[break][break] and now, like a blossom thought lost to winter's frost, here was Elisabeth Fiorelli, just as howard slayte had predicted.

[break][break] perhaps that is the reason that the abirtor of the city, the man who's knuckles still held remains of crushed petals and dried blood, can be found not in the town's center but towards the city's far-most edge, examining unearthed plates left in the wake of regirock's wrath.

[break][break] the shadows behind howard slayte suddenly distorts, a ripple of darkness unfolding as a figure steps out from the depths of a PHANTOM FORCE portal, bringing with him a familiar chill. framed by the glimmer of his illumina dragapult, jayden cross's gaze locks onto howard slayte, his expression as cold and unyielding as one of his HATEFUL daggers.

[break][break] "how are you doing?" he said instead, brushing aside her foolish request. he stepped forward, bottom lip jutted out into a slight frown once he noticed her condition. her hair was damp, her voice unusually soft — almost frail. oh, of course. it all made sense to him. it suddenly clicked together.

[break][break] "... you're sick?" he asked, reaching forward to touch her forehead with the back of his hand.

[break][break] at that same moment, his shiny umbreon leaped onto the foot of the bed. unlike her trainer, lada had more sense. she felt the other's emotional distress and moved closer, nuzzling gently beneath the woman’s chin. her rings pulsed a soft sapphire as MOONLIGHT trickled into the room, hopefully giving energy to the other where she felt none.
