The group gathers around, waiting for Fernando's Smeargle to finish TICKLING Marcel's Meowstic. While it's not Kyle's Smeargle, it gets the job done. It's more conspicuous considering it's larger size but none of that matters if they place first. That being said, their opening start is probably the most controversial among contestants.

Maybe that's why it's so MOODY.

psyching oneself up was something of a natural talent for kazimir and it extended to his pokemon to a point. maybe it was just his natural charisma that they enjoyed but his team always seemed to go along with what he was thinking. honestly that's all he could ask of them knowing all the crazy stunts he pulls. one such stunt was going crazy on more courses because he liked having all those shiny medals. maybe a bit too much, sure hope it wasn't an addiction coming on.

The bell rings denoting that their time has started. Fernando immediately unloads several blasts at a nearby target, hitting it on the second attempt and splashing over to his next target. His Smeargle mimic his actions in an attempt to bat back one of the Pokemon set up to obstruct them.

he hears the catch phrase. it's almost impossible for him to join the invitation when it was laid in front of him for the taking. he gives his gun to his smeargle so it can do its work instead of him. not like the smeargle can hit any target without it anyways.

heavy footsteps pounded the earth as both trainer and pokemon ran through the field of targets shooting down all that they could. fire burned them away while paint marked the ones that were no longer of any use, so far their accuracy could use some work. however the pair seemed to be in almost perfect sync as they managed to sync their movements together until they both took aim at the same target and fired off their own attacks. the poor thing didn't even stand a chance as it fell to the floor in nothing but a pile of ash.

[attr="class","spiral"]Strangely enough, Kazimir reciting his battle routine sounds less patronizing than Kyle's. However, he's used to being the butt of their jokes so Fernando takes it in stride. After all, he needs them in order to dominate the leader board. He'll have to find another way to get back at them, with all his pettiness.

The further they get the more the course requires his Smeargle to act instead of him. There's only so much power he can muster, a pale comparison in light of his partner.

nothing new happens for a while except what was already happening. all they do is shoot at the targets and everyone gets happy when they hit the target. please let this finish i'm losing what little brain cells i have trying to rush this.

a fire blast was enough to take out a crowd of these moving targets that were new to the course. "now they move? that's new." it still wasn't enough to stop kazimir and his ninetails from going about and completing hte course. it just made it a little more time consuming now that they had to actually aim their shots and make sure that every single one of them counted. sounds pretty easy enough for the two of them together.

Smeargle destroys one of the targets and that leaves only so many left.
