THEO BECKETT had told him that all that was relevant about his defection was no longer, that he was just as he was before he had left the organization. but did that mean he was absolved of crime? did that mean he had not changed — somehow — intrinsically, even though neither of them could know it?

it had taken far too long.

[break][break] after the armistice of sootopolis, too much needed to be ensure a proper transfer of properties. too much paperwork, too much negotiation, and too many parties with their own interests to protect. every signature had been a tug of war, every meeting a game of posturing and compromise.

[break][break] he had sent mint frost ahead of him to do the rounds that he couldn't do when hid hands were tied — one of the few men that jayden trusted completely to finish the task successfully.

[break][break] of the many that he wanted to check in on that had been hospitalized as a result of the warring battle, there was that of his childhood friend. Victoria Beckett.

jayden cross 's garden is one that is now maintained in his backyard in sootopolis city. thanks to the waterfront city, he was able to move his aquatic plants without issue, but now he's working on growing other types of berries and fruits. sometimes he uses the vegetables in his garden to make salads of his own.[break][break]

caden maher 's garden is an aerogarden that he maintains by himself in his apartment. it's mostly herbs and things, which he uses to season his food, but fortunately very easy upkeep. it has to be, after all, with all the hours he works during his shifts in lilycove general hospital.

it is unsurprising, but luciano fisk 's terrace is one that is befitting of one that should be featured in an issue of architectural digest. that being said, most of the plants were purchases from his mother or other such things. his backyard in lilycove is an immense breadth of property, displaying his many sculptures and masterpieces.

ollie morales has a few plants in his home in EVERGRANDE but due to his job as a ranger, he's rarely home. as a result, he often sends any plants he gets over to his good friend willow atkins, because she's always been good at taking care of plants better than him.

mila alexopoulos has a few flowers decorated both inside and outside PRIMARINA. most are leafy and green, taken care of by her own primarina, vera. gardeners are scheduled to come every few weeks to repot the plants and the soil outside the establishment. after all, there wouldn't be any customers if the storefront wasn't kept beautiful. she likes to use berries and homegrown herbs in her own cooking, though she's not as good as Gunner Graves.
