amber gaze flickered over the massive colorful playground, seeing pokemon off all shapes and sizes running around and playing. The fox yawned, laying his head down on the side of the bed and closed them. His large ears twitched to any sounds close to hi, yet his eyes didn’t open. Did anyone want to play with him?

bruce is very low-maintenance as far as valerio is concerned. if the nursery owners say otherwise, he will be very insulted. all bruce has to do if his trainer left him alone in the playground is to sleep quietly under the large oak tree by the house. occasionally, one of the elderly owners will come by to swing by his tree and bruce just wouldn’t mind. this time, however, it is not an elderly but a fox. its silence is still pretty audible to the golbat, and his is a sound he has never met before.[break][break]

“g-g-g-g-golbat,” the bat screeches, desperate to call the fox’s attention. he needs to learn whose property he is sleeping and bruce needs to show him who’s the boss.[break][break]

The spot was so comfy, curled up in a little ball with his tail over his nose. His eyes closed, lungs expanded and retracted with the calming intake of cool air. Large ears twitched ever so slightly, indicating he wasn’t out just yet. But as the little red fox was about to fall into a deep sleep, something screeched that forced the fox to stand in panic. Amber orbs flickered over the play area, seeing nothing in front of him or around him at first. In fact, it seemed that no one even hear it as others kept playing. It was only the sound of flopping wings that Falkor tilted his head back to see a boy angrily above him.

Falkor let out a bitterly hiss, pawed at the air in a stretch like motion before he tried to ignore the stupid bat. The fox began his circle dance to get comfy once again. And after several circles around, his butt plopped on the ground and muzzle rested on his forelegs. His amber eyes watched other play, a yawn forced his muzzle open briefly only to stop and his eyes closed again. Long ears twitched ever so often, listening for the bat in case it didn’t want to leave him alone.

bruce is certainly not imagining things. the fox twitched and looked at him—looked at him before it went back circling down his spot and nestled at his own fur. the golbat does not take any of this. it swifts right into the nickit, its legs clinging into its back with agitation.[break][break]

“golbat!” it screams into his ear with supersonic voice, as if saying, ‘i’m not gonna tell you twice—leave my spot.’[break][break]

Large ears twitch to the sound of something coming closer. But before he could open his eyes to see what it was, claws dug into his back and pulled on his fur up in an attempt tp pick him up. The fox yelped and flailed about in a panic, screaming as he tried to break free from the claws. “HEY! LET ME GO!” Amber orbs flickered to see that bat was the one picking him up. Tail took on a purpley dark aura as he tried to SUCKER PUNCH with his tail at the claws that grabbed him.

In the mist of creating a scene, fellow pokemon turned to see what the commotion was about. The daycare takers began to gather to try to break up the fight. “LET ME GO! NOW!” The little fox pokemon squirmed against his opponent, trying everything in his power to get the bat to let him go as the daycare helpers gather. “IF YOU WANT TO FIGHT, I’LL RIP YOUR WINGS OFF!” What did this bat want with him? He was just napping.

bruce flies before the nickit’s paw nabs him to the floor, his wings flapping to put a considerable distance between them both.[break][break]

“golbat!” he screams again at the fox pokémon, confident he is now seeing him and taking him seriously. ‘this tree is mine! sleep somewhere else,’ it screeches while glaring.[break][break]

As soon as the little red fox goes to bat at the… bat, it lets him go. Eyes widen as he hit the floor somehow landing on all fours. But, it jolts his joints and he flinches from the pain. Amber orbs look to the bat as it continued to scream at him. “This is no one’s tree,” the fox replied with a hiss of his own, left front paw extended out towards the bat as he pretends to catch at it, “And why don’t you come down here and make me.” His nails took on the low glow of hone claws, boosting his attack and accuracy by one stage. His glare never leaves the bat’s, ready to night slash him if he dared to come close again.

Meanwhile, the daycare people notice the distribution and quick gathers to see what’s going on. Human were quick to intervene as one of the lady human’s pluck Falkner off the ground rather roughly. “That’s enough,” she told him, patting his head as he stretched at the lady annoyed, “Hey! No! Bad fox!” She scowled at him, pointer finger out at him. “If you can’t get along, I’ll lock you in a cage until you’re trainer comes back.” Falker hisses but turns his head. Stupid humans don't even know what was going on.

With that, the fox was moved away from the bat and put somewhere else. He kissed at the caretaker, amber eyes glared at the bat that got its way because of the humans. "You're lucky bat," the little red fox calls out, turning in a huff to find another spot to nap.

bruce sneers at the taken care of nickit, being carried by the daycare owners away from the golbat’s reach. the poison-type observes as he is being escorted away from the tree and the golbat smiles contently. it claws its feet back into the branch and tries to go back to sleep.[break][break]

“golbat” he screeches back at the fox’s protest. ‘you are saying?’ he gives a teasing smile before eyes go back to sleep.[break][break]

A few hours pass sense the fox had to deal with that bat. And to avoid trouble, he kept his distance though he really wanted to rip its wings off. His nap was alright. It could have been better but it was a nap either way. It made the time go a a lot quicker. His amber eyes opened to see some of the pokemon’s trainer’s have already came back. His muzzle opened wide in a yawn, standing to stretch and shade off any dirty that might have caught on his pelt. His gaze instantly shifted to where he last remembered the bat, seeing the pesky creature was still there.

But before he could confront the bat one last time, a daycare lady stood in this path. His gaze lifted to see hands reach down to pick him up. “Hey little one,” the woman sweet voice greeted him as she patted his head, “Your trainer is back.” The red fox let another yawn washed over him, amber eyes narrowed at the bat before the bat was no longer an issue he had to deal with. “Here is your little cutie,” the woman chirped in delight, handing him over to Maverick, “He caused a little bit of trouble but nothing we can't handle.” Falkner let out a growl at the lady before Maverick took him.

“Yeah,” the trainer chuckled, holding the baby fox up to met his gaze, “He seemed kind of snippy sometimes.” Falkor sipped at Maverick face, no mean just kind of playfully. “Easy there Killer.” Again, Maverick let out a stuff chuckle as he retrieved his ball. “Hope you had fun. I might have found a friend you can play with more in your exhibit.” With that, the fox was recalled and the scarred trainer thanked the caretakers. Upon leaving, he noticed a familiar face. “Hey Jonathan,” the man waved before leaving the daycare, “See you around.”

from a far distance, bruce hears his trainer’s voice, prompting the golbat to wake up. “hey!” he says, greeting the person that acknowledged him first. from what the golbat could hear, it looks like they know each other before.[break][break]

“golbat!” the bat flies nearby the door to welcome his trainer. valerio, in the persona of jonathan, pays the daycare lady before he greets back bruce, a pokéball in his hand waiting for it’s owner to return.[break][break]
