Seeing the woman's overall treatment towards him, the Pokken Rider doesn't say much to retort. He only flashes her a hand signal before his body glows a bright yellow, vanishing, leaving a charizard in his place. The winged lizard is quick to the upbeat as without any moment of hesitation, it quickly beats its wing upwards, crashing through the skylight above.

With a single leap, he hops onto the Charizard, taking off into the distance.

And just like that, the battle is over. His pokemon all collapse together, leaving behind only the Exploud who manages to stay in 'fighting' condition due to rest. Stroking its chin, Hendrix quietly takes into consideration his follies and mistakes this time around. Recalling his pokemon, he exits out - the receptionist waiting.

"Thank you for challenging the Silph Gym. We do hope that you'll come back and try again." she says curtly.

Hendrix passes her a smile, not dejected by his loss. "It was certainly a good learning experience. I'll be back." he says rather proudly, making his way out of the gym.

On command, the Pokken Rider flicks his finger - a spark of electricity DISCHARGES from his fingertip, flinging out at the robber as he buckles against the Altaria's disarming voice. Feeling the electricity run down his body, the robber jolts, collapsing to the ground twitching and writhing as if he'd just been struck by a high voltage taser.

"Nice job, miss." the masked vigilante says to the woman.

Going forward, the hero pulls out a small capsule-like device, pressing against it. Multiple handcuffs emerge instead of a pokemon and the hero quickly begins rounding up the unconscious robbers cuffing them securely in place.

The Electrode comes slamming into the Rotom, but it manages to resist thanks to the Reflect set up by the Alakazam. Seeing the dire straights of the situation, and the potential loss incoming, it focuses its attention onto the Exploud, unleashing a powerful HYDRO PUMP at it – the cold weather helping to freeze parts of the water into icy shards.

Spooner doesn’t bother defending as before the Water Shurikens strike against it, it unleashes another powerful PSYCHIC attack at the Exploud’s mind, hoping to topple the pokemon. Simultaneously, Shurikenger leaps forward at it, pulling back a shadowy blade as it strikes it with a NIGHT SLASH.

Hendrix stares down at the Exploud – knowing that his only viable strategy now is to bring out a draw by knocking out the Exploud.

Between the Grass Whistle and the Sing, two of Hendrix’s pokemon are quick to fall asleep, though it’s not enough to stop the incoming momentum of the Copycat’s Wood Hammer as not only does its arms come swinging down at the Lapras, so too does its body as it collapses over it.

The Charizard comes crashing down onto the battleground below, unable to continue its battle as it’s fallen asleep. Without hesitation, the Greninja quickly melds into the shadows, zipping by as it appears behind the Exploud, grappling onto it with a SHADOW SNEAK to give the Alakazam just enough time to TELEPORT away to safety, evading the ROLL OUT and CRUNCH in the process.

Seeing the Abomasnow trying to douse itself from the fire, the Rotom-Wash wastes no time to unleash another DISCHARGE of electricity upon it.

Hendrix slightly frowns, realizing the thoroughness in Fernando’s strategy. Seeing the incoming wave of attacks, his own Greninja is quick to mimic the other, jumping into the front lines to put up its own MAT BLOCK to block off the SONIC BOOMS, BLIZZARD, and BOOMBURST.

Finding its opportunity, the Charizard attempts to unleash another INFERNO upon the Abomasnow. Trudging forward, Copycat lunges out from the field, charging at the Lapras as Liquid unleashes a Discharge – electricity whizzing past the cloned Abomasnow to strike the same target.

Copycat swings its arms down, striking at the Lapras with a WOOD HAMMER. Meanwhile, Spooner points both his utensils at the Exploud, using its PSYCHIC powers to damage the pokemon.

One does have to admit that the technology implemented by Silph Co. is immaculate and intricate. Eyeing the interface, he’s almost tempted to try and probe the gym’s innerworkings; however, he’ll have time for that at the institute.

