His taunts didn't warrant much of a reaction from her. Asriel had a bad tendency, where he talks to much to his enemy. Before he could spit out any more insults Anna takes him by surprise again. Her hand tightly gripped onto his hair and there's nothing he could do as she forces him to the ground face first with brute strength.

Asriel moans with pain, spitting up blood and dirt as he coughs. His face grows red with anger "You little bit-" his words are cut short by an intense rumbling. He glances upwards to see that the terrain around them was beginning to crumble. It was the result of their pokemon's battle. The cerluedge's bitter blade caused his luxray to slam into a unstable area of the cave.

"Fuck this." He states quietly to himself, stumbling back up all his thoughts were redirected on getting out of here quick as possible. "You'll have to catch me if you wanna stop me" He tells the ranger with a twisted chuckle. Asriel then whistles sharply into the air, a signal for the luxray to retreat.

The luxray growls deeply, electricity flowing from it's paws as it sends a thunder wave towards the cereludge to paralyze it to escape successfully. It then makes a dash towards the shadows fleeing from the battle. Asriel then cracks open another pokeball, a kirlia is quick to appear besides him.

"Teleport!" The command is stated with fury and within a flash the Kirlia manifests her psychic energy to teleport both of them away from danger.

Asriel's hands tightly wrap around ollie's neck he's just about to strangle the life from him when suddenly - an ursaring comes to it's trainers aide. The bear pokemon's mighty claws heading straight towards him, luckily for Asriel he manages to evade just in time but not completely.

The slash attack inflicts a nasty cut to Asriel's neck. Blood is quick to spill from the injury and Asriel is forced to retreat in order to take care of the bleeding before he loses to much blood. Groaning with pain he curses audibly as he does a hasty job in applying a bandage to the wound.

However the blood loss is affecting him and he stumbles to the ground, still conscious he rests against the cavern walls.

Like his father, Asriel is bewildered when a broken down pokemon seemingly has life breathed back into it. Giving a quick glance towards his father Asriel isn't surprised to see the look of curiosity written all of his face.

In a matter of seconds the volcanion already begins to launch an attack. If it wasn't for the quick reaction of his father's mechanical arm, there would of been a price to pay. When he is shoved out of the way he is quickly met by the others who have rushed to their aide given the sound.

"Retreat!" Was all that Asriel mouthed to Ruby and Belial. He leads the others down far enough where they were able to get a good distance from the volcanion. He then addresses Belial's previous questions "You should know better then to ask if we are abandoning our mission." He gives the mercenary an irritated glare before continuing. "We witnessed a mechanical volcanion come back to life it proceeded to attack us which is why we retreated, understand?" His tone is pretty demanding and Asriel gives the expression that he doesn't want to hear any other questions about the matter.

"Now. did you come across anything useful when you decided to venture off without permission?"

The fury Asriel felt raging inside him dies down. Instead he glares at Raziel coldly, his expression remains blank and unreadable as Raziel's efforts to talk to him would prove futile. He softly smirks once his brother points his finger towards him, "Enough with your nonsense."

Unfazed when the knife is knocked away by Salem, Asriel doesn't even bother to glance towards his old partner pokemon. "You're a fool, brother. Our fate was sealed once you've betrayed us and joined the league." Asriel pulls out more weapons this time they were thin and sharp needles laced with poison.

He throws them with precision aimed towards Raziel's vital spots.

His anger was comparable to a fire, there was no telling when it could spiral out of control. His expression transitions into a scowl as Raziel began to retreat, it was irritating to see how his brother hasn't changed even though many years has passed since their last encounter. Deep down Asriel was relieved when Raziel deserted team rocket, he knew that Raziel wouldn't last in the syndicate. However to see him here the same as always frustrated him.

"You'll never be good enough for them. Just as how you were never good enough for mother or father." His tone is cold and uncaring, carrying a truth that both of them carried. Raziel's next words angered Asriel greatly, his rage was clearly visible in his expression.

"How ironic, coming from the guy who abandoned his own family." He states with a twisted smile his hand gripping a poison dipped dagger. "To be fair, mother and father have no concern over you at all, in my eyes you're better of dead." The same wicked smile manifests again as Asriel charges towards Raziel his dagger aimed at his brothers chest.

The luxray growls with displeasure, a grimace written on it's face as it expression twists with pain from the recoil of the wild charge. Retreating when debris begins to fall around them, it stands guard against the ceruledge having the intent to block if it attempts to interfere in it's masters battle.

The sudden ally switch catches Asriel off guard, it was quick thinking on the rangers part - it was a mistake to underestimate her. Asriel curses under his breath realizing that he wouldn't be dodge the punch. Anna's fist makes contact, and there was more strength to her then he had been expecting.

Stumbling backwards his vision and mind is shaky, he coughs up blood along with a tooth. Groaning heavily he pulls himself back together within a few moments. "Not to bad for a girl." he states with a huff spitting out more blood. Without a warning he launches himself back towards Anna, he charges at her attempting to kick her knees.

The corners of Asriel's lips curve upwards into a subtle smirk. He found messing with inexperienced rangers to be quite pleasing - and his initial impression of Anna was that she was weak. Unprepared to be in a real battle, she was an unfortunate soul to have ran into him.

"Guess you'll never know, blondie." Asriel responds flatly, shoulders rolling into a uncaring shrug. The confusion seemed to have paid off - his luxray had inched close enough to initiate an attack. A swift head motion was all it took to get the electric feline to launch an all out attack on the ranger.

