[attr="class","light"]and so all hands were on deck. the moment it was unveiled that the residual of primal energy resided here. zenji could not help but take action. he was assigned to work alongside both old and new faces. where the league's vanguard served as the frontlines, the head scientist found himself with a more reserved role.

zenji was placed himself so deep inside the cavern that that he took notice of his computer gradually declining upon moving forward. "the further we go in, the more stronger the primal energy becomes." and to add a bit of annoyance, "the more my equipment also grows useless." so he would head back to meet up with Raziel Beckett.

if many people kept FERNANDO SILPH arms length. that means they wanted nothing to do with him. "it must be nice to be hated, no one ever wants to bother you or deal with you." a dream come true for zenji. being bothered by the migraines is the last thing he needed. "why not just start your own faction then? i'd join it if it promised peace, quiet, and competent people."

[attr="class","light"]he's slowly starting to regret joining the league with each newfound information. the incompetency and professionalism found within the organization surprised him. were their no other candidates suited for half of these positions?

"i can think of someone."

zenji responded with a simple gaze. there was only one person who came to mind, "why not you?" if people were going to find him to be a potential suspect then, "why not play the role you've been given by your comrades." he grinned. "besides you could use the vacation, couldn't you?" it must be exhausting being surrounded by those who suspect you of something that lacked evidence.

[attr="class","light"]that was a lot to unpack. clearly zenji had much to learn about each individual within the league. there was more than meets the eye. he could no longer just go off what was written in their personal records. "this organization is quite the rollercoaster of entertainment."

upon raising his glass, he would ask the following, "so, the only way rocket could learn about the fragments is if those who stayed behind for the second half of the meeting informed them? and if it were none of them then that would mean someone from the mossdeep center could be their mole?" a elbow was propped up atop of the bar. a simple sigh would escape him, "either way, if we were to root out a mole. who's to say there aren't more? it's better if we just even the playing field. toss one of our own into their ranks."

[attr="class","light"]there was no trust and yet there was a meeting had? zenji took a sip from his drink. pondering on what fernando had informed him. "well, that's disappointing." zenji replied, only to add with a smile, "but that also sounds exciting." it was like a game, "so there's an infestation in the league, eh?" he'd take another sip of his drink.

"if this were a game i'd have to call it 'among us', the objective?" he would look to fernando, "find the imposter(s)." it wasn't zenji's job to hunt down said 'imposter(s)' though. in fact he was curious about something pertaining to it, "why haven't the league dealt with this accusation if several of them believe there are imposters among them?"

zenji gestured for the man to take a seat. "by all means," he invited the councilman. his mind trailed off once FERNANDO SILPH made a comment on the excursion that was soon to take place. "ah, that. hopefully the excursion doesn't become too much of a nuisance. anything involving action isn't something i'm too eager to partake in." that life was left behind him. plus, it was a drag to get into skirmishes that may result in potential. he never participated in something that assured a low percentage of success; then again that was just an excuse to not participate.

"speaking of which, what was that whole ordeal with thomas pointing out rocket and their being a possible mole?" zenji was severely out of the loop on this. was their some breach he wasn't informed about?

zenji hadn't expected to see the councilman of all people here. a half smile donned his expression, "yes, after the metaphorical eruption followed by a sudden bomb being released. i think a well-deserved drink has been earned, haha." he'd then turn to the drink he'd been brought, "it's never a dull moment within the league it would seem." which led him to wondering, "what's your overall review of it?"

zenji was here to gather the necessities needed for his upcoming job. he needed to arm himself with the proper components before choosing to dive headfirst into field work. he remembered telling himself he would never get involved in the fight between rocket and league. it was too much of a hassle, and he hated hassles. but this was something he had to do, or rather he couldn't exactly ignore.

the fragments discussed in the meeting were too precious. in fact, he was excited for what was to come. though he would never show it on his face. with rocket resurfacing that was in no way, shape, or form his ordeal. his job was to focus on the unknown. from groudon's disappearance, the fragments, and primal energy? the head scientist could barely contain his enjoyment.

a slight chuckle almost escaped him. quickly, he would cover his mouth. with lucario at his side the steel fighter questioned as to what exactly had been going through his trainer's mind. upon walking the jagged path, lucario would come to spot a civilian. unbeknownst to both the head scientist and his pokemon, this civilian was none other than Yui Fujin Silph.

