Tossing the ramen inside the boiling water - it wouldn't take long for the noodles to be boiled. Asriel swiftly adds in other ingredients cracking open two eggs and the pork. He covers the pot with a lid to allow the noodles to simmer so it would taste even better.

Asriel nods his head as he tries to understand the position Jayden now found himself in. Personally he could never imagine being in his shoes, nor his fathers.

Within minutes the ramen is finished. Asriel places it in the middle so that the both of them can easily eat it together. He then slides Jayden a bowl for him to use.

His expression slightly twists with the mention of his father - clearly caught off guard.

"What exactly did you hear?" Asriel asks while passing Jayden a set of metal chopsticks. His face didn't display any curiosity but his eyes betrayed him.

Asriel wasn't always aware of what his father had been up to.

His shoulders shrug at Jayden's response. Was it really high praise? Asriel felt that it was a given as he knew what Jayden was capable of. "Pork Ramen.." he repeats while contemplating the choice.

Remembering the days they would feast on ramen after a long day of training, Asriel agrees with a nod. Walking towards the dorms of the submarine their footsteps echo on the cold steel floor. It didn't take long to arrive at his dorm, the door opens with a twist of the doorhandle - asriel never left his door locked.

greeted by the cramped dark empty room the light switch is flicked on with a swift motion. Heading towards the kitchen Asriel grabs an old pan and fills it with water, quickly pouring in water for it to boil.

He then quickly grabs two bags of instant spicy ramen and puts it to the side. Opening the fridge door he grabs some sliced pork and sets it aside on the counter, ripping the bags of ramen as he waits for the water to boil.

"So, how is it?" the two may hold different positions within the syndicate but their relationship will never change.

"Understood." Asriel expected that his father would be keen on returning, he on the other hand would prefer not to come back to such a strange world. The emptiness of the rocket submarine was something he found comforting, however if it was something his father commanded - Asriel would oblige with no questions asked.

Doing as told, he touches the device waiting to be teleported back to where they belonged.

With preparations complete and both trainers latched onto her arms. The kirlia preforms the teleportation, and they find themselves close to where they had originally arrived. He's irritated with the kirlia as he had expected the pokemon to teleport them closer to his father at the very least.


Asriel sighs and just as he's about to report to his comms device again he hears the voice of Belial Stone which he promptly responds to. "we're fine. I'll update you on what we encountered when we meet back up." keeping it brief he turns off the intercom and summons his weakened luxray.

The electric feline was in rough shape, but that didn't matter to Asriel. "track him" with a weak meow the luxray used it's powerful vision to lead both of them back towards his father and belial. Hearing the voices of the others, he leads ruby into the secluded room where they reunite once again.

The luxray soon collapses due to exhaustion and Asriel swiftly returns it to the pokeball.

"I have much to report." his gaze looks towards his father completely ignoring the presence of Belial Stone and Ruby Garcia when his father give him permission to speak he continues "I first discovered a unknown pokemon in the kingdom, it flees as I pursued. I was eventually surrounded by a large number of volcanion and that's where I regrouped with her to try and battle them. They were not normal behaving more like puppets more than pokemon, almost as if they were guarding something. From there we played it smart and decided to regroup to see how we should proceed. "

Asriel was uncertain how his father would react upon hearing the report. he figured that he wouldn't be to happy with how they ran away and how he failed to acquire the unknkown pokemon, It wouldn't be surprising for him to be disappointed - which summed up their relationship perfectly.

It was unusual for Asriel to attend a birthday party. He never cared for celebrations, as a child his birthday was a regular day. The sole reason he did show up was for Jayden - a childhood friend who he cared for more than he liked to admit. While he knew it was customary to bring a gift Asriel had a hard time deciding what to get Jayden. He spent many days agonizing on what to get for his friend but ultimately he decided to get gear that would be useful on a mission along with a card that simply states "happy birthday -asri"

he arrives at the apartment dressed in casual wear. The door opens within a few moments of him knocking and Asriel encounters two rocket members he's never met. "Hello." He greets mint frost promptly before making his way inside and setting his neatly wrapped gift on a coffee table.

He then proceeds to look around the apartment, noticing that his old mentor THEO BECKETT had also been invited. he dips his head to greet him. "good to see you sir." his tone is plain but respectful, asriel then turns towards the others.

Asriel was accustomed to the snarky comments, he knew better than to respond. For his father, actions would always be louder than words. The atmosphere shifts immediately when the Ceruledge is summoned, while this unknown pokemon was new to Asriel he wouldn't have time to fawn over it as it attacks him and the shadow riolu without warning.

Due to trained reflexes Asriel manages to evade the purple crescent-like blades relatively easily by leaping back and out of it's range. The riolu isn't as lucky as the pyscho cut connects and the impact from psychic energy was powerful enough to send the shadow pokemon flying into the wall of the training room.


Riolu is swift to recover from the brutal attack. It's shadowy aura appearing to grow more sinister as it stares down both pryde and the ceruledge with an eerie expression. "Now, attack with icepunch." what should of been a simple attack ended with the riolu disobeying completely.

Instead of a chilling punch the riolu decides to charge at the ceruledge punching it with powered up fists from bullet punch. It's sinister expression growing with each punch thrown.

It was clear that it would be a long tedious journey for these two to work together. One that Asriel would embark on without any complains, for the glory of rocket.

The battle was quickly becoming more intense. While their pokemon were putting up a good fight, Asriel noticed the volcanion swiftly recovered from their attacks while easily being able to overpower his pokemon. As the volcanion charge their power for an attack he comes to a realization they were preparing for an overheat. In a panic he orders his pokemon to retreat, but they weren't able to escape the large fire balls that were tossed in their direction.

Both his pokemon were knocked out cold. With a grim expression Asriel recalls both of them into their pokeballs, just as he was about to send out his next pokemon the sounds of a different commotion caught his attention. His initial thought was that the others were also caught up in some sort of trouble.

Asriel knew that it'd be extremely difficult to win this battle with just the two of them, the safest option would be to regroup. Turning to Ruby he informs her of the plan. "our chances of success will be better when we are grouped back up."

He then calls out his nidoking and kirlia, "keep them distracted. Kirlia prepare for a teleport." His two pokemon nod to the instructions the nidoking attacking with a sludge wave which prevented them from getting too close for the time being.

With kirlia channeling her psychic energy Asriel speaks into the comms to find out about the situation. "There's a situation here, what's your status over there?" The kirlia extends both her hands to Asriel and Ruby ready to teleport to a different location when they grab on.

Asriel holds onto the kirlia's hand recalling his nidoking. "If you're coming grab the hand." He informs Ruby while waiting for a response from the others.
