The guy, Rick, was certainly sure of himself. If Cogimo wouldn't be so stressed he would find it quite hot, but, as mentioned before, he didn't have time to have a [gay moment]. What he, though, allowed himself is a exhale, releasing the tension in his stiff shoulders.[break]"You weren't here when they tried to tie me up with ropes. Or used Markiz here as target practice." He then bent down to start picking up some stuff from the ground, noticing his ferroseed, Boink, just laying there as a metal seed should.[break]"Right...You aren't really up for the task here, buddy." The pokemon's eyes let his trainer know that it wasn't impressed just before it was sucked back in his Pokeball.[break]"You can't imagine how happy I will be once he becomes mobile. Boink is my second oldest pokemon."[break]Cogimo spoke as he set the nearby lamp standing back straight, time to time glancing up whenever there was any noise.[break]"Mo? I guess. Can't say anyone has called me anything but Cogimo before. Except for my ex, but that's a whole different thing. Anyway, we should, probably, go up and help my pokemon look, but I also, kind of, want to get things arranged here just in case the parents come home early. I did not expect this to turn out so messy at all." The boy sight.

Snorlax in the middle of a road was, probably, one of the oldest problems known for mankind. Cogimo now wondered just how many of these huge creatures had to be moved in a year so they wouldn't block traffic. He also wondered if he should find a cafe for some breakfast as the curry smelled quite nice.[break]"Quite early for social work, no? Can't say I can blame the big guy from sleeping here as I would do the same if I could." Unfortunately, a certain mushroom pokemon had different plans for his morning.[break]
"Kind of? I didn't have a solid plan, to be honest. Just went for a walk while in the town. You know, morning air and all that." While talking to the girl he couldn't shake off the feeling that he had seen her somewhere before. Honestly, he usually doesn't pay much attention to girls, but this one felt familiar somehow. Or, at least, seen before.[break]"Are you, maybe, from Slateport university? Cause...I think I have seen you somewhere and it's there or Rustboro City."[break]
While talking, though, Dementi decided she wanted to have a closer look at the snorlax behind everyone. The pokemon was still drowsy, sniffing the air to locate where the food was. It got distracted, though, by the tiny morelull walking up to it. She stared at the big creature with strong intensity, getting closer and closer. The snorlax didn't even manage to comprehend how before the tiny being was already on his shoulder. The next thing that everyone heard was a loud slam as the fat pokemon passed out on the ground, pink spores floating around it and Dementi looking innocently at the trainers on top of the creature just awoken.

Yui Fujin Silph

The fight with demon-children continued, Cogimo stopping the rascals when they pulled darts out of somewhere. What were they even thinking? Unfortunately, that only forced them to come up with a new way to make his life miserable. As of five minutes ago, the boy had no idea where either of the little monsters was hiding. From one point it was good, it was peaceful, but seeing how these children were acting, he rather have them in sight.[break]
Suddenly, the doorbell rang, Cogimo rushing to check who was it. Hopefully, it would be the guy Kily arranged and he hoped it was a reasonable adult. They existed, right? What Derrick would see, after waiting for a minute or so, was a disheveled, panting boy opening the door, a smile on his face but eyes screaming for the sweet release of death. Behind him, an aegislash was floating in his shield form, the ghost pokemon showing no emotions.[break]"Hey..." And Cogimo's brain shut off at the sight of muscle. Kyle had betrayed him.[break]
Snapping out of his stupor, the student pulled his eyes from the man's chest to his face. He didn't have time to have another gay panic. Not now, at least. "Hey! I hope you're the guy Kyle promised would help me. If not...I still need help, so come in." After closing the front door Cogimo was already pulling out all of his pokemons, pulling them out.[break]"So, listen to me. Two kids, terrible attitude, hiding somewhere. Find them, try to restrain them, but no hurting." He then turned to the guy, "I might have lost the kids..."

The sun was high in the sky, reflecting against the thick, white snow. The air was cold and crisp, frost bitting Cogimo's cheeks, as well as, fingertips. He knew that he should have worn gloves. Maybe a hat as the boy's ears felt particularly cold, but the boy did wake up with morelull hovering over him in their hotel room. Waiting. Wanting to go out for a walk. He for sure wasn't about to say no.[break]
As they were staying in Mauville at the moment he decided to take Route 110. Everything was in deep snow, the actual route barely there. It was early, so Cogimo didn't expect to see many people. And good thing as he didn't trust Dementi. What he didn't expect was to see a snorlax in the middle of the road, recently awoken, and a girl that seemed quite proud for some reason.[break]"Ummm...Hello? Do you need any help?"

Ever since the start of January, when his trainer course started, Cogimo kept finding himself in the most ridiculous situations. Yes, some of them were caused by him, his pokemon, or the boy's inability to properly human. Like now, when he took what seemed like a simple job. Someone snacking on magicarps. Nothing grand. And, honestly, it still wasn't anything grand, but the boy hadn't expected to be put in front and MADE TO WORK WITH a whole meal. That is, a man. Human. Look, he couldn't work with hot guys![break]
Ever since he arrived, expected just a couple of overweight mall security guys, he has been looking anywhere but the guy's sharp jawline...Or dreamy eyes...Or the earrings he really wanted to bite. Yes, Cogimo was all into watching the security tapes.[break]
He was, actually, so into it that when the guy spoke to him the youngest of Shimaru's didn't hear him first. Only after a couple of painful seconds, he came to it, turning so he would be starring at the guy's forehead. It was a nice forehead. A hot forehead.[break]"Damm it!" The student realized he said aloud, his face growing ten shades of red, probably, matching his winter jacket.[break]"I mean...Ummm...Cogimo. My name's Cogimo. This is Dementi." He pointed at the morelull next to his feet that seemed to bob its upper body to some unheard tune. Probably, her master's funeral march. "I don't really have any ideas, so...I'm all ears...Yes..." He was ready for the sweet release of death.

