he laughed in an annoying way that only he could as choi told him that his pokemon was ugly as hell. yeah. he knew slushie was fucking ugly but that was part of the reason that he loved it. "it's an arctovish! it's a fucked up fossil pokemon from galar. his name is slushie." he pushed the plate full of fish sticks and cheese puffs towards the newcomer. "feel free, you gotta throw it in though or else it can't eat it. galar can't even fucking put a pokemon back together right. they have like, four different kinds of these shits and i have two of them. the other one is called jerky." but jerky could feed himself at least. his head wasn't on fucking backwards.

glitch laughed as he tossed another cheese puff into slushie's open mouth. the arctovish couldn't feed itself to it was always a spectacle trying to feed it. but he didn't mind. it was more entertaining than anything watching the gaping open mouth close around cheese puffs and occasionally some fish sticks that he got from the cafeteria. was it appropriate food for an ancient fossil pokemon? who the fuck knew. he wasn't a nerd ass scientist after all. so long as slushie was still alive and kicking it couldn't be the worst thing for him to eat. right?

what the fuck? that was all glitch could think as tauros came barreling towards the crowd and stalls. luckily button was still close by and the dreepy immediately shot back into his spot inside glitch's sleeve and while that relieved glitch there was still the issue that he could still come to harm. knowing dreepy wouldn't be able to do shit against such large pokemon he figured it was time to bring out the big guns.

the nearly six foot tall water and ice pokemon would do nicely to keep him safe. and of course maybe some other people probably. but he mostly cared about himself if he was being honest. he always mostly cared about himself. "stop them slushie!" he tucked behind the large pokemon he'd just released in the mid of the confusion.

but of course it was willing to help out. frilling out the flares on its neck the arctovish opened its mouth and let out a freeze-dry while using aurora veil to help mitigate any damage it took head on. after all, they had extremely hard heads.

charm in hand glitch was now bored again. he took it out and carefully clipped it to his bag instead, playing with the small jingling bell on the end of it. he'd be able to find someone new to bother in no time though he was certain. after all there were plenty of people in this place that were finally starting to relax. including someone who looked like a ditzy number that probably had a fat as hell wallet. especially if she was signing autographs or something like that. jingling the bell on his charm a couple more times he 'accidentally' tripped over the hem of his clothes, bumping into Melody Miro while simultaneously reaching for her wallet. what an easy fucking score this would be.

while button began to loot people's pockets for all they were worth, glitch started to look around a little bit at some of the stalls. some of them were selling food and some of them were selling little trinkets. he was mostly interested in the little trinkets truth be told. little different good luck charms were all over the place. he didn't exactly believe in luck, usually only in skill. but surely something as cute as a little darumaka charm would be fun to look at. even if it didn't give him any luck really. picking one up he smiled as the little bell inside the charm jingled a bit. bright red was one of his favorite colors after all. this would be perfect. he looked over a few of the other things as well, pretending to be indecisive, before slipping the charm into his pocket.

festivals were great when people still treated you like a child. 'don't do that glitch and don't do this.' still, he chewed on the caramel apple that he'd managed to pick up from one of the stalls. but he wasn't really concerned about all that. what he was concerned about was the fact that he hadn't managed to pick up anything good yet. plenty of people around and too many of them had been walking around with their purse strings pulled tight. but he was sure that eventually one or two of them would end up screwing themselves over. button was still curled up in his sleeve, watching and waiting for the signal that someone was being loose enough with their money for them to strike.

finally he noticed a bunch of people gathered around some sort of game. they were trying to catch some of those silly magikarps with those silly paper nets or whatever. what a good a time as any to strike. shaking his sleeve he let the ghostly dragon out of it to start to take a look at people while they were distracted. if nothing else they would maybe get a couple dollars off of this crowd. with any luck.
