In their case, that is exactly what happens. The data in the given space begins to glitch and warp, a new scenery coming into view as Eris pulls her right on through. This time, they are greeted by weary faces, ruin and rot marring the place they call home.[break][break]

A frosty steed. A spectre striking fear into pokemon and human alike. Turning to Cass, she's just about to ask what the other makes of it when-[break][break]

It crashes on through, wooden splinters kicked in all directions as it whinnies and neighs, stomping its feet against the ground. And every step it takes leaves a glacial sheen, chilling the air by a few degrees as it continues to run and crash right through another fence.

[attr="class","eris109"]They bicker like kids on a playground, though Razz yields pretty quick. Though she doesn't get up throughout their conversation, Eris is still aware when she's being addressed. While Reiner scrunches his nose and shrugs, she'll weakly raise a thumb as an answer to his question.[break][break]

"If anything, I'd recommend using those pokemon you guys have on loan to make an obstacle course. Only time I've seen that many Voltorb was when they swarmed a place."

[attr="class","eris109"]It's a miracle. One that creates lull in battle. One filled with the ugly screams of a dangerous man, but a miraculous lull nonetheless. Darkness scoops the cowering child up in one swift motion, a Luxray snatching ahold of her collar as he growls at the pixie.[break][break]

Mesprit, on the other hand, seems perfectly content where they are, head tilted to one side as they study the masked man and his beast. Their tails flick, slowly, methodically, as they hover a little closer. One hand reaches out, reaching for his face.[break][break]

Another growl, louder and sharper this time. The air goes cold. Mesprit stops, their eyes snapping up. Above them all towers the end of a beginning, an ancient titan that should've been left where it'd been found. A scowl mars their features as they narrow their eyes, the red light of a Salamence being recalled dying their skin.[break][break]

Her will remains, battered and broken but breathing nonetheless. The warnings fall upon deaf ears, the heart set on the sole task she's assigned herself, one that her companions will dutifully follow through with her. And with one final glance towards the stranger, she closes her eyes before her will completely crumbles, urging Reiner further into the chaos.[break][break]

To Navy. To Howard. To Regice and the unknown left in its wake.

[attr="class","eris109"]Though she can't see it, she can most certainly smell and recognise it: The scent of blood. It makes her stiffen, breathing out slowly as Reiner pulls her in for something that resembles a hug.[break][break]

Isn't it meant to be a good thing? Getting powers that can help shape this world? If she could help even a little -[break][break]

Everything stops. Her chest hollowed of any emotions as she finally opens her eyes. Reiner watches her closely, a frown tugging at his lips as he tries to decipher her expressions. When she dares to look up, she's greeted by a concerned Mesprit, chittering as they gently brush her cheek.[break][break]

"Don't." She murmurs, pushing their hands away. Where the heart no longer stirs enters a new sensation, nausea gripping her insides and flipping it inside out. "Don't do that."[break][break]

In an instant, it flows. All the worry, all the negativity. But still, it feels far better than nothing at all.

[attr="class","eris109"]"No?" Little Eris was far too busy scaling trees and chasing wild pokemon to watch baseball in the living room. But as she watches Navy huck that Voltorb right through the air, she can't help but whistle at the beautiful arc.[break][break]

Surprisingly, that Voltorb holds more than enough power to make Regieleki stumble back. Now, when you multiply that explosive force several times over, it's a wonder how the titan still manages to stand its ground.[break][break]

Of course, it isn't happy, the symbols on its face flickering as it turns towards them. First comes Zacian, a point-blank Hyper Beam aimed straight at her face. Then it calls to the storm, a booming cry that urges the clouds to gather above them.[break][break]

"REI-"[break][break]

Judgement falls from the heavens, lightning crashing down indiscriminately on the buildings, rocks and all living beings in the area. A Thunderbolt strikes near Eris' feet, the sudden impact startling her as she yelps and falls. The remnant electricity discharged into the air prickles at her skin, readily marking her as a prime target for the next strike. The dark clouds glow, yet another bolt rushing down towards her -[break][break]

A bright light envelopes her. It's warm but doesn't burn at her skin, it's tingly but doesn't fry her senses. Standing right by her side, a figure also basks in that golden glow. He grits his teeth, growling as the surging current is forcefully directed into the ground.

[attr="class","eris109"]Just when she'd thought things were a little too peaceful, a dynamaxed Golurk decides to rear its ugly head. As its punches shake and rattle the earth, she hears the voices that dance amidst the chorus of shifting sands. And all it takes is Navy's call to reaffirm her thoughts.[break][break]

Many questions flood her mind. But as the Golurk groans and readies yet another devastating swing, she knows that they must be momentarily laid to rest. Her palms rest against the hardened shell of her Torterra, pushing her into a more stable sitting position. Things are going to get rough and it'd be best if she doesn't wind up eating a mouth full of sand.[break][break]

"Bloom!"[break][break]

Not even the harshness of this desert will hinder their will, sprouts beginning to poke through the sand and spread. And within seconds, the golden dunes are swallowed by an evergreen sea.[break][break]

"You guys alright??"[break][break]

And how loudly his own electricity snarls in this endless storm, a Rising Voltage amplified by their sygna suit bond and the heavily ionised atmosphere.[break][break]

Eris, on the other hand, tethers on uneven ground, stumbling and flailing a little until she catches her balance. Everything is so loud in this city, the laughter of Voltorb above echoing through these strange metallic structures. Then suddenly, a shriek. Her eyes snap up as she watches a Voltorb levitate mid-air. Then it drops to Navy, wide-eyed as she takes in the gesture he's making and puts it all together.[break][break]

And back to the Voltorb it goes, prickles of light beginning to dot its body -[break][break]

"Navy, it's gonna explode!"

[attr="class","eris109"]"I won't!" She nods to El Sunderland in thanks. Though most times this would perceived as a lie as she fought on despite the odds, Eris knows better than to push her limits lest Frisky pay the price. "Don't push yourself either!"[break][break]

Unlike the fight at the Tree of Life, the casualties were much more avoidable this time.[break][break]

"Fancy seeing you here, Cass!" She smiles, unable to help the fleeting glance at those once purple-stained fingertips. "Just another crazy afternoon in Hoenn, huh?"[break][break]

With Regirock in Area Zero, Regice's rampage in Dewford and the Registeel now before their very eyes, she wonders when the lost Regidrago might make its reappearance in the region. Hopefully not in Littleroot, or the pixies would have a ton of words to say.[break][break]

"Take aim!" With Eris pointing towards the titan, Frisky begins to charge up a Solar Beam.[break][break]

[attr="class","eris109"]They weren't lying when they said that Mossdeep was facing some of the weirdest weather phenomenon as of late. The sun beats down harshly on her skin, whilst static electricity crackles and snaps at her ankles.[break][break]

Koios' screen flashes with a warning: A lack of signal means that there'll be no calls or messages for her whilst she sticks around. But it shouldn't be too much of a problem considering that she's just here to pick up a few things from her old home.[break][break]

"You guys okay back there?"[break][break]

Books and maps and other little knick-knacks fill the satchels that Reiner and Einar carry, the Wooper waddling in the Luxray's wake with a 'Woop' to every step. Whatever is happening to the region is far out of their hands. Try as hard as they may to investigate, they'll ultimately come up short and be shooed away by the authorities.[break][break]

Still, she'd be lying if she said she wasn't worried in the slightest.
