Cogimo wasn't sure about what he was seeing. His pokedex told him that the creature's species was barbaracle, 7 pokemon in one body. Or something like that. He wasn't sure. The boy also didn't think twice before releasing Whimsy and muttering, "...solar blast," before turning around, going to the opposite direction of the pokemon that was now blasted with balls of sunlight. This wasn't the day for odd whatever-things.

I can very well imagine Cogimo annoying the shit out of Yui without realizing it. And...Maybe continuing it after he realizes that XD If we put them in a couple more missions together I could see the whole frenemy thing happening Yui can be the competent one and Cogimo can be "what happens if I push this red button" guy ^w^

Great. Not only Cogimo ended up bothering someone who was here for a completely different reason, but it also seemed they were important. If the hot-neighbor-gardener attitude was anything to go by. And that brought him to his second issue, the gardener WAS BACK and he was LOOKING AT COGIMO. The boy could feel the blood pumping in his face, as well as, getting embarrassingly hot under his collar.[break]"Ummm...I...That is...University...I will go to the winter berries, thank you!" And Shimaru was off to the berry patch as if his life depended on it.[break]
Once there it didn't take long before he got the grasp of where everything was placed, as well as, how he should do it. This, for sure, wasn't the first time picking berries, even if usually it had been done in one of the huge fields his family owned. But as he started to work Cogimo wondered if the girl from before was anyone important. It seemed so, but Cogimo had always a tendency to live in his own bubble and successfully ignoring everything that happened outside of it. This train of thought, though, didn't last long before bright light erupted from his backpack and Boink, the ferroseed, appeared on the ground. Just...Laying there.[break]"I should really get those pokeballs checked." The boy muttered before smiling at the pokemon, petting his metal shell. "Hey buddy! Got bored, hmmm? Well...Doubt you can help, but, if no one says anything to us, you can stay." The boy exhaled before getting back to work.

Seemed like no big damage was done as the girl possessed a milktank.[break]"Right! They could heal. Cool!" And he did mean it, even if they look a bit odd for Cogimo. Not a lot, he has seen weirder pokemon at the farm, but, for sure, wouldn't have one on his own team. Maybe. But that really didn't matter at that moment, as the Snorlax soon awakened and...They weren't in a good mood. Before the boy really knew it both were running away from an angry ball of fat.[break]"Well, at least we got them off the road." Cogimo yelled while still running between the trees, the girl having a vice-like grip on him. One of his pokeball suddenly burst open, Whimsy appearing in front of both as it made happy chirping noises.[break]"Sorry, buddy! Can't play now. Busy with running for our lives." He yelled to the Cottonee as they went past him. The cotton puff pokemon didn't seem to mind, facing the big brute that was chasing them and just...Smiling.[break]
In meanwhile, both kept running until Cogimo picked up that the ground wasn't shaking from something heavy stomping on it. He stopped, but the blond was still attached to his arm, and that made both fall on their buts as their balance had been disturbed.[break]"Ouch! Sorry about that!" The brunette apologized, slowly getting up and offering his hand to assist the girl. "Listen, though...Quiet. That thing stopped following us." And Shimaru wanted to exhale in relief but the image of Whimsy went through his mind. Right, he had left his pokeball...And the Snorlax had been still following them for sure.[break]"Fuck! Where's my Cottonee!?"

Yui Fujin Silph

With a pleased smile he picked up the pokeball. It was a strange feeling indeed to capture, officially, his first pokemon and there was an underlying worry that he's taking the little critter from its home, but...He honestly hoped it wasn't as dramatic as he now imagined it. And the boy didn't have a lot of time to wonder about such things anyway as only a moment later he spotted a tiny Dedenne. Cogimo wanted to throw the pokeball, cause cute, but no luck as the tiny mouse pokemon saw him before, quickly disappearing in the underbrush. Oh well...

General: Cogimo is 20 y/o Slateport university student that decided to get higher education that could help with managing his family pokemon farm. A place where hurt/abused pokemon can stay and rehabilitate. The current drama is that he never thought of pokemon training, but, apparently, it's required to attempt being a trainer for, at least, one year. Cogimo is confused, doesn't know where to start, and is afraid of hurting his pokemon/pride in the gyms.[break]
Friends: You can say that he's friend to all...But not really. A social butterfly that always has a certain distance with himself and everyone else. The exception are pokemon. Though, once they are friends the guy is quite tactile, as well as, an oversharer. Not only that, he loves field trips and isn't against dragging someone out of bed at 5 AM.[break]
Enemies: He never really had them and still doesn't. If Cogimo doesn't like someone he usually just deletes their presence from his mind. They could be there and he won't care. It would be interesting seeing someone actually ticking him off.[break]
Relationship: Cogimo is a proud gay tragedy with a new crush every week. Most never find out about it, some turn into good friends rare few he even ends up dating. He's a mess and knows it.