Eyeing down the opposing team, he can already see some of the complications he might face, but he’s not apprehensive. Emerging from his side in a similar fashion reveals a Charizard, Alakazam, Greninja, Ditto, and Rotom-Wash.

”Spoon – reflect, Copycat – transform into the opposing Abomasnow, Aran, unleash an Inferno on the opposing Abomosnow, Liquid – Substitute, Shurikenger – Spikes.”

On instruction, his team is quick to execute their orders – the Alakazam is quick to set up protective physical barriers across the entire team while the Greninjua simultaneously throws out caltrops across the field. The Charizard flaps its wings, taking its attack from the sky as it unleashes a powerful flame at the Abomasnow while the Rotom-Wash throws out a protective copycat.

Hendrix steps into the FERNANDO SILPH ’s state of the art gym. As expected, the entire building, from the outside to inside, is crisp and clean. Not even a speck of dust can be found.

The former Interpol officer now turned full-time engineer steps up to the receptionist desk, setting his identification card up against the counter. ”I’m here for my arranged appointment with Fernando.” he says.

The receptionist is quick to check the database. “It’s a pleasure to have you here, Mr. Emmerson. Unfortunately, Mr. Silph is out of the building, but worry not – your gym battle will be fought through delegation and will be completely valid.”

Slightly frowning, he doesn’t disagree nor does he cause any outbursts about the matter; after all, Fernando is a very busy man, alternating between Councilman to Gym Leader. “Please follow me.” He follows after the receptionist and into the room where he’d battle.

Even when not running around Slateport as the Pokken Rider, Hendrix still makes good effort in trying to help the city of Slateport recover. Hauling a large bag of trash with him, he approaches a familiar face. ”Well, this is a surprise. If it isn’t Stormy.” he merrily says with a grin to Stormy Silph .

The lingering scent of tobacco is in the air as he openly smokes – though he’ll be sure to properly discard the cigarette butt once he’s finished. He briefly greets the Sénon Game and Josh Dragomir before turning back to the dark-haired woman.

”You know, if you invited me, I would’ve said yes, but this is still a pleasant surprise.”

Call it a bit crude, but the moment she plugs the flash drive into her computer is when the Porygon hidden within starts its work. It manages to download the woman’s information within the background – after all, he needs to be 100% sure that she’s trustworthy before he can properly work with her.

Hendrix digs into his jacket’s inner pocket, taking out a small case and flipping out a business card in the process. He sets it down against the table. ”You can call me Hendrix.” he says.

”If you’re interested, find me in Littleroot. We have a small office there.” Making his way around the table, he gently grabs the USB, making sure to properly remove it knowing that the Porygon is safe back within the flash drive.

Placing the USB back into his pocket, he grins at the woman. ”Call me and give me an answer. Maybe you’ll even get to get hands on with it soon~” Leaving behind his breadcrumb trail for the woman to follow, he quickly takes his leave.

His lips curl into a bright grin. "I think you'll find it interesting. I've got some experimental fiber that I'd like you to weave together." he explains, tapping his fingers rhythmically against the desk.

"Though considering I'm the only supplier, I want it to be exclusive to me." he says, trying to entice her into working with him, though judging by her overall attitude, it seems like a bit of a hard sell.

With a waving motion, he offers and waits for the woman to plug the USB flash drive into her computer so that she can view the schematics of the suit she'd potentially create. From the latest data he's gathered about the woman, she's managed to make quite a name for herself within the fashion industry.

”No need to take my ID." he says watching the woman. His hands slide into his jacket as he stares at her. Her movements are smooth and her overall composure is admirable to say the least.

The confusion in her eyes are almost believable, but he simply smiles, leaning against the desk. "Relax, I'm not exactly here to cause trouble. I've just got a project that I'm thinking you might be able to help me with."

Pulling out a small USB stick, he sets it against the table. "Considering you've washed your hands from that life."
