Seemed like everything was coming for him that day. It didn't take a minute before someone spoke up. Damm, Cogimo hoped to be able to give himself one pep talk before embarrassing himself, but no, Whimsy was safe and sound in a lap of a very, very good looking man. The student was definitely having a conversation with the puffball after all this.[break]"H-Hello...Yes...That's mine. He's mine, yes!" He continued while pointing at his pokemon. Whimsy had decided that he liked the man in whose lap he was sitting but it was a big man, much bigger than his trainer, which meant that the cotton puff pokemon needed to explore. He started or attempted, to climb the man, aiming for his head. Cogimo only whimpered,[break]"Whimsy, please, come back. I promise I won't put you in a shower afterward." Markiz, though, had a completely opposite attitude, the pokemon floating behind Cogimo, his one stone eye focussed on the larger male.[break]"My apologies for Whimsy..." Now only to hope that there will be no questions. This man didn't look like no question man, though.

Billi Marsh

The girl seemed like a completely different person when in a stressful situation. She definitely had a great set of pipes, and, for sure, knew how to use them when screaming for her life. It would be almost amusing if they wouldn't have been chased by a snorlax.

Now, though, he was just nervous. Yes, it seemed that the huge pokemon had stopped chasing them but if that thing was hungry...And Whimsy was in its way...Cogimo really didn't want to think of that option. In that place he opened yet another pokeball, releasing his Aegislash from it. As the pokemon saw the distress in his trainer's eyes he instantly went into shield stance to be between the boy and the blond girl.[break]"Markiz, it's fine! She's...Decent." The pokemon slowly turned to face his trainer, "Be a sweetheart and check if you can find Whimsy, please!" Without any noise the huge sword melted in its own shadow, leaving both alone again.[break]
That didn't last long, though, as suddenly Cogimo saw the snorlax, and then, Whimsy. The cottonee was being hugged and nuzzled by the oversized creature, both purring from happiness. The humans were completely ignored as if the chase scene never happened.[break]"Don't tell me...You charmed him, didn't you?" Cause, yes, it was a male snorlax, and yes, this wasn't the first time the tiny ball of fluff had used this move to make pokemons, and people, to like him.[break]"You're a tiny, tiny player. Hope you know that." If he did, Whimsy didn't care. What, though, came to Cogimo's attention was Demini...On the snorlax's head...[break]"Oh no..." Another puff of purple spores and, both, Whimsy, as well as, his new friend, fell asleep. The student stared at the scene for a second or before chuckling quietly as walked up to the three, picked up Whimsy, and motioned for Demini to follow. He then motioned the girl into the direction of the town.[break]"Let's go and report this one to the rangers. And, in the meanwhile, you can finally tell me your name." The boy laughed, "And I will buy breakfast after all the calories we ran off."

Yui Fujin Silph

Now, the next one he saw a couple of minutes later was a completely different story. Sturdy stone body with red crystals growing out of it. The sun was reflecting off them and in body shape, the pokemon reassembled a crab. Maybe a spider. Nevertheless, this one Shimaru didn't want to pass up and, such, he didn't think twice before attempting to catch it off guard.

Well, this was a beauty now. Big, strong, healthy Tauros grazing the grass, looking majestic in the evening sun. Nice indeed. Cogimo gave a stare to Whimsy, then to Tauros, then Whimsy again. The Cottonee seemed confused at first but soon started its happy chirping as it was charging another [Sun Blast]. The trainer quickly waved his hands to stop the pokemon and he got lucky when the grass fairy did.[break]"[Cotton Spores], please!" Another chirp and the pokemon flew out of their hiding spot and above the Tauros. Once on it, the spores started to quickly turn into thick cotton, Cogimo using that moment to throw his pokeball.

Cogimo had a feeling that the girl maybe didn't want the whole roll. Oh well, he had been up way too many hours now and didn't feel the usual guilt that appears whenever he did something embarrassing. What the boy felt, though, was awkward while watching the exchange between the two strangers. Suddenly something pulled his shirt from behind, Cogimo noticing an Alola version of Grimer. The special metal band around its arm showed that it was one from the farm.[break]"Griiimmmeeeerrr..." The colorful poison pokemon said, pointing at its gaping mouth.[break]"Emmmm, mister?" Cogimo spoke up while feeling his shyness slowly coming back as he took in the man's appearance. The boy was set for it to not bother him as he had a hungry Grimer to feed.[break]"If you are done with your bag..." Shimaru checked the name written on the wrist band, "Daffodil...Really, mom? Daffodil can take it. He's hungry." The Grimer named Daffodil extended his hands in a baby like grabby motion. Cogimo cooed quietly at the pokemon as it acted cute even for a walking toxic mucus.

