ACROSS THE WOODS OF ROUTE 101, a group of Arcanine and Growlithe play. Their majestic manes of hair billow in the soft cool breeze. The species is a rare encounter in the wild, and while law enforcement may instruct Growlithe with ease, catching one straight from the wilderness is a different ordeal involving luck and prowess. But mostly luck, since you'll all be rolling anyway.[break][break]

in order to qualify for the capture, you must ROLL using the ROLL COMMAND. after, INCLUDE A REFERENCE TO OFFICER JENNY OF THE POKEMON FRANCHISE somewhere in your post. you may use an image, gif, use an analogy, figurative language, etc.
the highest roll will earn a shiny arcanine; the second highest roll will earn a normal arcanine, and the lowest roll will net a growlithe. the gender of the pokemon can be decided by the recipient.
the attempted capture will not consume a pokéball.
everyone who participates will receive a LUCKY LETTER.
the arcanine/growlithe have movesets that will be revealed at the end of the event.

Growlithe hardly ever got a chance to stretch his legs. With his trainer having so many other fire-type pokemon and other pokémon in general, the Puppy Pokémon went a bit neglected.

It was that reason that Sénon Game was casually following the pup in the boondocks of Hoenn beyond Oldale.

If he remembered right Littleroot town was a bit up ahead, but seemingly they wouldn't be getting there for some time. The walk started out normal enough but before long he was chasing the pup in a full sprint through the woods and shortly there after surrounded my Growlithe and Arcanine.

Quite familiar with the species and heavily outnumbered he followed some cardinal rules to keep from becoming a snack.

He didn't approach their pups, kept his pup close by and stayed where the lot of them could see him. He'd found the gathering by coincidence but before long spectators rangers and officers alike would arrive, hoping to take one of these Majestic Kantonian breeds home.

The site of Arcanine and Growlithe playing around is a nostalgic sight. For a brief moment, he reminisces to superior officer jenny who oversaw his brief athletics training while serving under Interpol. Finding some fond memories in these trying times is enough to bring him slight joy as he pulls out a pokeball, casually lobbing it out at the crowd.

Chu-e hated the woods and also walking in them.

But there were DOGS on the line here, damnit! As soon as he had heard about the swarm, he had rushed out, pokeballs at the READY, to be one of the first people to get a shot at catching one.

Rumor has it, there was a big GOLDEN one out there somewhere. That's the one he wanted. It had been years since Sunshine had been killed but he still had so much fondness for the species, it would be wonderful to replace her.

So, when he got close enough and without any more preamble, Chu-e chucked a pokeball at the swarm and hoped.

"well ain't ya the cutest thing. c'moooon who wants to go with the hero huh? who's a good boy?" pokkenger had been out patrolling the area when news of a swarm of arcanine and growlithe reached his ears. that was something he couldn't pass up as he just adored those pokemon! now here he was petting a baby growlithe on its head while he slipped a ball from his belt and threw it into the crowd of other wild pokemon, hoping to add one of them to his team and join his firepaw in heroic patrols like he trained.

Another swarm? This shit never happened in Johto! Lex certainly picked the right region to run off to, didn’t she?

This time it was a pack of Growlithe and Arcanine playing together along Route 101. The canine pokemon were beautiful, she couldn’t see how anyone could argue that point. The evolved canids were especially majestic with their long, billowing manes that shone like the sun. Although it was beautiful, Lex couldn’t help but cringe. There was a uneasiness to the sight of a Growlithe for her. As a thief, she had some close run in with the laws in her time. The keen nose of a Growlithe could pick up her scent no matter how hard she tried to hide it. And behind every Growlithe was an Officer Jenny hot in pursuit of the criminal.