One of the first goals after leaving for his trainer trip was home. Cogimo missed home, mom, dad, and all the pokemon on the farm. And they missed him as well. He bought a bus ticket, packed stuff for few days, saying goodbye to his dorm. Once home the boy got tons of love, though, his parents felt like they needed to give him 1001 advice on what to do regarding gym badges. Shimaru, kind of, didn't want to tell them that he wasn't aiming for actually getting any. This all was more for points in class than anything else. But since he was there, the boy could at least visit route 115 to see if he can add someone to the mix.

Hot, cute and sweet. Cogimo could feel how his brain wanted to open the door, labeled, "gay panic", but he had made a promise to babysit these brats and it would help anyone if he would start malfunction as the broken gay he is. Such, the youngest Shimaru kept his eyes on the guy's face, smiled when he wanted to put someone at ease while replying to the muscled man.[break]"I think it has been five, if not, six years now. Unlike most of my pokemon, Boink isn't rescue or a child of a rescue. Found him in some caves, thinking he's a cool-looking rock. I wasn't a smart kid." He wasn't a smart adult as well, but no one needs to know that. "What's your pokemon?"[break]
It was slightly obvious that Rick wasn't...Comfortable, but was trying his best to change that. And Cogimo couldn't blame anything but his own nerves. He tried easing the air around both males himself, but, at least from Cogimo's perspective, did the complete opposite.[break]"Awwww, aren't you the cutest!" Yes, he said that. Shimaru's ears turned and he was almost thankful when he heard the sound of something breaking. What was less pleasant to hear was the sound of children screaming from fear soon after.[break]"Shit..."

His classmates weren't exaggerating when they said that the safari was beautiful. It had this peaceful, tranquil air, decorations doing just exactly what was needed to make everything look festive. But, like, spiritual festive. Cogimo focused less on capturing something and more on just enjoying his time. That is until he noticed the wild Buneary hopping around, trying to reach one of the paper boats floating in the river.[break]"Whimsy, be a dear and help that cute Buneary over there, alright?" The cotton puff pokemon made an agreeing noise before floating to the paper boat and pushing it near the coast. The wild pokemon grabbed it, making pleasing sounds on its own before Shimaru went and threw the pokeball provided by the safari.

"Oh..." Cogimo exclaimed, things getting clearer. "That would explain why you seemed familiar. I started Slateport university last year and may have seen you or something. Plus, last year I did my generic courses and computer study was one of them." He shuddered in memory of that, "Never again."[break]He needed to admit it, though, that she did look young for someone with a master's. Maybe she was just one of those women that were 100 years old but looked in their twenties. Which...Good for her, Cogimo guessed. If, though, she was around his age...Well, he won't try to think what that meant about him and his degree.[break]"That's impressive! What are you..."[break]
But he never managed to make his question, as the Snorlax passed out with a loud boom. What was even worse, seeing Demini on top of the sleeping giant, all proud-looking. Cogimo was opening and closing his mouth as a Magicarp on dry land. Without words, the boy pulled out his pokeball, calling the Morelull back in.[break]"Would you believe if I said that I had a nightmare that started like this? Only there was a rain of Slugmas in the background." The boy then walked closer to the sleeping Snorlax.[break]"Maybe we can wake him up again with the curry?" Cogimo really hoped the girl will allow him to help now that Demini had gotten the boy in this situation.

Yui Fujin Silph

He couldn't believe his luck, a whole swarm of Arcanines. Cogimo will be honest, he has always been a bit jealous of the one his mother had, as well as, whenever he saw one of the police pokemon. They were hard to find, coveted really. Though, most fire pokemon were. Now, while hiding behind a bush, he was trying to make as little of sound, as possible. The last thing the boy needed was for the pokemon to run away, or even worse, attack him. The youngest Shimaru realized only now that all of his pokemon were vulnerable against fire. Boink in particular. He waited, you can say almost stalled his time, till the student could stand the stress anymore and just threw his Pokeball, praying. To whom...He will figure that out afterward.

To be honest, the plan didn't sound even if he could do without the slamming gesture. The bad boy appearance was causing problems already. But those were details no one needed to know. Cogimo kept staring somewhere above his eyes, nodding approvingly.[break]"Yeee...Sounds good...No objections." It was a simple plan. Hopefully, their culprit will have a taste for...Actually, what was a grapploct? Probably, a water pokemon, if they were planning to put it in a pond. Right?[break]"In case something happens, I have two pokemon that can put our troublemaker to sleep. Let's hope, though, that your..." He then made the mistake of locking eyes with the other male, taking in how his eyebrows were nice and sharp, "Eyebrows...I mean, nice eyebrows...No, not nice...I mean, yes. No, I mean, your pokemon. I mean...What are we putting in the pond again?" Kanto couldn't be THAT bad as a region, right?