[attr="class","light"]with the assembly coming to a end. zenji had a lot to prepare for. he had a lot to go over. but for now he needed a bit of rest. some nice relaxation to be exact. he stood outside of a bar on his way home. a beige trench coat hung over his right forearm. a drink to wind down his evening after an explosive meeting sounded like it was worth his time.

opening the door that led into the bar. zenji made his way over to a stool. ordering one sex on the beach, he awaited for the bartender to finish up his order.

"that's something only you can find the answer to, kingsman." for now that was the end of that. there wasn't much else the pair needed to discuss. he wished there was more he could do for razz. but zenji had to face reality that he was no miracle worker. "try not to be too hard on yourself, kingsman. i can tell that you're an exceptional trainer, and are doing just fine." a half-smile given, zenji would add, "the past is called the past for a reason, don't let it be something that defines you."

with his closing statement given. he'd come to place a hand upon the youth's shoulder, "i'm here if you ever need something or someone to talk to."

[attr="class","light"]momentarily, zenji's mind zoned out. the information given to the group brought up an old memory read within reports found deep within league's archives. it was only accessible to those donning authorization equal to that of a scientist or councilman. the constant mention of primal energy reminded him of the following reports that, too, held similar instances:

• the very first sighting of primal energy that was once regarded as a anomaly by those affected.
• the sighting, reported by Tsubasa Yamamoto , involving a creature that was never before seen.
• multiple witnesses stating that a strange source of energy, the same location Tsubasa Yamamoto was in, emerging from a shattered meteorite invoked unbeknownst energy into a pokemon that shattered it.

each of these instances were locations zenji chose to revisit. each location, some old and others recent, possessed light to strong readings based on the waveforms discovered that have slowly faded overtime. again, once asked by illeana reyes , he would look to the group, "recently councilman FERNANDO SILPH and i embarked on a assignment that involved the discovery of waveforms that possessed energies similar to ultra wormholes, but significantly different." the AUFWACHEN WAVEFORMS were what zenji chose to dub them as.

"i recently discovered some pretty interesting stuff regarding ultra beast, which made me curious." he'd look to dahlia goode , "i read old reports where 'primal energy' was involved, except we didn't know that it was considered primal energy until now. each of these events had some form of involvement in bringing about the power of primal energy into our world, or rather awakening this invisible source of power that may have existed before the birth of this region. so i did a bit of digging and revisited the locations of where these 'primal' instances occurred." each location zenji returned to involved him studying the reports for said location.

there were a few things that stood out for the professor. "this is only a theory, but a psychic-type pokemon may prove to be at a disadvantage. the waves emanated by these fragments may cause a distortion in their ability to produce the psychic energies a psychic-type pokemon needs for field purpose. meaning they may prove to be utterly useless in combat." but that didn't mean they were unusable, "those with the ability 'TELEPATHY' may be able to focus on the location of a specific fragment should we send a team to locate each one. there psychic moves may be distorted on execution, but they should have the innate ability to serve as a stronger indicator for the location of those fragments than a machine ever could. the closer we get the more a machine is bound to break or become confused by the energies emanating from multiple fragments, but a psychic-type? a far better metal detector, especially for something fading in and out of existence." even so, this was only a theory.

"a simple theory of course, hence why i'd like to go and hunt for a fragment or two instead. i will make it my mission to gather as many as i can and bring back the necessary amount needed." he'd look to illeana reyes with a half-smile, "i trust in Eva Morales and illeana reyes to take care of things while i'm away." she was a head scientist after all. three minds were better than two. "this primal energy sounds like it will be quite the reward worth hunting for."

- made a suggestion, from what's happened in past events, to utilize psychic-type pokemon to a minimum due to the distortion of psychic-type moves being forced to go haywire. also thinks that they can be used, via the ability telepathy, to help hunt for fragments way better than a machine could.