Valerio Dachev , Stormy Silph

Cogimo grumbled an agreement, for a moment putting a bigger focus on a particular berry plant that seemed to have first signs of rot. At the same time, the boy also had a nagging thought that the pink-haired girl's name seemed familiar. At least, heard before. Did he maybe knew any other Selenas and just had forgotten? Cogimo wouldn't put it past him. His attention, though, was really brought back when she started to discuss pokemon.[break]"Oh, believe me, I know exactly how social pokemons are. My parents run something of a shelter slash farm thing. Growing up in a place like that it's one of the first things you learn. Especially, when other pokemon moms try to constantly steal you out from your crib." The young student laughed, remembering how much fun he had with that as a child.[break]"Do you have any pokemon on your own?"

Selena Desmarais

As the man, Alek, took up Cogimo's offer for shaved ice he started speaking out facts about the ferroseed the student had been carrying. The boy's eyes were wide in wonder, mouth turned into a small 'o'. It wasn't that Cogimo didn't know these things about his own pokemon, but when the man spoke it did sound so much more intelligent. On top of that, he sounded sure about the facts. Like he trusted himself. The boy couldn't relate.[break]"No, no! Do go on! What else you know?" At that moment Whimsy, his cottonee, landed on the boy's brown head, demanding affection.[break]"Got tired little buddy? Hey," Cogimo yet again focused on this Alek individual, "what do you know about cottonees? Or, maybe..." The boy looked at the morelull that was sitting on his shoulder, "Yeee, what do you know about cottonees?"

There was a tiny sting of disappointment seeing the man go, but he understood with how eventful was the evening. He couldn't shake the feeling, though, that it wasn't the only reason why this Rick fellow fled, but oh well, Shimaru couldn't really say that he was the coolest guy to hang around. The only thing he really could do was lead him out with a tight lip smile, wishing him to have a safe trip home.[break]
The rest of the evening was then spent cleaning up the mess on the first floor, as well as, going through some gym possibilities. Can't say any really spoke out to him. When the parents got home he gave them the whole good-neighbors-kid attitude that older people loved, explaining the whole fiasco with the wild pokemon and reassuring that their kids were fine. Once the money was in his hand the boy bolted, swearing to never do this again.

He should have learned about now that allowing his Cottonee out on windy days is a big no-no. But the boy was a bit tired from his trip to Petalburg City, as well, his pokemons gave their trainer soul-clenching eyes. At least, Whimsy did. Demini was still staring in the guy's soul, Markiz was emotionless as always, and Boink...Well, Ferroseeds didn't move a lot. So, it was Cogimo's fault, when he decided to go for a walk in Petalburg's forest. And it was his fault that at one point he got distracted by an ice-cream stall, cause the next thing he knew, the cotton puff pokemon was high in the air as the mid-day breeze was taking him away. "Shit! Not again..."[break]
Cogimo was capable of catching up on Whimsy enough to see where he was floating but not enough to actually capture him. The pokeball was also out of range and he had no flying pokemons. Perfect. Soon something that looked like a warehouse appeared, though, it looked heavily overgrown.
Maybe it was abandoned? And while he was ready to feel relieved, no way his pokemon would get over the roof, this relief disappeared quickly. The roof had holes. Whimsy got in through one of those holes.[break]
Cogimo stopped, staring at the entrance of the place as he bit his nails. Markiz soon caught up to his trainer, as well as, the rest of his pokemons. Boink was safely inside his pokeball. The student turned in the direction of the building, cogs in his brains working at snail's pace.[break]"Guys...I think this is a gym. Fuck, this is Petalburg's Gym." Now Shimaru really was panicking. He remembered checking the place online when trying to decide with which gym he could start. In the end, Cogimo couldn't do it and just binge-watched a whole season of some trendy cooking show.[break]"This wasn't how I planned it. What if they want me to actually fight? Or they won't give Whimsy back because I lost him?" To such ideas Markiz instantly went from shield form to sword form, showing readiness to fight.[break]"Calm down, Markiz..." A deep sight, countdown from 10 to 0 and he attempted to get in through what looked like the entrance, "Anyone here!?"