Cogimo loves children. Or, at least, he thought he did. Babies were okay and kids never bothered him. To be honest, if he ever would settle down with a loving husband he would like to have children that could inherit his family farm. But now, sitting in some rich guy's fancy kitchen while two monsters in form of human children were distracted by his poor Markiz. They were throwing different objects at the shield and sword pokemon to see if anything can get through its shield form. Cogimo will own his week's worth of poketreats.[break]
While the little hellions were busy, he pulled out his mobile and dialed Kily's number. After a couple of beeps, he picked up sounding a bit lost of breath.[break]"Hey! What's up?"[break]"Hi! Remember that babysitting gig I got? Well...I need help. Badly...And quickly, if possible." There was some grunting in the background, as well as, someone else voice. Suddenly, Shimaru remembered the date his friend mentioned, as well as, some unsavory details regarding what he wanted to do to the said date.[break] "Never mind! I just remembered stuff. You can't make it."[break]"Sorry, but hey! I know a guy, a good guy, that can help. At least I can ask him." Can't say he liked how that sound, though, at that moment he was ready to accept any option, really. Such, Cogimo gave his approval and prayed to gods that it won't turn into even a bigger mess than it was already.

Seeing a clamperl was expected on the beachside. What was more of a surprise, the cleffa he found a moment later. Not like it was completely unexpected, pokemon could be found in the strangest of places, but he didn't know that cleffas were nocturnal. This actually made him think about exactly how much he didn't know yet, even being in his second year. Maybe this trainer thing won't be that bad.[break]
No matter, the pokemon was there, didn't seem afraid, and was quite adorable. Cottonee level of adorable, though, Cogimo would never say that out loud. Before he got a chance to catch it, though, the pink thing noticed either the boy or his aegislash, made a terrified squeaking noise, and dashed away as quickly, as it's tiny legs allowed. "Well...That was disappointing."[break]
Pass

The boy let out a heavy sight, facing his aegislash. The floating ghost was just kept starring. Silent.[break]
"I'm overthinking this, aren't I? Heck," he laughed resuming to walk along the coast, "we don't really need to even get a badge or something. Just have proof that we tried."[break] Cogimo suddenly stopped once he understood that something that seemed like a rock at the beginning, turned out to be a closed clamperl. The boy's eyes widened in wonder before he looked around to see if anyone else was here. As previously mentioned, the beach was barren at 4 am, him, Markiz, and the clamperl being the only living beings alive. There was a moment when he considered throwing a pokeball at it, but...He had enough with Boink as an unmoveable, living object.[break] As they moved forward, Cogimo started to wonder, "You know what, Markiz? We could walk and look around a bit more. Maybe we will get something out of this walk besides the fresh sea air." The pokemon just diligently floated next to him.

Winter may have arrived in Hoenn region but it didn't mean Cogimo had nothing to do for his botanic course. Between all the papers, exams, and pop quizzes he could call it the hardest course so far. And if he was glad that with winter all the planting would stop, well...He had another thing coming.[break]
You see, while not the greenest city, Slatesport had few small greenhouses that were used for berry growing. Some of them offered the space if the students would be willing to help with the harvest. And, really, someone should write a complaint about using students as free labor. Not Cogimo, of course, as he would do about anything to avoid writing another paper. He was out of words two months ago.[break]
Once the boy arrived at one of these greenhouses, he needed to admit that they were much bigger than he first expected. It fit quite a few people, many strangers to the boy. The air was dense with moisture and the smell of ripe berries. One would think that Cogimo will be diligent in listening to the orders of the gardener, but, and this was a problem, the gardener was hot. Like, I live in the gym hot, and the boy was too busy trying to NOT stare at the man's chest. This means when everyone split up to do their assignments...Cogimo had no idea what was happening. Should he ask someone? Probably. The guy who was at fault for this situation had left somewhere, so the youngest Shimaru had no other choice but to poke the shoulder of a nearby lady.[break]
"Excuse me! Ummmm...How should I...Well...Whatwasthetask!!?" He really, really hope his red cheeks could be accounted to the heat in the building.

It was strange being out and Cogimo knew it. The sun hasn't risen yet and the weather was quite cold as expected from early January. The beach was barren, void of any life but some birds in the sky. He expected things to stay like that for another couple of hours, if not more, as it was barely 4 am. He enjoyed the silence, even if his eyes hurt from lack of sleep and his body felt filled with led. It was nice being able to leave the house while still enjoying the solitude.[break]
Shimaru stopped for a moment to observe the vast blackness that was the ocean during the night. While it was cold enough for his breath to show the water was still free, unrestrained. The boy noticed a movement from the corner of his eye and a moment later Markiz was floating next to him in his shield form. There was a small smile on Cogimo's face.[break]
"Seems like I wasn't the only one that went for a walk in the night. Would ask if you couldn't sleep, but I'm still not sure if you do so at all." He then laughed, feeling his pokemon's eye staring at him.[break]
"Me? Just a lot on my mind. We soon need to start gathering a team if I want to get at least a single badge. I really don't want to blow this, you know." Why did life need to be so hard?