Regardless, Lex knew how useful the pokemon could be. With an eager grin, she tossed the empty pokeball in her hand at the closest pokemon, hoping to nab it for her growing collection.

kyle comes running in when he heard a bunch of growlithe and arcanine are spotted. doggy swarms were rare, almost never appearing whenever he's around. this time, he makes sure he makes it in time.

when he arrives in the scene, he feels his chest tighten with excitement and joy. the sheer euphoria of having a bunch of doggies all in one spot warms his heart that he can't believe that what he was looking at was reality.

with a phone in hand, kyle keeps snapping pictures of the arcanine pack in the meadows. it wasn't honestly different if he just takes all of his growlithes out, but wild arcanines are a much rarer scene. they were dirty though, but as long as it doesn't cover their cuteness, kyle doesn't mind.

instinctively, he takes out a pokeball and lobs it at the closest dog he can throw it to.

Seeing the swarm of Arcanine and Growlithe reminded Thomas of a group of police officers, all female, and seemingly related. The Jennies, who seemed to be in every Region, one to each city, was an odd thing to the trainer. Granted, they weren't bad to work with, while he was with the International Police, and one of them even gave him a Growlithe pup at one point, which eventually evolved into Rufus, his lovable Arcanine.

Willing to try his luck, and to see if he could bring home a friend for Rufus, Thomas tossed a Pokeball, hoping for the best.

Yui had heard of another fire swarm, of course there was! Yay!!!(sarcasm) she hated fire types but fernando was very pleased with the last one she managed to snag for him so maybe he'd like an arcanine too? She was always happy to give him pokemon since it seemed to be one of the few things he actually liked in this world. [break][break]

She went over to where she saw a swarm of arcanine just lounging around in the wild, her fear of fire flaring inside her once again only for a brief moment. She was determined to get her hands on one because it could possibly bring joy to someone else. she crouched down once again in a bush, similar to when she caught that scorbunny and then tried to soccer method of kicking the pokeball again at the pile of sleeping doggo pokemon to see if she'd be able to catch one like that. This was Chloe's first time ever seeing a growlithe in the wild. She was easily awed and instantly fell in love at the sight of the swarm. She admired them from quite the distance, last thing she wanted was to scare them off and have them run away. In any case, Chloe would love to have one apart of her team. She knew that luck would play an important part for that to happen, but there was nothing wrong with hoping. The few times Chloe managed to encounter a growlithe Officer Jenny always seemed to be by it's side. It really was the perfect partnership.. Her eyes were glued to the Arcanine majestic flowing mane.

He'd been taking a nap underneath the shade of a pine tree when the arcanine swarm had claimed the route for an afternoon jaunt. Waking up to the sounds of their pitter-patter as they dashed about was nostalgic for him, even distinct enough to bring a tear to his eye. It'd been almost a whole year now but he still wasn't over it.

But Adrian wasn't going to let sentimentality get in the way of a good capture, rising to his feet as the growlithe played among the brush, clasping a pokeball in hand.

Katherine would have never assumed that a swarm of Arcanine and Growlithe would be waiting for her outside of town. After all, these pokemon were supposedly OFFICER JENNY’S favorite. You’d expect them to be raised properly in a farm near a police academy.

But since these appeared to be untamed and belonged to no trainer, she was enticed by the idea of raising one herself.

After all, if that old cop can do it, why can’t she?

A capsule is retrieved from her bag, soon to be tossed at one of the less attentive members of the pack of dogs. She hopes to catch it by surprise.

ARCANINE SWARM

She’d heard about the swarm in Littleroot and decided to pay a visit. Arcanine were rare and valuable, and also strong and worth getting samples from. The tattered wings of her Hydreigon carried them lower into the trees. Returning it in exchange for a Houndoom, she then went out to watch the Arcanine and Growlithe as the passed by. Her dog sat at her feet, watching as well.

Lulu kept to the shade of the trees to steer clear of any watchful rangers, a hood pulled over her head. She tossed a pokeball at the nearest one, deciding against attacking. Better to air on the side of caution and not draw attention—from anyone, including the rest of the swarm.