Billi Marsh

After the whole disaster in Slateport Cogimo's parents came here to assist with any injured or lost pokemon. For a while, the boy helped with that but then picked up some cleaning tasks when it was clear that his parents won't need the boy's assistance. He was pretty sure that when all pokemon will be accounted for he will need to put signs out for those whose owners won't come themselves. Cogimo was quite sure that the family's farm will receive quite a few new, permanent, residents. Sadly, it is what it is.[break]
Throughout the day his Aegislash, Markiz, was keeping him silent company, like always, but today it felt less than he was trying to guard the boy against everything but more...He was concerned? Shimaru wasn't sure as the silent greatsword was quite hard to read. Everyone was hard to read, to be honest. With such a mood, it was that the student heard someone asking for more trash bags. He had plenty, a full backpack really, and no problem giving a roll to whoever needed it. Cogimo slowly walked up to her, Markiz floating closely behind him, and extended his hand to give her the sought item.[break]"Hey! Did you need one? They are going out like hotcakes, I guess." Yes, it wasn't a happy conclusion but oh well.

Stormy Silph

It seems he had got the attention of the pink-haired girl as not even ten minutes later she arrived, with commentary that made his face blossom into a red mess. Somewhere in the background, Boink made a sound. Cogimo glared at the metal seed before, with a tight-lipped smile, speaking to the girl.[break]"Hahaha, I wouldn't say like. He's just attractive and I'm not that good with functioning around attractive guys. If possible, I try to avoid them just because of all the messy situation it has got me in." The boy put some berries in the food crates before continuing speaking. If she was here might as well try making friends.[break]"I'm Cogimo, by the way. He's..." He pointed in the direction of the Ferroseed, "Boink. I think he isn't used to be inside a pokeball for so long and has been getting out on his own, recently. That, or maybe all of my pokeballs are broken." The student chuckled as the object of his conversation made a displeased noise.[break]"That guy was sure dedicated to talking with you, though. Are you sure you weren't the one who just got flirted with?"

Selena Desmarais

For a moment he thought he had hit the jackpot but it seemed that Cogimo's cottonee had a different opinion. As the adorable Duskull was slowly approaching them a strong gust of [Fairy Wind] surrounded the poor ghost pokemon, sending it packing away. Without looking back the tiny black-robed creature flew in the sky without looking back.[break]"Whimsy!? Why did you do that?" The boy whined while his pokemon just kept humming some sort of tune, oblivious to it's master's misery.

Pass

He couldn't feel any more embarrassed as he did at that moment, quite convinced that this Adrian guy will think he's some kind of weirdo. Cogimo couldn't even blame him. He felt like some sort of weirdo. But the boy did suck it up, putting all his focus on the picture of the pokemon. Okay...This plan, kind of, made sense. But also made him question why did they need whole two trainers for this?[break]

It has been now hours since they decided on the plan, as well as, executing it. The problem now was the waiting. Cogimo couldn't really disappear, such he had kept to himself as much as possible. Blood had taken permanent residence in his cheeks, it felt like his thin t-shirt had been made from heat packs and the boy couldn't stop sneaking in some glances at the cool-looking cutie. So much for professionalism.
But Adrian's question made the youngest Shimaru wonder, "What if they won't be coming tonight?" After he said that the security guy looked almost mad before mumbling something about getting coffee and leaving. Cogimo decided it would be for the best hiding behind his phone, screaming at his friend Kyle about "the hot emo boy". His only reply was "pics or didn't happen" which made the boy scoff. But then again, his partner was looking at him at the moment (THANKS GODS!!!) and it was quite a lovely side profile. The student then slowly opened his camera app, carefully angled it without looking too suspicious, and clicked to take a picture. All the blood that was in his face moment ago left as loud shutter noise filled the empty room. With horror clear in his face, he spoke,[break]"Would you believe me if I said that was my...Selfie...Camera..." Somewhere in the background his morelull was slowly getting bored.