Electricity zaps around wildly, as the luxray races towards the woman with the intention of smashing her into the nearby wall with a wild charge

Asriel's expression darkens with Raziel's uncertainty, a scowl forming naturally as he steps closer towards him. "If you're here that could only mean one thing." His eyes narrow into a piercing glare "You're apart of the rangers - even I didn't think you could stoop this low." Asriel finishes scoffing mockingly

"You should know well that the stains of rocket can never be erased - no matter what you try." His eyes raise as a warning, Asriel had no intention in letting Raziel explain himself, hands wrapped around a pokeball the center button is swiftly clicked. With a thud the same Nidoking that Raziel once trained now stood against him, as an enemy.

Having already sustained injuries from a previous altercation, Asriel was determined to reach his objective quickly as possible. While they had been expecting the league to prevent them from their goal - he had to admit they were difficult to deal with. He swims through the realm with much stealth as possible, however his efforts would prove to be futile.

Eyes widen with surprise when a ceruledge teleports in front of him. He clicks his tongue in irritation, fully aware of how exceptional they could be in battle after his brief encounter with his fathers. Asriel was flustered with how he was spotted yet once again, he felt fully confident in his capabilities but no matter where he went there always seemed to be a league member not to far behind.

Backing off for now, his head turns to face the ceruledge's trainer - unexpectedly who was a young women. Asriel chuckles at her request his expression shifting to an amused one.

"How silly of you to ask that from your enemy, blondie." His voice transitions to sound more grim staring at the woman with piercing unforgiving eyes. Faintly whistling a soft tune, Asriel's luxray lurks behind Annalise and her pokemon patiently waiting for it's masters signal to attack.

"Be warned. I'm a top 500 player in Valorant."

Ollie was falling right for his act. Everything was going how Asriel predicted, all he needed to do now was to remain patient and the perfect opportunity for a counter-attack will arrive. It was going a little too smoothly - he was a little shocked when Ollie came to check on his well being. Perhaps he thought of them to highly.

Asriel attacks instantly - tackling Ollie with plenty of force and wrestling with him until he was pinned onto the cold cavern floor. "You're gonna regret not finishing me off, pretty boy." He states in a hushed voice a twisted smile forming on his face. Loosening the grip he had on Ollie, Asriel uses his right arm to try and clobber him with a punch to the head.

He's startled by the impact of Salems dark pulse. Having been caught completely off guard, Asriel wasn't sure if his enemy was a lousy shot or if it was a warning. However he wasn't going to stay in the open to find out - he swims towards nearby cover which was a cluster of boulders a few feet away.

From there he looks around - wary of incoming attacks while trying to pinpoint where the enemy was. Asriel wouldn't have much luck, the limited lighting of the realm made visibility relatively poor the situation was irritating him.

The verbal warning sends a cold chill crawling down his back.

Initially he was unsure, but the voice sounded reminiscent to that of his brothers - a voice he had forgotten about for years. One he wished to have never heard again. Asriel could feel his heart thumping, almost at the same pace of the one that could be heard throughout this realm.

He had his suspicions that this was Raziel, and there was only one way to find out.

Returning to the open his piercing eyes fixate towards the general direction where the attack had came from, expecting him to emerge from there.

"I'm afraid you should stop making promises that you can't keep. Looks like that part of you will never change Raziel."

Panging throbs cause Asriel to clutch his head in annoyance. He wasn't sure as to what it's cause was, but one suspicion was it was something within this realm. By the time Asriel notices the oncoming attack from Ollie's pikachu - it was to late for him. The tremendous speed would prove to be impossible to dodge.

It strikes him with full force, and his previous head pains are replaced with an intense electric shock pulsing throughout his entire body. Asriel grits his teeth in pain - groaning and mumbling loudly as the attack continued it's course. It leaves him briefly paralyzed leaving him rather vulnerable to his unknown attacker.

However instead of trying to flee, Asriel puts on an act. Forcibly falling onto the cold rock floor as he pretends to be incapacitated. His plan was to trick his attacker and go on the offense when approached. If it didn't work he would have to resort to other measures.

Perhaps it was because of the unfamiliar surroundings that caused Asriel to lose his edge. Normally it took someone very skilled to actually manage to catch him off guard.

Following a map of the general area where the sealstones were first discovered, Asriel ventures deeper into the realm - an unsettling sensation closely clutching his heart. For Ollie, Asriel most likely appeared to be very unguarded as the rocket member didn't have a single pokemon at his side. However Asriel was prepared for almost anything - just not a sneak attack.

Asriel's head throbs with each step he draws near the sealstone. His vision blurs which causes him to walk uneasily. He rests an arm against the hard cavern walls, deciding to take a momentary rest.

This was the perfect chance for an attack.

Comparing this realm to the mechanical kingdom - Asriel preferred the latter. He found himself out of his comfort zone in the alien-like surroundings. Always managing to stay calm and collected, this unfamiliar feeling got him irritated each passing moment. However Asriel is focused on the objective; finding the seal stone. Even though much of the properties were unknown to him there was one certainty - Rocket would surely be unstoppable with it in their possession.

Asriel knew there were things to be wary about - the primary concern was not the league, but the interdream zone. With it leaking throughout the world there was no telling what could pop out at him, he had to proceed with caution to ensure he doesn't mix up what was real with what was not.
[break][break]
He continued to venture further into the realm, his usual ordinary attire almost blended him in with the grim surroundings. Occasionally he could hear the strange noise of thumping echoing throughout the cold cavern walls. It faintly reminds him of a beating heart but the thought is swift to be pushed aside.

Asriel was completely unsuspecting of his surroundings as a distant glow captured his full attention.
