Razz just smirked after their victory Sage saluting at him for it. Such an odd feeling it was to have a pokemon so series now. Back in the day that was mostly what he had with Salem being the odd one out now over 2 years later he was stuck with one again. Though admittedly he liked it, part of him wondered how it would be now though as he didn't really have as serious a job. For now though just training to see how things would go.

That was the pattern the three watched the Throh repeat over and over in its training as they were exploring the area. Salem perked up following it's motion then pointing to the large red pokemon seeming to want to fight it. "You have every advantage here though," Razz's states not seeing the need to try and fight with the creature but it seemed like the psychic kitty looked like he wanted a fight based off the smug he had, and Razz was sure he was looking more at Sage than he was him. Oh he sees whats going on as he chuckled, "Yeah alright then," he gestured to the fighting pokemon as Salem caught his attention and challenged him. [break][break]

Salem didn't take long to win as he smiled at Sage in a 'thats how its done' sort of way which made the Chespin cross his arms. Well hopefully this rivalry would be healthy.

While exploring more the wild pokemon decided to come out of no where and attack. Sage was first to call to action to take on the psychic pokemon. With a VINE WHIP Sage was able to catch the Beldum that had come at them with a TAKE DOWN, spinning it around a few times before letting it go in order to use the own psychic pokemon's power against itself. Though it seemed like it wasn't ready to give up as it tried again, looks like this one was much different from his own as his Metagross now was a lot calmer. With a command for ROLL OUT Sage rolled himself up before dashing at them. It only took three consecutive hits for it to finally go down.[break][break]

Once down Razz motioned for them to keep on going to allow the thing to rest and recover from it's bad choice of the day.

A tornado of fire came up ahead which instantly got the Ranger worried as he was quick to run toward the possible danger. Funnily enough he was right, but it wasn't a scene he was expecting as he noticed a Delphox desperately defending itself against a trio of Rampardos. "Drain Punch!," he ordered Sage while giving Salem a hand signal as the cat didn't need vocal direction when he had his attention. Both pokemon went to the defense of the magical fox Salem using a Reflect to absorb the impact of a Head Smash while Sage punched the one attempting to attack to send it flying.[break][break]

Seeing the trainer the three rock pokemon fled after the attack. Razz ran over to the injured Delphox to examine it, it seemed to try to raise it's wand at him too before Razz grabbed their arm. "I'm here to help," he tried to reassure the injured pokemon doing his best to keep his disdain at bay for the sake of the injured. After a quick scan of him it seemed like he was much too injured for just simple potions to take care of. "I can get you help, but...." he showed it a pokeball to which it seemed angry to see at first as it struggled to get out of Razz's grip. Though with it's body weaken even the fully evolved pokemon couldn't remove himself of the grasp of some human. [break][break]

"I can take you somewhere safe." he tried again offering the pokeball to which it finally nodded it's head and used it's other hand to open the pokeball himself thus capturing him. Razz never thought he'd ever capture a fire pokemon and yet here he was. Hopefully he could keep that promise of finding it a safe place as he didn't intend on keeping them.
