before he could say much more about scams his phone beeped a little and suddenly a porygon appeared on his shoulder, tapping him gently to let him know that the download was done and that everything had been sent to his phone. god he loved this little living machine so fucking much. "well, i think i've done enough volunteer work for today. do you wanna go get a coffee and talk some more? i'll pay." it was rare that he ever offered to pay for anything but he felt like if he could dig his claws just a little bit more into her then maybe he could get some bonus points for recruiting someone into rocket. it would be fun. he grabbed his purse from behind the kiosk and stretched a little, letting joy-con get comfortable in his bag as the pokemon rested from all its hard work.

ok so while he was technically here for those little rock things, he couldn't help but be ecstatic when he saw a pony thing that matched c.c. absolutely perfectly. they had matching colors! meaning he absolutely needed to grab one. of course it seemed like the pony was wary of him but it probably just watched c.c. knock the shit out of the rock in his pocket. what a shame! he was totally like one of those maidens that a unicorn approached because he was just that pure and amazing. and the unicorn in question totally attacked the maiden or something because that was definitely what was happening now.

snorting and kicking its hooves or whatever the ponyta charged at glitch, horn down as it wanted to try and make this hurt. nice try though. c.c blocked the attack with the swipe of her weird hat hand, sending the other pokemon to the ground. what good was it for this ponyta to try and attack him when he had a fully evolved bitch ready to slap it for trying? "your cute but your really violent, just like me!" the ponyta seemed disgusted as she struggled to pick herself up from the ground. without hesitation glitch threw the pokeball as his hatterene held her hand up, ready to hit the shit out of it again if she got up all the way or out of the pokeball.

he sighed and pocketed the ring. of course it would be fake. it wouldn't have slipped off so easy if it wasn't. but it would at least be some cute costume jewelry later probably. or he could sell it to someone and fake it. "i have this friend, valerie, she does all this kind of weird stuff with gemstones so she'll probably know for sure." it wasn't that he didn't trust this stranger but, of course he didn't. he didn't really know anything about her. but that was fine. he didn't need to. "mermaids are cute though. you could dress up like a mermaid and definitely still be cute." guys went wild for that sort of thing didn't they? sailors or whatever loved mermaids for some reason. and those sailors were very, very, very, burly. "though i guess you wouldn't be able to move well like that. at least not on land. they've got those under water mermaid tails you can swim around in. that might be fun." maybe a day trip out to a place that had them or something.

oh my god he was just, so fucking lucky right now? as soon as he got to wandering a bit he managed to find one of those cute rocks. sure, it wasn't a BIG pokemon but it was bright and colorful and he wanted to decorate his room in them. that probably wasn't like, cruel or whatever. they would be warm and safe in his room after all. without hesitation he pulled out c.c.'s pokeball and let the fairy out. "just, beat it up or whatever i wanna put it in a pokeball." c.c. didn't really care for his instructions. she didn't really care about anything.

except for maybe beating the shit out of this little rock as she used dazzling gleam on the very confused rock. one moment it had been floating there and the next it was being hit by a very powerful fairy move. the outer shell shattered as glitch laughed a bit. wow, he didn't even knew they could do that. "do it again." and again the former rock was hit as it tumbled to the ground. no longer floating. glitch shrugged and tossed one of the safari balls at it. these things were weak as hell. good thing it was for decoration.

catching minior

it was boring that his partner was giving up so soon. especially when he was already bored as is. the last thing he needed was to have to deal with another rocket being a boring guy. he was a pain in the ass himself but at least he wasn't a boring one. with a small hum he realized that his teammate wasn't going to be any fun. he was too worried about other things instead of having fun. so, glitch made a small walk around the room and found someone whose wallet was sitting a little too loosely outside of their pants, grabbing it with a casual sense of ease and then making his way back to his partner. "it's okay, i can buy dinner." and as he said that the power in the building flickered once, twice and then shut off. only to come back on a few moments later as all the machines reset and glitch stood there, grinning. "i think my shift is over now." all the bonuses on the machines were now reset and anyone who was about to get lucky well... found themselves without. plays were lost and there was nothing anyone could do about it.

he felt relief whenever he finally saw ciel appear through the mist. at least he managed to have some sense of direction which was nice. glitch got lost if he wasn't using a gps. plus it was pretty cute that he had all those ghosts following him. it was nice. he wanted to have a nice picnic and a nice time with this guy. he'd even cut the crusts off of the dumb sandwiches for this guy. it was more work than he'd ever done. "it's fine! i wasn't waiting too long." which was kind of a lie but he didn't care. unlike normal it was just a white lie for once. "of course. it's what people do this time of year isn't it?" he smoothed out part of the blanket a bit. "do ghost types follow you a lot?" since he worked with them he guessed it would be plausible.

doing the panic! at the picnic mission

literally the only thing that snapped him out of this stupor was the mention that technology wasn't working if he was being completely honest. not to be creepy but ciel smelled way better than he thought that he would up close and personal. not to be creepy or anything. but he had to play it cool. with a snap of his fingers he released joy-con from his pokeball. "oh, technology is all i do! i'm like, tech support or whatever!" god that was fucking lame but whatever. he could work with it. "i can help. just let me see and me and joy-con will take care of it." without waiting for an answer he slid closer to ciel, ready to shine with whatever technologic needs he happened to have.

so, they would just like let you come in and get some really rare pokemon if you paid like, pennies pretty much? that was pretty much the sweetest deal ever especially since you could just pick that cash up out of someone's pocket rather easy. it made for a fun time when he wanted to test his luck. though his pokemon helped out with it a lot. still he was ready to find a bunch of rare pokemon and hoard them all for himself. especially since rocket kept making him do shitty jobs that managed to make him absolutely no money. so if he could find some rare pokemon here then maybe he could have a good time and find something a little worthwhile.

glitch had never been on a picnic in his life but that wasn't about to stop him now. not when he was going on a picnic with fucking ciel simmons of all people. he'd panic changed his phone wallpaper from one of those shitty flower crown collages he had made of him so that if he accidentally saw his phone he wouldn't see it or anything. now that would be embarrassing as hell. but he had this cute blanket and this cute picnic basket and his hatterene was hanging out and shit. it was nice. now he just needed ciel to show up... he was going to show up right? hahaha of course he was going to. there is no way he'd say yes and then fucking dodge him, right? there's no way ciel would do something like that...

this girl asked an awful lot of questions but he really didn't care. after all she wasn't the first person who wanted to get chatty with him. he could just be vague about his answers as he turned the ring over in his fingers that he'd taken from the ladies finger as he handed her one of the pamphlets. "does this look like a real diamond to you?" he would just say he found the ring on the ground if she tattled on him about stealing it. "i got asked to cover this shift so that someone could take care of some things. i'm too damn gracious for my own good really." he rolled his eyes. "last week i covered a shift at a casino even. did you know not all of them let you dress up in cute bunny suits? apparently that's in the movies." which fucking sucked.
