He isn’t paying attention to Jonah, his focus was to finish this and move on. Another slowbro moaned in pain as he forced off it’s shell, Asriel began to get the hang of it - his work increasing in speed. Turning his head when Jonah spoke up again. Asriel didn’t care much for the man’s trapinch, but did acknowledge that his new method was innovative “boxing” the answer was simple, quick. His work resumed when he answered and he didn’t give Jonah a second glance.

“Oh....” the response was dry, uncaring and unbothered. He isn’t surprised that Theo would do such a thing, truthfully he expected to hear something a lot worse. Asriel only seems interested when Raziel mentions Cillian Quinn is supposedly dead. “we’re in rocket, death is common. You shouldn’t get attached to people in this organization, everyone only cares about themselves.” the words were harsh, but it was how Asriel truly felt.

He dismisses the conversation with the wave of a hand, he didn’t want to be distracted on the mission any more then he had been. With the power taken care off, Asriel nods to the luxray, who leads the way - it’s eyes glowing in the dark. And it led the two of them to the targets location with ease, “stay here raizel” he speaks firmly, expecting him to listen.

Asriel and his Luxray continue, finding the target without much trouble. However theres a pit in his stomach, was this entire operation supposed to be so easy? Why was everything so quiet. His head snaps in the direction of a loud bang - it was where Razz had been.

Completely concerned about the wellbeing of his brother, Asriel completely forgets about the objective and races back to where Razz should have been.

It's been awhile since he had last been to a fighting ring. Asriel had frequented such locations when he was back in kanto, majority of the fighters there didn't even know how to throw a punch correctly, he hoped that hoenn would be different. Asriel watches Miles as he beats another opponent, he chuckles out of amusement. Not taking the man to be a decent fighter, he was pleasantly surprised.

Watching as the defeated opponent leaves the ring, Asriel takes the opportunity to defeat him, raising his hand towards the announcer when asked if there were any other challengers. Asriel steps into the ring, acknowledging his opponent with a small wave. With the announcers signal, his nidoqueen is released from it's pokeball, snorting as her eyes lock on with the kabutops.

With the "go" signal announced, Asriel reacts quickly moving towards Miles in a cautionary fashion. He looked like complete shit, but it wouldn't be wise to underestimate him. Seeing a window of opportunity Asriel goes for the legs, his kick low and powerful.

Asriel isn’t surprised to hear that Theo did something, he knows what he’s like. “What did he do?” He isn’t all that interested and only asks out of courtsey. Waiting for the signal Asriel goes up when the coast is clear. Looking at the power source and then back at the two pokemon.

He nods towards raizel. Though he doesn’t really know the best option, “with me i guess.” He doesn’t want to put Raizel in danger but Asriel is not very sure he could handle the colossal task on his own. He pulls up his mask to conceal his face.

“I’m Ready”

“Ok” Is all he says, disinterested in knowing more about Jonah or the ‘facility’ he was in charge of. The only thing that was on his mind was to finish this task and move onto the next.

“Simple stuff” Asriel releases another slowbro, working quickly to pull apart it’s shell like he had done before. Once they were apart, he replaced the shell with a different one, causing the slowbro to re-evolve into a slowking.

Without another thought, he resealed it back into the pokeball. Quickly moving onto the next one and doing the same, Asriel worked in silence. Not sparing Jonah a second glance, he wasn’t interested in socializing but if the man chose to spoke again, he didn’t mind engaging in small chat.

Asriel followed along quietly, giving the other trainers a side glance as they passed by them. Thankfully they left without saying anything to them, but it wouldn’t be good if they are seen by others. He observes as Raizel orders the magneton to lift them up, surprisingly it obeys without much thought and Asriel grips tightly onto the pokemon while it lifts them up.

He looks up where they need to climb and sighs out of annoyance. It looked to be pretty high up, falling could result in a broken bone or worse. Rubbing his hands together, he prepares to climb pausing when Razz speaks.

“Probably” Asriel finds it unlikely that he came along to just watch, Theo probably had a side objective one that the two of them weren’t aware of. “I’m sure he’ll come to our aid if something were to go wrong.” He reassures Raizel with a subtle nod, Asriel wasn’t very close with Theo so he didn’t understand why Raizel was so fond of him.

“Don’t fall” he heeds a simple warning before beginning his climb. It was more difficult then he imagined but he managed to reach the top before raizel.
